Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to a protective box, and more particularly to a protective box for supporting a thin plate and being drop-resistant and impact-resistant. Prior Technology
[0002] Forming complex and intricate structures on a substrate is a common technique in semiconductor, microelectromechanical, and precision optics fields. Taking a glass substrate as an example, optical microstructures are formed on it. These microstructures typically cover almost the entire surface of the substrate, leaving only limited areas (such as edges or the center) unformed. However, these microstructures are very fragile, and it's best to avoid touching them during handling to prevent damage. With technological advancements, substrate thickness is decreasing. When large glass substrates are thinned, they become highly brittle. There is a demand in the industry for packaging these large, thin glass substrates with their optical microstructures in protective cases for shipping to other countries, such as from Taiwan to the US or Europe by air. However, conventional protective cases struggle to secure the thin glass substrate on its limited surface area while ensuring that the substrate remains undamaged even if the case is accidentally dropped or bumped during transport and handling. Besides thin glass substrates, other semiconductor substrates are also gradually facing this dilemma. The current protective cases suffer excessive damage during transportation; overcoming this difficulty is a problem the industry urgently needs to solve.
[0003] In view of this, the inventor developed a design that is easy to assemble, which avoids the above-mentioned disadvantages, is easy to install, and has the advantages of low cost, so as to take into account the considerations of flexibility and economy. Therefore, this invention came into being. Summary of the Invention
[0004] The technical problem to be solved by the present invention is how to fix the thin plate with a very limited accessible surface, and how to greatly reduce the risk of damage to the thin plate inside the protective box even if the protective box is accidentally dropped or collided during transportation and transfer.
[0005] To address the aforementioned problems and achieve the desired effect, the present invention provides a protective box with an internal accommodating space defined by a first surface, a second surface opposite to the first surface, and a side surface between the first and second surfaces. The protective box includes a first housing, a second housing, and a plurality of fixing post groups. The first housing has a first surface. The second housing has a second surface. The number of the plurality of fixing post groups is at least three. Each of the plurality of fixing post groups includes a first fixing post and a second fixing post. [0026] Please refer to Figures 1 and 2, which are top views of the first housing, second housing, first fixing post, and second fixing post of a specific embodiment of the protective box of the present invention, respectively. Please also refer to Figure 3, which is a cross-sectional view along section line A-A' in Figure 1 and section line B-B' in Figure 2, before combining the embodiments of Figures 1 and 2. The protective box 1 of the present invention is used to support and protect a thin plate 10, reducing the risk of damage or breakage of the thin plate 10 when the protective box 1 is impacted or dropped. The protective box 1 of the present invention includes a first housing 2, a second housing 3, and a plurality of fixing post groups (in this embodiment, the plurality of fixing post groups includes nine fixing post groups 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, 47, 48, and 49). The first housing 2 has a first groove 20, four first positioning holes 24, a through hole 25, and a valve 26. The first groove 20 has a first opening 21 and a first surface 22 (i.e., a bottom surface of the first groove 20). The first surface 22 has nine third positioning portions 23 (nine grooves). The second housing 3 has a second groove 30 and four second positioning holes 34 corresponding to the four first positioning holes 24 of the first housing 2. The second groove 30 has a second opening 31 and a second surface 32 (i.e., a bottom surface of the second groove 30). The second surface 32 has nine fourth positioning portions 33 (nine grooves), wherein the nine fourth positioning portions 33 are nine third positioning portions 23 corresponding to the first surface 22 of the first housing 2. Each of the nine fixing post groups 41-49 includes a first fixing post 5 and a second fixing post 6 corresponding to one of the first fixing posts 5.
[0027] Each first fixing post 5 includes a first post body 50 and a first top 51. The first top 51 is located on the first post body 50. The first top 51 is made of silicone or latex. The first top 51 has a first top surface 52. The first top surface 52 is a non-smooth surface. The first top 51 has a first hardness. The first hardness is greater than or equal to Shore hardness A30 and less than or equal to Shore hardness A80; wherein Shore hardness A is Shore Hardness Type A, which is measured according to ISO 868 and ASTM D2240 standards, using Shore Durometer Type A to measure the hardness of polymers, elastomers and rubber. The bottom of the first post body 50 has a first positioning part 53. The first positioning parts 53 of the first post body 50 of the nine first fixing posts 5 are respectively positioned on the nine third positioning parts 23, so that the nine first fixing posts 5 are respectively disposed on the first surface 22 of the first housing 2.
[0028] Each second fixing post 6 includes a second post body 60 and a second top 61. The second top 61 is located on the second post body 60. The second top 61 is made of silicone or latex. The second top 61 has a second top surface 62. The second top surface 62 is a non-smooth surface. The second top 61 has a second hardness. The second hardness is greater than or equal to Shore hardness A40 and less than or equal to Shore hardness A80. The bottom of the second post body 60 has a second positioning part 63. The second positioning parts 63 of the second post bodies 60 of the nine second fixing posts 6 are respectively positioned on the nine fourth positioning parts 33, so that the nine second fixing posts 6 are respectively disposed on the second surface 32 of the second housing 3.
