Abstract

This application relates to a method for manufacturing an aerogel. The method includes the following steps: First, a liquid is provided. Then, a plurality of microbubbles are generated within the liquid. Next, the liquid is solidified to create a porous solid model. Then, under sublimation conditions of the liquid, a pair of polyxylene materials are deposited onto the porous solid model to obtain a pair of polyxylene aerogels. In addition to the aforementioned method for manufacturing the aerogel, this application also provides a method for manufacturing an aerogel composite material.

Claims

1. A method for manufacturing an aerogel, comprising the following steps: providing a liquid; generating a plurality of microbubbles in the liquid; solidifying the liquid to generate a porous solid model; and simultaneously depositing a pair of polyxylene materials on the porous solid model under a sublimation condition of the liquid to gradually replace the porous solid model, thereby obtaining a pair of polyxylene aerogels.

2. The method for manufacturing the aerogel as described in claim 1, wherein, The porosity of this polyxylene aerogel is greater than 90%.

3. A method for manufacturing an aerogel as described in claim 1, wherein, The liquid system is water, ethanol, or a mixture thereof.

4. A method for manufacturing an aerogel as described in claim 1, wherein, The step of depositing the poly(xylene) material onto the porous solid model to obtain the poly(xylene) aerogel under the sublimation conditions of the liquid is to deposit the poly(xylene) material onto the porous solid model using chemical vapor deposition technology.

5. A method for manufacturing an aerogel as described in claim 1, wherein, The step of generating the plurality of microbubbles in the liquid is to inject a gas into the liquid under pressure.

6. A method for manufacturing an aerogel as described in claim 5, wherein, The gas system is air.

7. A method for manufacturing an aerogel as described in claim 1, wherein, Prior to the step of generating the plurality of microbubbles in the liquid, a surfactant is injected into the liquid.

8. A method for manufacturing an aerogel as described in claim 1, wherein, The step of solidifying the liquid to produce the porous solid model is to use liquid nitrogen to cool the liquid to produce the porous solid model.

9. A method for manufacturing an aerogel composite material, comprising the following steps: providing a liquid; mixing a powder material into the liquid; generating a plurality of microbubbles in the liquid; solidifying the liquid to generate a porous solid model; and simultaneously depositing a pair of polyxylene materials onto the porous solid model under a sublimation condition of the liquid to gradually replace the porous solid model, thereby obtaining a pair of polyxylene aerogel composite materials.

10. A method for manufacturing an aerogel composite material as described in claim 9, wherein, The powder material is selected from a group consisting of zeolite, zirconium oxide, and copper metal.
