Abstract

A ball-clamping control handle structure for a vehicle carrier includes a fixed base, a control handle, and a control unit. The fixed base houses a ball-clamping assembly for holding a trailer ball and has a shaft connection at its upper end. The control handle is shaft-connected to the shaft connection of the fixed base, controlling the clamping or releasing of the ball-clamping assembly. The control unit is located at the front end of the main member and has a hollow structure and an inclined surface. A window on the inclined surface displays the locking status of the hook. The hook is driven by a locking cylinder, and its engaging end can be fixed or detached from the positioning part of the fixed base. When the hook is locked, the display surface is visible in the window, confirming the fixed status. When the locking cylinder is rotated to unlock, the engaging end of the hook disengages from the positioning part, the display surface is no longer visible in the window, and a torsion spring causes the hook to rebound, facilitating subsequent operations. Through the window design and spring rebound mechanism, the safety and convenience of the fixing mechanism are improved, making it suitable for the quick installation and removal of trailer balls.

Claims

1. A vehicle carrier ball-clamping control handle structure, comprising: a fixed base, wherein a ball-clamping assembly is disposed within the fixed base to clamp and fix a trailer ball, and the upper end of the fixed base is provided with a triangular shaft connection portion; a control handle, the control handle being axially connected to the shaft connection portion of the fixed base, and the control handle controlling the ball-clamping assembly to clamp or release the trailer ball; characterized in that: the control handle has a side bar on each side of a main member, and the front end of each side bar is provided with a triangular pivot portion corresponding to the shaft connection portion; A control unit is attached to the front end of the main rod. The control unit is a hollow structural component with an inclined surface and a through window. The lower end of the inclined surface has a mounting hole. A hook and a torsion spring are mounted on the front end of the main rod. The mounting hole provides a locking cylinder assembly. The hook and torsion spring are coaxially connected, and the hook rotates under the drive of the locking cylinder. In addition, the front end of the inclined surface has an abutment wall for the torsion spring to abut and be positioned. The lower end of the hook has a fastening end, which is fixed or separated from a positioning part of the fixing base. The upper end of the hook is bent to form a display surface. When the mounting bracket locks the trailer ball in position, the latching end of the hook is engaged with the positioning part. By rotating the locking cylinder, the hook position is locked, and the display surface can be directly viewed through the window, confirming that the hook position is locked. To unlock, rotate the locking cylinder so that the latching end of the hook separates from the positioning part. In this state, the display surface cannot be seen through the window. When the locking cylinder is released, the hook rebounds due to the elasticity of the torsion spring, making it ready for subsequent fixing.

2. The frame-mounted ball-grip control grip structure as described in claim 1, wherein, The visible surface of the hook is further coated with color.

3. The frame-mounted ball-grip control grip structure as described in claim 1, wherein, The control unit has a sleeve at its rear end, which is used to cover the main member.

4. The frame-mounted ball-grip control grip structure as described in claim 1, wherein, A triangular washer is provided between the shaft connection part of the fixed seat and the pivot parts.