[0029] Please refer to Figure 4, which is a top view showing a thin plate placed on the first fixing post of the first housing in Figure 1. In this embodiment, the thin plate 10 is a glass plate. When using the protective box 1 of the present invention, the thin plate 10 can first be placed on the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the nine first fixing posts 5 of the first housing 2 (as shown in Figure 4). Then, the second opening 31 of the second housing 3 faces the first opening 21 of the first housing 2, so that the second housing 3 covers the first housing 2 (at this time, the four first positioning holes 24 correspond to the four second positioning holes 34 respectively, and the nine fourth positioning parts 33 correspond to the nine third positioning parts 23 respectively, that is, the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the nine first fixing posts 5 correspond to the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the nine second fixing posts 6), so that the thin plate 10 is positioned and fixed between the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the nine first fixing posts 5 and the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the nine second fixing posts 6. Four long screws (not shown in the figure) are then passed through the four first positioning holes 24 and the four second positioning holes 34, respectively, and then secured with four nuts (not shown in the figure) to fix the connection between the first housing 2 and the second housing 3. After the first housing 2 and the second housing 3 are joined, the connected first groove 20 and the second groove 30 form a receiving space, which is defined by the first surface 22, the second surface 32, and a side surface, including one side wall of the first groove 20 and one side wall of the second groove 30. In this embodiment, the receiving space is an airtight space. The valve 26 of the first housing 2 is connected to the through hole 25. When the valve 26 is open, the receiving space is connected to the outside through the through hole 25 and the valve 26; when the valve 26 is closed, the receiving space is closed to the outside, thus forming an airtight space.
[0030] The thin plate 10 can also be placed on the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the nine second fixing posts 6 of the second housing 3, and then the first opening 21 of the first housing 2 faces the second opening 31 of the second housing 3, so that the first housing 2 covers the second housing 3, and then four long screws (not shown in the figure) and four nuts (not shown in the figure) are used to lock and fix the connection between the first housing 2 and the second housing 3.
[0031] When manufacturing the first top 51 and the second top 61 of the present invention, the inner surface (contact surface) of the mold can be roughened by texturing, sandblasting, or patterning to make the inner surface of the mold a non-smooth or roughened surface. Then, through the injection or molding process, the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 and the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the present invention are a matte surface or a texturing surface (a non-smooth or roughened surface). The non-smooth or roughened first top surface 52 and second top surface 62 can prevent the sheet 10 from sliding between the first top surface 52 and the second top surface 62. In addition, if the first top surface 52 and the second top surface 62 are smooth surfaces, when separating the first housing 2 and the second housing 3, the first top surface 52 and / or the second top surface 62 may be too smooth and stick to the sheet 10, causing the sheet 10 to break. The non-smooth or roughened first top surface 52 and second top surface 62 can prevent the thin plate 10 from being stuck.
[0032] In some embodiments, the first pillar 50 and the first top 51 are integrally formed and both are made of silicone or latex. In other embodiments, the first pillar 50 and the first top 51 are respectively made of silicone or latex through an injection or molding process, and then bonded together. In still other embodiments, the material of the first pillar 50 is not made of silicone or latex, but is made of acrylic or plastic, for example. In some embodiments, the second pillar 60 and the second top 61 are integrally formed and both are made of silicone or latex. In other embodiments, the second pillar 60 and the second top 61 are respectively made of silicone or latex through an injection or molding process, and then bonded together. In still other embodiments, the material of the second pillar 60 is not made of silicone or latex, but is made of acrylic or plastic, for example. In some embodiments, the aforementioned silicone or latex is antistatic silicone or latex. In other embodiments, the aforementioned acrylic or plastic system is antistatic acrylic or plastic.
[0033] In Figure 1, there is a distance between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed posts 5 in any two adjacent fixed post groups. For example, there is a distance S12 between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed posts 5 in adjacent fixed post groups 41 and 42 (= the distance between the centers of the second tops 61 of the second fixed posts 6 in adjacent fixed post groups 41 and 42). The adjacent fixed column groups 42, 43, 41, 44, 42, 45, 43, 46, 44, 45, 45, 46, 44, 47, 48, 46, 46, 47, 48, 49, 47, 48, and 49, and the adjacent fixed column groups 48, 49, each have a spacing of S23, S14, S25, S36, S45, S56, S47, S58, S69, S78, and S89 between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5. When the thin plate 10 is made of a specific material and has a specific thickness, if the spacings S12, S23, S14, S25, S36, S45, S56, S47, S58, S69, S78, and S89 are too large, the risk of the thin plate 10 breaking or shattering when the protective box 1 of the present invention is impacted or dropped will increase. To avoid the thin plate 10 breaking or shattering due to impact or drop of the protective box 1, the aforementioned spacings must be less than or equal to a spacing critical threshold, wherein the spacing critical threshold is related to the material constituting the thin plate 10 and the thickness of the thin plate 10.
