Abstract
Claims
1. A data storage method for remote data management, comprising: Step A: A remote control system sends a remote control command to the data storage device via a second interface module located on the data storage device and independent of a first interface module connected to a host system; Step B: The data storage device executes the remote control command on a data storage area located on the data storage device via a controller located therein; wherein Step B further includes: the data storage device executes the remote control command on the data storage area located on the data storage device via the controller located therein, the remote control command causing the host system to change access from a first data area of the data storage area to a second data area included in a hidden data area of the data storage area via the first interface module.
2. A data storage method for remote data management, comprising: Step A: A remote control system sends a remote control command to a data storage device via a second interface module, which is independent of a first interface module connected to a host system; Step B: The data storage device executes the remote control command on a data storage area located in the data storage device via a controller located therein. Step B further includes: the data storage device executes the remote control command via the controller located therein, wherein the remote control command first causes the controller to delay the instruction from the host system to access a first data area located in the data storage area via the first interface module, and then causes the host system to access a second data area included in a hidden data area in the data storage area via the first interface module.
3. The method as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein step A further comprises: The remote control system and the data storage device perform a mutual security control verification procedure.
4. The method as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein step B further comprises: The data storage device executes the remote control command via the controller located therein. The remote control command causes the remote control system to perform at least one of the following on the data storage area via the second interface module: data protection procedure, data write protection, data reading, and data writing.
5. The method as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein the first data area stores the operating data of the host system and the second data area stores a backup of the operating data of the host system.
6. The method as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein step B further comprises: The data storage device executes the remote control command on the data storage area located in the data storage device via the controller located therein. The remote control command causes the controller to first synchronously back up the operating data of the host system located in a first data area to a third data area located in a hidden data area of the data storage area, and then update the host system using the third data area.
7. The method as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein step B further comprises: The data storage device executes the remote control command on the data storage area of the data storage device via the controller therein. The remote control command includes updating a first data area in the data storage area to the data to be updated, which is transmitted by the remote control system via a second interface module and stored in a fourth data area in a hidden data area of the data storage device.
8. The method as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein step A further comprises: The remote control system sends an encrypted remote control command to the data storage device via a second interface module located on the data storage device and independent of the first interface module connected to the host system. Step B further includes: the data storage device first decrypts the encrypted remote control command via the controller located therein, and then executes a decrypted remote control command on the data storage area located in the data storage device.
9. A data storage device for remote data management, comprising: A data storage area, which includes a data area and a hidden data area; A controller, which is connected to the data storage area; A first interface module is connected to a host system; a second interface module is connected to a remote control system and the controller; wherein the data storage device executes the remote control command on the data storage area of the data storage device via the controller therein, and the remote control command causes the host system to change from accessing a first data area of the data storage area to accessing a second data area included in a hidden data area of the data storage area via the first interface module.
10. A data storage device for remote data management, comprising: A data storage area, which includes a data area and a hidden data area; A controller, which is connected to the data storage area; A first interface module is connected to a host system; a second interface module is connected to a remote control system and the controller; wherein the data storage device executes the remote control command via the controller located therein, the remote control command first causing the controller to delay the instruction from the host system to access a first data area located in the data storage area via the first interface module, and then causing the host system to access a second data area included in a hidden data area in the data storage area via the first interface module.
