[0001] This invention relates to an improvement of the connection structure of a smoke exhaust pipe cap, and more particularly to a connection structure that tightly connects the smoke exhaust pipe body and the cap to form an airtight state, so as to prevent oil stains from leaking out and contaminating the cap body and the wall. [0002] Note: To prevent rainwater, debris, or insects from entering the exhaust pipes of general water heaters, range hoods, etc., a cap is usually installed at the end of the pipe. A conventional cap, as shown in Figure 1, comprises a cover body 1 and a tubular sleeve portion 2 attached to the cover body 1. The cover body 1 has a hemispherical cap portion 11 with an opening 111. A flange 12 of appropriate width extends outward from the periphery of the cap portion 11. A filter screen 3 is provided between the flange 12 and the sleeve portion 2. During assembly, the sleeve portion 2 is inserted into the wall hole 4, and the cover body 1 is fixed (by locking or adhesive). Then, an exhaust pipe 5 is inserted through the wall hole 4 and connected to the sleeve portion 2. Because the exhaust pipe 5 is connected to the sleeve 2 through which the conventional cap is installed, it cannot be airtight and has gaps. After a period of use, oil stains will flow out through the gaps, causing the cap body 1 and the wall to be stained with oil stains.
[0003] Another conventional structure, as shown in Figure 2, involves setting the diameter of the exhaust pipe 5 to be the same as that of the sleeve 2. After the sleeve 2 is fitted into the wall hole 4, the exhaust pipe 5 is inserted through the other end of the wall hole 4 and joined to the sleeve 2 in a parallel manner within the wall hole 4. This construction method still suffers from gaps due to the inability to achieve an airtight seal. After a period of use, oil stains will leak out through these gaps, causing the cover 1 and the wall surface to become stained with oil.
[0004] In view of this, the applicant, through continuous research and experimentation, came up with the idea of designing an improved connection structure for the smoke exhaust pipe cap, so that the smoke exhaust pipe body and the cap are tightly connected to form an airtight state, in order to prevent oil stains from leaking out and contaminating the cap body and the wall surface. Summary of the Invention
[0005] The main objective of this invention is to provide an improved connection structure for a smoke exhaust pipe cap, wherein the smoke exhaust pipe body and the cap are tightly connected by the hook part provided on the smoke exhaust pipe body and the fastening part provided on the cap body to form an airtight state, thereby preventing oil stains from leaking out and contaminating the cap body and the wall surface.
[0006] The aforementioned improved connection structure of the exhaust pipe cap includes a cap body and an exhaust pipe body for connection to the cap body. The cap body has a hemispherical cap portion with an opening. A suitable width of flange extends outward from the periphery of the cap portion, and a tubular sleeve portion extends from the flange. An inwardly bent fastening portion is provided at the bottom edge of the sleeve portion. The exhaust pipe body has an outwardly bent hook portion at one end, corresponding to the fastening portion. As shown, the present invention includes a cover 6 and a smoke exhaust pipe 7 connected to the cover 6. The cover 6 has a hemispherical cap 61 with an opening 611. A flange 62 of appropriate width extends outward from the periphery of the cap, and a tubular sleeve 63 extends from the flange 62. A fastening part 64 that bends inward is provided at the bottom edge of the sleeve 63. In this embodiment, a filter screen 65 is provided between the cap 61 and the sleeve 63.

As shown in the figure, during assembly, a wall hole 81 is first opened in the wall surface 8 (the wall hole 81 is approximately equal to the outer diameter of the sleeve portion 63 of the cover body 6), the sleeve portion 63 of the cover body 6 is inserted into the wall hole 81 (the outdoor wall hole 81 end), and then the wall piece 62 is fixed to the wall surface 8 by adhesive or locking. After the cover body 6 is completed, the smoke exhaust pipe 7 is inserted through the other end of the wall hole 81 with the hook portion 71 end. When the hook 71 reaches the fastening part 64 of the sleeve part 63, the hook 71 has an elongated hole 72 extending into the pipe body, which makes the exhaust pipe 7 have appropriate elasticity. Therefore, the hook 71 will retract inward, allowing it to slide smoothly past the fastening part 64. After sliding, the elasticity will restore the hook 71 to its original position, so that the exhaust pipe 7 can be pulled back slightly, so that the hook 71 and the fastening part 64 are fastened together. This allows the exhaust pipe 7 to be tightly connected with the sleeve part 63 of the cover 6, so as to prevent rainwater, debris or insects and birds from entering the exhaust pipe 7. Furthermore, the tight fastening of the hook 71 and the fastening part 65 creates an airtight state, thereby preventing oil stains from leaking out and contaminating the cover 6 and the wall surface 8.

Claims
1. An improvement to the connection structure of a smoke exhaust pipe cap, comprising: a cap body having a hemispherical cap portion with an opening, a flange extending outward from the periphery of the cap portion, and a tubular sleeve portion extending from the flange, the sleeve portion having an inwardly bent fastening portion at its bottom edge, the sleeve portion being fitted into a wall hole in the wall surface; and a smoke exhaust pipe body having an outwardly bent hook portion at one end corresponding to the fastening portion of the cap body; so that during assembly, the smoke exhaust pipe body and the sleeve portion of the cap body are tightly connected by the mutual fastening of the hook portion and the fastening portion to form an airtight state, thereby preventing oil stains from leaking out and contaminating the cap body and the wall surface.

An improvement to the exhaust pipe cap connection structure as described in claim 1, wherein, The exhaust pipe system has a plurality of elongated holes extending from the hook end toward the pipe body, so that the exhaust pipe body has appropriate elasticity to facilitate fastening to the fastening part of the cover.