[0034] Furthermore, in Figure 1, an area is formed between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed columns 5 in any three adjacent fixed column groups. For example, an area A124 is formed between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed columns 5 in three adjacent fixed column groups 41, 42, and 44. Three adjacent fixed column groups 41, 42, 45; three adjacent fixed column groups 41, 44, 45; three adjacent fixed column groups 42, 43, 45; three adjacent fixed column groups 42, 43, 46; three adjacent fixed column groups 42, 44, 45; three adjacent fixed column groups 42, 45, 46; three adjacent fixed column groups 43, 45, 46; three adjacent fixed column groups 44, 45, 47; three adjacent fixed column groups 44, 45, 48; three adjacent fixed column groups 44, 47, 48; three adjacent fixed column groups 45, 46, 48; three adjacent fixed column groups 45, 46, 49; three adjacent fixed column groups 45, 47, 48; three adjacent fixed column groups 45, 48. 49 and the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5 of the three adjacent fixed column groups 46, 48, 49 respectively surround an area A125, an area A145, an area A235, an area A236, an area A245, an area A256, an area A356, an area A457, an area A458, an area A478, an area A568, an area A569, an area A578, an area A589 and an area A689. When the thin plate 10 is made of a specific material and has a specific thickness, if areas such as A124, A125, A145, A235, A236, A245, A256, A356, A457, A458, A478, A568, A569, A578, A589, and A689 are too large, the risk of the thin plate 10 breaking or shattering when the protective box 1 of the present invention is impacted or dropped will also increase. To avoid the thin plate 10 breaking or shattering due to impact or drop of the protective box 1, the aforementioned areas must be less than or equal to an area critical threshold, where the area critical threshold is related to the material constituting the thin plate 10 and the thickness of the thin plate 10.
[0035] When the thin plate 10 is a glass sheet, the thin plate 10 has a thickness of T cm; there is a distance of S cm between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed post 5 of any two adjacent fixed post groups; an area of A square centimeters is formed between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed post 5 of any three adjacent fixed post groups; in order to prevent the thin plate 10 from being damaged or broken due to impact or drop, the protective box 1 of the present invention is designed such that the distance (S cm) must be less than or equal to a distance critical threshold, or the area (A square centimeters) must be less than or equal to an area critical threshold. Wherein the present invention… The permissible relationship between the spacing (S cm) and the thickness (T cm) in this invention is as follows: The present invention The permissible relationship between the area (A square centimeters) and the thickness (T centimeters) of this invention is as follows: By setting up a plurality of fixed posts according to the allowable spacing (S cm) or allowable area (A square cm), when the thin plate 10 is positioned and fixed between the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the plurality of first fixed posts 5 and the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the corresponding plurality of second fixed posts 6, when the protective box 1 is impacted or dropped, since the first top 51 and the second top 61 are made of silicone or latex and their hardness is greater than or equal to Shore hardness A40 and less than or equal to Shore hardness A80, the first top 51 and the second top 61 will absorb the impact, thereby reducing the risk of the thin plate 10 being damaged or broken when the protective box 1 of the present invention is impacted or dropped.
[0036] For example, when the thickness of the thin plate 10 (glass sheet) is 0.04 cm, the distance between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed columns 5 of any two adjacent fixed column groups must be approximately less than or equal to 20.04 cm, or the area enclosed by the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed columns 5 of any three adjacent fixed column groups must be approximately less than or equal to 200.8 square centimeters. When the thickness of the thin plate 10 (glass sheet) is 0.07 cm, the distance between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed columns 5 of any two adjacent fixed column groups must be approximately less than or equal to 30.48 cm, or the area enclosed by the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed columns 5 of any three adjacent fixed column groups must be approximately less than or equal to 464.86 square centimeters. When the thickness of the thin plate 10 (glass sheet) is 0.1 cm, the distance between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5 of any two adjacent fixed column groups must be less than or equal to 39.83 cm, or the area enclosed by the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5 of any three adjacent fixed column groups must be less than or equal to 793.73 square centimeters. Therefore, when the thickness of the thin plate 10 (glass sheet) is 0.04 cm, the distances between S12, S23, S14, S25, S36, S45, S56, S47, S58, S69, S78, and S89 in Figure 1 must all be approximately less than or equal to 20.04 cm, or the areas A124, A125, A145, A235, A236, A245, A256, A356, A457, A458, A478, A568, A569, A578, A589, and A689 must all be approximately less than or equal to 200.8 square kilometers. When the thickness of the thin plate 10 (glass sheet) is 0.1 cm, the distances between S12, S23, S14, S25, S36, S45, S56, S47, S58, S69, S78 and S89 in Figure 1 must all be approximately less than or equal to 39.83 cm, or A124, A125, A145, A235, A236, A245, A256, A356, A457, A458, A478, A568, A569, A578, A589 and A689 must all be approximately less than or equal to 793.73 square centimeters.
