Abstract

This invention relates to a hydroxyisosocrine, its preparation method and uses; the hydroxyisosocrine is obtained by catalyzing isosocrine hydrochloride using Bacillus megaterium tyrosinase; the hydroxyisosocrine of this invention has good antioxidant capacity, anti-inflammatory capacity and low cytotoxicity.

Claims

1. A hydroxyisosocrine having the following structural formula (I): Formula (I).

2. A method for preparing hydroxyisosocrine, comprising mixing tyrosinase (BmTYR) of Bacillus megaterium, isosocrine hydrochloride, borate buffer solution at pH 9.0 and ascorbic acid to obtain a mixture, and treating the mixture at 50°C for 1.5 hours to obtain the hydroxyisosocrine, wherein the hydroxyisosocrine has the following structural formula (I): Formula (I).

Use of hydroxyisosocrine as claimed in claim 1 in the preparation of an anti-inflammatory composition, wherein the hydroxyisosocrine scavenges free radicals, inhibits nitric oxide production, and inhibits the expression of inflammation-related genes, wherein the inflammation-related genes include at least one of cyclooxygenase-2, interleukin-1β, and interleukin-6.

4. As described in claim 3, the composition may be a pharmaceutical composition or a health food composition.

5. As described in claim 3, the composition comprises at least one of a pharmaceutically acceptable carrier, excipient, adjuvant, antioxidant, or food additive.
