Abstract
Claims
1. A continuous glucose monitoring device, comprising: A housing configured to adhere to a user's skin; A sensing body is disposed within the housing; a probe is adapted to be inserted into the user's skin; A flexible conductive connector is coupled between the sensing body and the probe, such that when the housing is pushed by an external force, the flexible conductive connector is compressed, and the relative position of the probe and the user's skin remains fixed.
2. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 1 further includes a plurality of elastic buffers arranged at circumferential intervals along the sensing body to rest between the sensing body and the housing.
3. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 2, wherein each of the elastic buffers is an annular elastic structure and is configured to produce elastic deformation when the housing is displaced relative to the sensing body by an external force.
4. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 2, wherein each of the elastic buffers has a necked portion, the thickness of which is less than the thickness of other portions of each elastic buffer, to absorb relative displacement between the housing and the sensing body.
5. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the flexible conductive connector is configured to deform under multidirectional forces to absorb relative displacement between the sensing body and the probe.
6. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the flexible conductive connector includes a spiral conductive spring.
7. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 1 further includes a stop plate coupled to the probe, wherein the flexible conductive connector is coupled between a circuit board of the sensing body and the stop plate.
8. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 7 further includes an adhesive layer attached to the lower surfaces of the housing and the stop plate to attach the continuous glucose monitoring device to the user's skin.
9. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing includes a central portion and a peripheral portion surrounding the central portion, wherein the thickness of the housing gradually decreases from the central portion toward the peripheral portion.
10. The continuous glucose monitoring device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the housing has an annular groove configured to engage with an elastic protective band structure to embed the continuous glucose monitoring device in the elastic protective band.