[0037] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. If the thickness of the thin plate 10 (glass sheet) is 0.04 cm, the length and width of the thin plate 10 are both slightly greater than 40.08 cm, and the spacing S12 = S23 = S14 = S25 = S36 = S45 = S56 = S47 = S58 = S69 = S78 = S89 = 20.04 cm, then this thin plate 10 (glass sheet) is placed on the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the nine first fixing posts 5 of the first housing 2, as shown in Figure 4. The thin plate 10 has a perimeter 11, and the area of the thin plate 10 is slightly larger than the area of the region surrounded by the center of the first top 51 of the first fixing posts 5 of the eight fixing post groups 41 to 44 and 46 to 49 adjacent to the perimeter 11. Similarly, if the thickness of the thin plate 10 (glass plate) is 0.1 cm, the length and width of the thin plate 10 are both slightly greater than 79.66 cm, and the spacing S12 = S23 = S14 = S25 = S36 = S45 = S56 = S47 = S58 = S69 = S78 = S89 = 39.83 cm, then this thin plate 10 (glass plate) is placed on the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the nine first fixed posts 5 of the first housing 2, as shown in Figure 4. The area of the thin plate 10 is slightly larger than the area surrounded by the center of the first top 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of the eight fixed post groups 41~44, 46~49 adjacent to the perimeter 11.
[0038] Thin sheets 10 made of different materials will have different fracture toughness. For example, some types of glass have a fracture toughness of approximately 0.6 MPa. ( ~0.8 MPa Around 2 MPa. The fracture toughness of silicon carbide (SiC) substrates is approximately 2 MPa. ~5 MPa - Left and right. When considering thin plates 10 made of different materials, it is necessary to simultaneously consider the fracture toughness of the material and the thickness of the thin plate 10 to determine a critical threshold for the distance between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of any two adjacent fixed post groups in this invention, and a critical threshold for the area enclosed by the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of any three adjacent fixed post groups in this invention. When the material constituting the thin plate 10 has a fracture toughness, the fracture toughness is Megapascal- The thin plate 10 has a thickness of T cm; there is a gap of S cm between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed post 5 of any two adjacent fixed post groups; an area of A square centimeters is formed between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed post 5 of any three adjacent fixed post groups; to prevent the thin plate 10 from being damaged or broken due to impact or drop, the protective box 1 of the present invention is designed such that the gap (S cm) must be less than or equal to a gap threshold, or the area (A square centimeters) must be less than or equal to an area threshold. The present invention... The permissible spacing (S cm) and fracture toughness of the present invention Megapascal- The relationship between the thickness (T cm) and the thickness is as follows: And the present invention The permissible area (A square centimeters) and fracture toughness of the present invention Megapascal- The relationship between the thickness (T cm) and the thickness is as follows: By setting up a plurality of fixed posts according to the allowable spacing (S cm) or allowable area (A square cm), when the thin plate 10 is positioned and fixed between the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the plurality of first fixed posts 5 and the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the corresponding plurality of second fixed posts 6, when the protective box 1 is impacted or dropped, since the first top 51 and the second top 61 are made of silicone or latex and their hardness is greater than or equal to Shore hardness A40 and less than or equal to Shore hardness A80, the first top 51 and the second top 61 will absorb the impact, thereby reducing the risk of the thin plate 10 being damaged or broken when the protective box 1 of the present invention is impacted or dropped.
[0039] For example, if sheet 10 is a glass sheet, and its fracture toughness is 0.7 MPa... Furthermore, when the thickness of the thin plate 10 is 0.04 cm, the distance between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5 of any two adjacent fixed column groups must be approximately less than or equal to 20.04 cm, or the area enclosed by the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5 of any three adjacent fixed column groups must be approximately less than or equal to 200.8 square centimeters (that is, (Equation 1) is the same as (Equation 3)). A special case of time; and (Equation 2) is a special case of (Equation 4). (Special cases). For example, if sheet 10 is another type of glass sheet, and its fracture toughness is 0.6 MPa... Furthermore, when the thickness of the thin plate 10 is 0.04 cm, the distance between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of any two adjacent fixed post groups must be approximately less than or equal to 18.55 cm, or the area enclosed by the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of any three adjacent fixed post groups must be approximately less than or equal to 172.11 square centimeters. For example, if the thin plate 10 is a semiconductor silicon carbide substrate, and its fracture toughness is 3 MPa... When the thickness of the thin plate 10 is 0.025 cm, the distance between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5 of any two adjacent fixed column groups must be less than or equal to 29.16 cm, or the area enclosed by the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5 of any three adjacent fixed column groups must be less than or equal to 425.21 square centimeters.
[0040] In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 and 2, the protective box 1 of the present invention can be used to carry and protect thin plates 10 of other shapes or sizes, such as a circular thin plate 10. When the spacing S25 = S45 = S56 = S58 = 20.04 cm, or A245 = A256 = A458 = A568 = 200.8 square centimeters, if the thickness of the thin plate 10 is 0.04 cm, the fracture toughness of the thin plate 10 is 0.7 MPa. When the diameter of the circular thin plate 10 is slightly greater than 40.08 cm, the circular thin plate 10 can be positioned and fixed between the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the five first fixed posts 5 of the fixed post group 42, 44, 45, 46 and 48 and the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the five second fixed posts 6.
