Abstract

A cutting device is provided for cutting a substrate with adhesive backing. The cutting device includes a fixed blade, a movable blade, an oil supply material, and a carrier. The movable blade is configured to move relative to the fixed blade to cut the substrate. When the movable blade is in a starting position, the oil supply material abuts against the edge of a first side of the movable blade, the first side being opposite to the fixed blade. The carrier is adjacent to the first side of the movable blade, wherein the oil supply material is fixed to the carrier.

Claims

1. A cutting device for cutting a substrate having an adhesive backing, the cutting device comprising: One fixed cutting tool; A movable cutter is configured to move relative to the fixed cutter to cut the substrate; An oil supply material is a porous material that absorbs lubricating oil, wherein when the movable cutter is in a starting position, the oil supply material abuts against an edge of a first side of the movable cutter to supply the lubricating oil to the edge of the first side of the movable cutter, and the lubricating oil can overflow to an edge of a second side of the movable cutter, the first side being away from the fixed cutter and the second side being close to the fixed cutter; and a carrier is adjacent to the first side of the movable cutter, wherein the oil supply material is fixed to the carrier.

2. The cutting device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the oil supply material abuts against one end of the edge of the first side of the movable cutter.

3. The cutting device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the oil supply material abuts against the opposite ends of the edge of the first side of the movable cutter.

4. The cutting device as described in claim 1, wherein the movable cutter is a V-shaped cutter or an I-shaped cutter.

5. The cutting device as described in claim 1, wherein the oil supply material is a single-piece oil supply material.

6. The cutting device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the oil supply material extends along a horizontal length direction of the movable cutter.

7. The cutting device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the porous material is made of a fibrous material or a foamed material.

8. The cutting device as claimed in claim 1, wherein an outer surface of the carrier is treated with an anti-stick coating or is provided with an anti-stick layer.

The cutting device as described in claim 1, further comprising: A cover is installed on the fixed tool, the movable tool, the oil supply material, and the carrier; And a light sensor disposed on a lower surface of the upper cover, wherein the light sensor is aligned with a portion of an outer surface of the carrier.

10. The cutting device as claimed in claim 9, wherein the portion of the outer surface of the carrier is black.

11. The cutting device as claimed in claim 9, wherein the cutting device does not perform a cutting operation when the photosensor detects a sensing value that does not correspond to the portion of the outer surface of the carrier.

The cutting device as claimed in claim 9, wherein the cutting device is used to cut the substrate fed from a printing device, and the printing device suspends feeding the substrate to the cutting device when the photosensor detects a sensing value that does not correspond to the portion of the outer surface of the carrier.

13. The cutting device as claimed in claim 9, wherein the cutting device is used to cut the substrate fed from a printing device, the printing device feeding the substrate to the cutting device when the photosensor detects a sensing value corresponding to the portion of the outer surface of the carrier.
