Abstract

A low-cost photoelectric conversion element is achieved. The photoelectric conversion element (1) includes: a top cell (10) disposed on the light-receiving side, a bottom cell (20) disposed on the back side, an upper electrode (31) and a lower electrode (32); the bottom cell has a first photoelectric conversion layer (23) containing silicon, a thin film silicon compound layer (24) located between the first photoelectric conversion layer and the lower electrode, an amorphous silicon layer (25) located between the thin film silicon compound layer and the lower electrode, an intrinsic amorphous semiconductor layer (22) located between the first photoelectric conversion layer and the top cell, and a conductive amorphous semiconductor layer (21) located between the intrinsic amorphous semiconductor layer and the top cell.