[0041] There are many other options for fixing the first housing 2 and the second housing 3 of the protective box 1 of the present invention together. For example, corresponding fastening parts, recessed parts or snap-fit parts can be provided on the first housing 2 and the second housing 3 respectively to fix the connection between the first housing 2 and the second housing 3, or additional fastening parts, recessed parts or snap-fit parts can be used to fix the connection between the first housing 2 and the second housing 3 (in this case, the protective box 1 of the present invention may need to be provided with corresponding structures to cooperate with the additional fastening parts, recessed parts or snap-fit parts). In these situations, the four first positioning holes 24 and the four second positioning holes 34 are not necessary for the protective box 1 of the present invention.
[0042] Please refer to Figures 5 and 6, which are top views of the first housing, second housing, first plate, second plate, first fixing post, and second fixing post, respectively, of another specific embodiment of a protective box according to the present invention. Please also refer to Figure 7, which is a cross-sectional view along section line C-C' of Figure 5 and section line D-D' of Figure 6 before the embodiments of Figures 5 and 6 are combined. Please also refer to Figure 8, which is a cross-sectional view along section line E-E' of Figure 5 and section line F-F' of Figure 6 before the embodiments of Figures 5 and 6 are combined. The main structure of the specific embodiments shown in Figures 5-8 is roughly the same as that of the specific embodiments shown in Figures 1-3. However, the protective box 1 further includes a first plate 55 and a second plate 65. The bottoms of the nine first pillars 50 (without the first positioning part 53) are respectively connected to the first plate 55, and the bottoms of the nine second pillars 60 (without the second positioning part 63) are respectively connected to the second plate 65. The first plate 55 has four first plate positioning parts 54 (four grooves), and the first surface 22 has four third positioning parts 23 (four protrusions; instead of the nine grooves shown in the embodiments of Figures 1-3). Part 23 corresponds to four first plate positioning parts 54 respectively. The four first plate positioning parts 54 of the first plate 55 are detachably positioned on the four third positioning parts 23 of the first surface 22. The second plate 65 has four second plate positioning parts 64 (four grooves). The second surface 32 has four fourth positioning parts 33 (four protrusions; instead of the nine grooves in the embodiments of Figures 1 to 3). The four fourth positioning parts 33 correspond to the four second plate positioning parts 64 respectively. The four second plate positioning parts 64 of the second plate 65 are detachably positioned on the four fourth positioning parts 33 of the second surface 32.
[0043] When any part of the first plate 55, the nine first pillars 50, or the nine first tops 51 needs cleaning, the four first plate positioning parts 54 of the first plate 55 can be separated from the four third positioning parts 23 of the first surface 22 to facilitate cleaning of the first plate 55, the nine first pillars 50, and the nine first tops 51. After cleaning, the four first plate positioning parts 54 of the first plate 55 are repositioned to the four third positioning parts 23 of the first surface 22. Similarly, when any part of the second plate 65, the nine second pillars 60, or the nine second tops 61 needs cleaning, the four second plate positioning parts 64 of the second plate 65 can be separated from the four fourth positioning parts 33 of the second surface 32 to facilitate cleaning of the second plate 65, the nine second pillars 60, and the nine second tops 61. After cleaning, the four second plate positioning parts 64 of the second plate 65 are repositioned to the four fourth positioning parts 33 of the second surface 32.
[0044] In the embodiments shown in Figures 5-8, the first plate 55, the nine first pillars 50, and the nine first tops 51 are integrally molded from silicone or latex; the second plate 65, the nine second pillars 60, and the nine second tops 61 are also integrally molded from silicone or latex. In some embodiments, the first plate 55 and the nine first pillars 50 are integrally molded from silicone or latex; while the nine first tops 51 are separately formed from silicone or latex through an injection or molding process, and then the nine first tops 51 are respectively bonded to the nine first pillars 50. In some embodiments, the second plate 65 and the nine second pillars 60 are integrally molded from silicone or latex; while the nine second tops 61 are separately formed from silicone or latex through an injection or molding process, and then the nine second tops 61 are respectively bonded to the nine second pillars 60. In some embodiments, the aforementioned silicone or latex is an antistatic silicone or latex.
