Abstract

An optical projection module and electronic device are disclosed. The optical projection module includes a light source assembly, a lens assembly, and a lens lens assembly arranged sequentially along the light emission direction. The light source assembly includes a first light-emitting area and a second light-emitting area that can be controlled independently. The lens assembly includes multiple lens units, each lens unit corresponding to and covering one of the first light-emitting areas but not covering the second light-emitting area. The lens units are used to change the divergence angle of the light beam emitted from the first light-emitting area. The lens assembly is used to make the light beam passing through the lens units and the light beam not passing through the lens units present a specific pattern. The optical projection module of this application can project at least two different light patterns, which are simple and convenient to switch. The presented light pattern has higher precision, a simple structure, and a small size, which is conducive to the thinning and lightening of the module.

Claims

1. An optical projection module, wherein, include: A light source assembly includes multiple first light-emitting areas arranged in an array and multiple second light-emitting areas arranged in an array. Each first light-emitting area and each second light-emitting area includes at least one light source. The first and second light-emitting areas are independently controllable, and the light sources of the first and second light-emitting areas are the same and used to emit dot matrix light. A lens assembly is located on one side of the light-emitting surface of the light source assembly. The lens assembly includes multiple lens units. The projection of each lens unit onto the light source assembly covers one of the first light-emitting areas but does not cover the second light-emitting areas. The lens units are used to change the divergence angle of the light beam emitted by the first light-emitting areas. The light beam emitted by the first light-emitting areas can present a floodlight pattern or a line pattern after passing through the lens units. A lens assembly is located on the side of the lens assembly away from the light source assembly. The lens assembly is used to make the light beam passing through the lens units and the light beam not passing through the lens units present a specific pattern. The light beam emitted by the first light-emitting areas can present a floodlight pattern or a line pattern after passing through the lens units and the lens assembly. The light beam emitted by the second light-emitting areas can present a dot matrix pattern after passing through the lens assembly.

2. The optical projection module as described in claim 1, wherein, The lens assembly further includes a transparent dielectric layer, the lens unit is located on the surface of the transparent dielectric layer, and the second light-emitting area corresponds to the area of the transparent dielectric layer where the lens unit is not disposed.

3. The optical projection module as described in claim 1, wherein, The lens assembly is attached to the surface of the light source assembly, or the lens assembly is spaced apart from the light source assembly.

4. The optical projection module as described in claim 1, wherein, The lens unit covers the surface of the first light-emitting area.

5. The optical projection module as described in claim 1 or 2, wherein, The lens unit is a microlens or a superlens.

6. The optical projection module as claimed in claim 1, wherein, The lens assembly includes at least one of an optical lens, a diffraction element, and a super-lens.

7. An electronic device, wherein, The device includes a housing and an optical projection module, as described in any one of claims 1 to 6, disposed within the housing, the optical projection module being used to project at least two patterns.
