[0001] The present invention relates to an optical lens, particularly to a seven-piece imaging lens. Prior Art
[0002] Optical lenses are widely used by people. How to balance the imaging quality under the conditions of large aperture, large viewing angle, and high relative illuminance is indeed worthy of consideration by those in this field. Summary of the Invention
[0003] The main object of the present invention is to provide a seven-piece imaging lens that can balance the imaging quality under the conditions of large aperture, large viewing angle, and high relative illuminance.
[0004] To achieve the above and other objects, the present invention provides a seven-piece imaging lens, which sequentially includes a front lens group, an aperture, and a rear lens group from the object side to the image side. The front lens group includes a first lens, a second lens, a third lens, and a fourth lens arranged sequentially from the object side to the image side. The front lens group as a whole has a negative refractive power. The image side surface of the first lens is concave, the image side surface of the second lens is concave, and the image side surface of the third lens is concave. The rear lens group includes a fifth lens, a sixth lens, and a seventh lens arranged sequentially from the object side to the image side. The rear lens group as a whole has a positive refractive power. The object side surface and the image side surface of the fifth lens are both convex, and the object side surface and the image side surface of the seventh lens are both convex. Through the above-mentioned refractive power configuration and surface type matching, the lens of the present invention can balance the imaging quality under the conditions of large aperture, large viewing angle, and high relative illuminance.
[0005] In the seven-piece imaging lens as described above, the following relational expression can also be satisfied: 1.6 < (2 * SD2) / R2 < 1.85; where SD2 is the height in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis at the maximum viewing angle on the image side surface of the first lens, and R2 is the radius of curvature of the image side surface of the first lens; thereby, the viewing angle can be increased.
[0006] In the seven-piece imaging lens as described above, the following relational expression can also be satisfied: 1.3 < SD4 / SAG4 < 1.6; where SD4 is the height in the direction perpendicular to the optical axis at the maximum viewing angle on the image side surface of the second lens, and SAG4 is the distance in the direction parallel to the optical axis between the intersection point of the image side surface of the second lens on the optical axis and the maximum viewing angle of the image side surface of the second lens; thereby, the system distortion can be corrected.
[0007] In the seven-piece imaging lens as described above, the following relational expression can also be satisfied: 0.3 < F / F4 < 0.6, where F is the system focal length of the seven-piece imaging lens and F4 is the focal length of the fourth lens; thereby, the influence of temperature on the system can be corrected.
[0008] In the seven-piece imaging lens as described above, the following relational expression can also be satisfied: 3.5 < (T9 / MNG5) * (MNG6 / T11) < 6.5, where MNG5 is the thickness at the maximum viewing angle of the fifth lens, MNG6 is the thickness at the maximum viewing angle of the sixth lens, T9 is the thickness of the fifth lens on the optical axis, and T11 is the thickness of the sixth lens on the optical axis; by the surface type matching of the fifth and sixth lenses, the system astigmatism can be corrected.
[0009] In the seven-piece imaging lens as described above, the following relational expression can also be satisfied: 10 < T7 / (T6 + T8) < 22, where T7 is the thickness of the fourth lens on the optical axis, T6 is the gap on the optical axis between the third and fourth lenses, and T8 is the gap on the optical axis between the fourth and fifth lenses; thereby, the system aberration can be corrected.
[0010] In the seven-piece imaging lens as described above, the following relational expression can also be satisfied: 2 < MNG6 / T11 < 4.5, where MNG6 is the thickness at the maximum viewing angle of the sixth lens and T11 is the thickness of the sixth lens on the optical axis; thereby, the spherical aberration of the rear lens group can be balanced and the imaging quality can be improved.
[0011] In the seven-piece imaging lens as described above, the following relational expression can also be satisfied: 1 mm < |SAG14| < 2 mm, where SAG14 is the distance in the direction parallel to the optical axis between the intersection of the image side surface of the seventh lens on the optical axis and the maximum viewing angle of the image side surface of the seventh lens; thereby, the problem of stray light can be improved. [0027] Please refer to Figure 1, which illustrates the first embodiment of the present invention. The seven-element imaging lens, along the optical axis L from object side A to image side B, sequentially includes a first lens 10, a second lens 20, a third lens 30, a fourth lens 40, an aperture ST, a fifth lens 50, a sixth lens 60, and a seventh lens 70. A CCD, CMOS, or other photosensitive element (not shown) is located at image side B. A filter and / or protective glass, or other flat lens 80, may be provided between the photosensitive element and the seventh lens 70. The number of flat lens 80 can be increased, decreased, or omitted as needed. The first lens 10, second lens 20, third lens 30, and fourth lens 40 constitute a front lens group G1, which has negative refractive power. The fifth lens 50, sixth lens 60, and seventh lens 70 constitute a rear lens group G2, which has positive refractive power.
[0028] First, it should be stated that in this article, when the center of a surface is closer to the image side than the surface itself, the radius of curvature of the surface is positive; conversely, when the center of a surface is closer to the object side than the surface itself, the radius of curvature of the surface is negative. Unless otherwise stated, the concave and convex shapes and radii of curvature of the "object side" and "image side" refer to the surface shape and radius of curvature of the surface at the optical axis L.
[0029] In the first embodiment of the present invention, the first lens 10 has negative refractive power, its object side is convex and its image side is concave, and its surface shape helps to increase the system's viewing angle.
[0030] The second lens 20 has negative refractive power, with its object side being convex and its image side being concave.
[0031] The third lens 30 has negative refractive power, and both its object side and image side are concave. Its combination with the second lens 20 can correct distortion.
[0032] The fourth lens 40 has positive refractive power, with a convex object side and a concave image side, which can correct the effect of temperature on the system.
[0033] The fifth lens 50 has positive refractive power, and both its object side and image side are convex.
[0034] The sixth lens 60 has negative refractive power, its object side is concave and its image side is convex, and its combination with the fifth lens 50 can correct astigmatism.
[0035] The seventh lens 70 has positive refractive power, and both its object side and image side are convex, which can correct stray light in the system.
[0036] In this embodiment, the first and fourth lenses are made of glass, while the second, third, fifth, sixth, and seventh lenses are made of plastic. Furthermore, the object-side and image-side surfaces of the second, third, fifth, sixth, and seventh lenses are all aspherical.
[0037] The design parameters of the seven-element imaging lens in this embodiment are shown in Table 1 below. It should be noted that the distance value corresponding to the object side represents the thickness of the lens on the optical axis L (on-axis thickness), and the distance value corresponding to the image side represents the distance between the lens and the next lens or the next aperture ST on the optical axis L (on-axis spacing).