[0045] Please refer to Figure 9, which is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of the first shell, second shell, first fixing post, elastic post, and second fixing post of another specific embodiment of a protective box of the present invention. The main structure of the specific embodiment in Figure 9 is roughly the same as that of the specific embodiments in Figures 1 to 3. However, the protective box 1 further includes a plurality of (nine) elastic pillars 7, each elastic pillar 7 including a base 74, a movable pillar 72 and an elastic element 73 (in this embodiment, the elastic element 73 is a spring). The top of the movable pillar 72 of the elastic pillar 7 has a fifth positioning part 70 (groove), and the bottom of the base 74 of the elastic pillar 7 has a sixth positioning part 71. The first positioning part 53 of the first pillar 50 of each first fixed pillar 5 is respectively positioned at the fifth positioning part 70 at the top of the movable pillar 72 of the elastic pillar 7. The sixth positioning part 71 at the bottom of the base 74 of each elastic pillar 7 is respectively positioned at the nine third positioning parts 23 of the first surface 22, thereby making the nine first fixed pillars 5 (and elastic pillars 7) respectively disposed on the first surface 22 of the first housing 2. When the thin plate 10 is positioned and fixed between the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the nine first fixed posts 5 and the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the nine second fixed posts 6, when the protective box 1 is impacted or dropped, since the first top 51 and the second top 61 are made of silicone or latex and their hardness is greater than or equal to Shore hardness A40 and less than or equal to Shore hardness A80, the first top 51 and the second top 61 will absorb part of the impact, and part of the impact can be absorbed by the elastic element 73, causing the movable column 72 to compress the elastic element 73 downward or return to its original position upward. The structure of the elastic column 7 in Figure 9 is a schematic diagram. This elastic column 7 can be a common elastic column on the market. The top of the movable column 72 of the elastic column 7 needs to be additionally machined with a fifth positioning part 70 (groove) to position the first positioning part 53 of the first column 50 of the first fixed post 5 in the fifth positioning part 70.
[0046] Please refer to Figures 10 and 11, which are top views of the first housing, second housing, first fixing post, and second fixing post of another specific embodiment of a protective box according to the present invention. The main structure of the specific embodiment in Figures 10 and 11 is generally the same as that of the specific embodiments in Figures 1 to 3. However, the protective box 1 includes seven fixing post groups 41, 42, 43, 44, 45, 46, and 47, and the first housing 2 and the second housing 3 are circular, as are the first groove 20 and the second groove 30. When the thin plate 10 is a circular glass plate and the thickness of the thin plate 10 is 0.04 cm, (1) one of the distances between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed columns 5 of any two adjacent fixed column groups (distances S12, S23, S34, S45, S56, S16, S17, S27, S37, S47, S57 and S67) must be approximately less than or equal to 20.04 cm, or (2) the area enclosed between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed columns 5 of any three adjacent fixed columns (three fixed column groups 41, 42, 47, three fixed column groups 42, 43, 47, three fixed column groups 43, 44, 47, three fixed column groups 44, 45, 47, three fixed column groups 45, 46, 47 and three fixed column groups 46, 41) The area enclosed by the center of the first top 51 of the first fixed column 5 of 47 must be approximately less than or equal to 200.8 square centimeters.
[0047] Please refer to Figure 12, which is a top view showing a thin plate placed on the first fixing post of the first housing in another specific embodiment of a protective box of the present invention. The main structure of the specific embodiment in Figure 12 is roughly the same as that of the specific embodiments in Figures 1-3, except that the first housing 2, the first groove 20, and the thin plate 10 are all larger than those in the embodiments of Figures 1-3 (correspondingly, the second housing 3 and the second groove 30 of the first housing 2 and the first groove 20 are also larger than those in the embodiments of Figures 1-3). In this embodiment, the thin plate 10 is a glass sheet with a fracture toughness of 0.7 MPa. The thickness of the thin plate 10 is 0.04 cm, and the spacing S12 = S23 = S14 = S25 = S36 = S45 = S56 = S47 = S58 = S69 = S78 = S89 = 20.04 cm. This means that the distance between the centers of the first tops 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of any two adjacent fixed post groups has reached the critical threshold of the present invention. There is a spacing S1 (cm) between the center of the first tops 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of the eight fixed post groups 41-44, 46-49 adjacent to the perimeter 11 of the thin plate 10; that is, the length and width of the thin plate 10 are both... Centimeters. The maximum value of one of the spacing S1 (centimeter) designed in this invention. (cm). That is, in this embodiment, the maximum value of S1 (cm) is approximately 6.01 cm. If another sheet 10 of the same material (glass sheet) is taken, its thickness is also 0.04 cm, but the length or width of the sheet 10 is greater than... When the thickness is 1 cm, if the thin plate 10 is positioned and fixed between the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the nine first fixed posts 5 and the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the nine second fixed posts 6, the distance between the center and the periphery 11 of the first top 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of the eight fixed post groups 41-44 and 46-49 will be greater than the maximum value of S1 (cm) of 6.01 cm. Therefore, when the protective box 1 of the present invention is impacted or dropped, the risk of the thin plate 10 being damaged or broken will increase. Therefore, if the length or width of the thin plate 10 is too large, more fixed post groups can be set so that the distance between the centers of the first top 51 of the first fixed posts 5 of any two adjacent fixed post groups simultaneously meets the conditions of the critical spacing threshold and the maximum value of S1 (cm), thereby reducing the risk of the thin plate 10 being damaged or broken.
[0048] The protective box 1 of this invention includes at least three sets of fixing posts. The position of each fixing post set is related to the contactable (or non-contactable) area of the upper and lower surfaces of the thin plate 10. Furthermore, the size of the first and second top areas of each fixing post set (related to the area in contact with the upper and lower surfaces of the thin plate 10) is also related to the contactable (or non-contactable) area of the upper and lower surfaces of the thin plate 10. When the thin plate 10 is made of a specific material and has a specific thickness, the critical threshold for distance and / or area critical threshold of this invention can be determined. For example, if the thickness of the aforementioned thin plate 10 (glass sheet) is 0.04 cm, its fracture toughness is 0.7 MPa. At this time, the critical threshold for distance between the present inventions is 20.04 cm, and the critical threshold for area is 200.8 square centimeters. If there is a square, inaccessible area on the upper and lower surfaces of the thin plate 10, with a side length of, for example, 25 cm (exceeding the critical threshold of 20.04 cm), the area enclosed by any three vertices of this square would exceed the critical threshold of 200.8 square centimeters. Therefore, placing multiple sets of fixed posts outside this square (inaccessible area) would increase the risk of damage or breakage of the thin plate 10. Thus, the permissible accessibility of the upper and lower surfaces of the thin plate 10 is closely related to the location of the fixed post sets (first fixed post 5 and second fixed post). Therefore, based on the conditions of the critical threshold for distance between the present inventions and / or the critical threshold for area, the permissible accessibility of the upper and lower surfaces of the thin plate 10 can be designed and adjusted, and the fixed post sets (first fixed post 5 and second fixed post) can be placed relative to these permissible accessibility areas. Based on the conditions of the critical threshold between distances and / or the critical threshold of area in this invention, the number of required fixed column groups (first fixed column 5 and second fixed column) can be minimized.
[0049] In the embodiments shown in Figures 1 to 3 (or Figures 5 to 8, or Figures 10 to 11), when the thin plate 10 is not placed in the accommodating space, there may be no gap between the first top surface 52 of the first top 51 of the first fixing post 5 and the second top surface 62 of the second top 61 of the second fixing post 6 (when the thickness of the thin plate 10 is small) or there may be a required gap (when the thickness of the thin plate 10 is large).
[0050] Please refer to Figure 13, which is a cross-sectional schematic diagram of the first fixing post in another specific embodiment of a protective box of the present invention. In this embodiment, the first post 50 of the first fixing post 5 is an elastic post. The first post 50 includes a base 58, a movable post 59, and an elastic element 570 (in this embodiment, the elastic element 570 is a spring). The first top 51 of the first fixing post 5 is disposed on the top of the first post 50 (elastic post). The structure of the elastic post (first post 50) in Figure 14 is a schematic diagram, and this elastic post can be a commonly available elastic post. The first top 51 of the first fixing post 5 can be disposed on the top of the first post 50 (elastic post) by means of adhesion. The bottom of the first post 50 (elastic post) has a first positioning part 53 for positioning, for example, on the third positioning part 23 of the first surface 22 of the first housing 2.
[0051] Please refer to Figure 14, which is a top view of the frame of a specific embodiment of the protective box of the present invention. Please also refer to Figures 15 and 16, which are respectively top and bottom views of the partition, the first fixing post, and the second fixing post of a specific embodiment of the protective box of the present invention. Please also refer to Figure 17, which is a cross-sectional view of a specific embodiment of the protective box of the present invention before assembly. In the embodiment of Figure 17, the protective box 1 of the present invention is used to simultaneously support and protect a first thin plate 12 and a second thin plate 13. When the protective box 1 is subjected to impact or drop, it can reduce the risk of damage or breakage of the first thin plate 12 and the second thin plate 13. The protective box 1 of this invention includes a first shell 2, a second shell 3, a frame 8, a partition 80, and a plurality of fixing post groups composed of a plurality of first fixing posts 5 and corresponding plurality of second fixing posts 6. The first shell 2 and second shell 3 in Figure 17 are the same as those in Figures 1-3; the first fixing posts 5 on the first shell 2 and the second fixing posts 6 on the second shell 3 in Figure 17 are the same as those in Figures 1-3 (the combinations of fixing post groups are slightly different, as detailed below); the frame 8 in Figure 17 is the same as those in Figure 1. The frame 8 of Figure 4; the partition 80 in Figure 17 is a cross-sectional view along the G-G' section line in Figures 15 and 16. The main structure of the first fixing post 5 and the second fixing post 6 on the partition 80 is roughly the same as that of the first fixing post 5 on the first housing 2 and the second fixing post 6 on the second housing 3 in Figures 1-3. In this embodiment, the height of the side wall of the outer frame 87 is the sum of the height of the side wall of the first groove 20 of the first shell 2 in Figures 1 to 3 and the height of the side wall of the second groove 30 of the second shell 3 in Figures 1 to 3. The four third positioning holes 84 of the outer frame 87 correspond to the four first positioning holes 24 of the first shell 2 and the four second positioning holes 34 of the second shell 3, respectively. Four long screws (not shown in the figure) are passed through the four first positioning holes 24, the four third positioning holes 84 and the four second positioning holes 34 of the outer frame 87, respectively, and then locked with four nuts (not shown in the figure) to fix the connection between the first housing 2, the outer frame 87 and the second housing 3. The accommodating space is defined by the first surface 22, the second surface 32 and a side surface, the side surface including one of the inner surfaces of the outer frame 87, and the accommodating space including the hollow portion 83 of the outer frame 87.
[0066] In some embodiments, the protective box 1 of Figures 5-8 (or Figures 10-11, or Figures 15-17, or Figures 18-21, or Figure 22) further includes an outer frame 87, and the first housing 2 of Figures 5-8 (or Figures 10-11, or Figures 15-17, or Figures 18-21, or Figure 22) does not have a first groove 20 and a first opening 21 (as shown in the first housing 2 of Figure 24), and Figures 5-8 (or Figures 10-11, or Figures 18-21, or Figure 22) do not have a first groove 20 and a first opening 21. The second housing 3 shown in Figures 5-17, or Figures 18-21, or Figure 22 does not have a second groove 30 and a second opening 31 (as shown in Figure 24). The height of the sidewall of the outer frame 87 shown in Figures 5-8 (or Figures 10-11, or Figures 15-17, or Figures 18-21, or Figure 22) is used to compensate for the insufficient height of the sidewall of the first groove 20 of the original first housing 2 and the sidewall of the second groove 30 of the second housing 3. For example, the height of the sidewall of the outer frame 87 shown in Figure 24 is the sum of the height of the sidewall of the first groove 20 of the first housing 2 in Figures 1-3 and the height of the sidewall of the second groove 30 of the second housing 3 in Figures 1-3.
[0067] In the embodiments shown in Figures 1-3 (or Figures 5-8, or Figures 10-11, or Figure 23), a sealing strip can be provided between the first housing 2 and the second housing 3 to form an airtight space. In the embodiments shown in Figures 15-17 (or Figures 18-21), a sealing strip can be provided between the first housing 2 and the frame 8, and a sealing strip can be provided between the frame 8 and the second housing 3 to form an airtight space. In the embodiment shown in Figure 22, a sealing strip can be provided between the first housing 2 and the frame 8, between the frame 8 and the frame 8', and between the frame 8' and the second housing 3 to form an airtight space. In the embodiment shown in Figure 24, a sealing strip can be provided between the first housing 2 and the outer frame 87, and between the outer frame 87 and the second housing 3 to form an airtight space. The aforementioned sealing strip can be installed by adhesive, or grooves for positioning the sealing strip can be provided on the first housing 2, the second housing 3, the frame 8, the frame 8', or the outer frame 87.
[0068] In some embodiments, the second housing 3 has a through hole 25 and a valve 26. In other embodiments, the frame 8 has a through hole 25 and a valve 26. In still other embodiments, the frame 8' has a through hole 25 and a valve 26. In some embodiments, the outer frame 87 has a through hole 25 and a valve 26.
[0069] In the aforementioned embodiments of the present invention, valve 26 is connected to through hole 25. When valve 26 is open, the accommodating space is connected to the outside through through hole 25 and valve 26; when valve 26 is closed, the accommodating space is closed to the outside, forming an airtight space. Valve 26 can be externally connected to a pressure control device (not shown in the figure); when valve 26 is open, the pressure control device can control the pressure in the accommodating space. For example, air can be extracted from the accommodating space to make the pressure in the accommodating space lower than the external atmospheric pressure, and then valve 26 can be closed. When controlling the pressure in the accommodating space, air can also be extracted from the accommodating space first, and then other gases (e.g., nitrogen or inert gases) can be injected into the accommodating space until the pressure in the accommodating space reaches the required pressure.
[0070] In some embodiments, the accommodating space is a non-airtight space.
[0071] The protective box 1 of the present invention comprises at least three sets of fixing posts in the first group 16 (or the second group 17, or the third group 18). Furthermore, the size of the first top area and the second top area of each fixing post set in the first group 16 (or the second group 17, or the third group 18) (which are related to the contact area with the upper and lower surfaces of the first thin plate 12 (or the second thin plate 13, or the third thin plate 14)) are also related to the contact (or non-contact) areas of the upper and lower surfaces of the first thin plate 12 (or the second thin plate 13, or the third thin plate 14). When the first thin plate 12 (or the second thin plate 13, or the third thin plate 14) is made of a specific material and has a specific thickness, the critical threshold for distance and / or the critical threshold for area of the present invention can be determined. The areas on the upper and lower surfaces of the first thin plate 12 (or the second thin plate 13, or the third thin plate 14) that are permissible to be contacted are closely related to the location of the fixing post groups (first fixing post 5 and second fixing post) of the first group 16 (or the second group 17, or the third group 18). Therefore, based on the conditions of the critical threshold for distance and / or the critical threshold for area of the present invention, the areas on the upper and lower surfaces of the first thin plate 12 (or the second thin plate 13, or the third thin plate 14) that are permissible to be contacted, and the fixing post groups (first fixing post 5 and second fixing post) of the first group 16 (or the second group 17, or the third group 18) that are permissible to be contacted, can be designed and adjusted relative to these permissible contact areas. Based on the conditions of the critical threshold between distances and / or the critical threshold of area in this invention, the required number of fixed column groups (first fixed column 5 and second fixed column) of the first group 16 (or the second group 17, or the third group 18) can be minimized.
[0072] In some embodiments, the number of fixed column groups in the first group 16 may differ from the number of fixed column groups in the second group 17.
