Abstract

The antenna module comprises a first radiating section, a second radiating section, and a short-circuit section. The first radiating section has a feed point. The first and second radiating sections are symmetrical. The short-circuit section connects the first and second radiating sections. The short-circuit section includes a meandering section, a loop section, and a grounding section with a grounding point. The meandering section connects to the first radiating section, the grounding section connects to the second radiating section, and the loop section connects to the meandering section and the grounding section.

Claims

1. An antenna module comprising: a first radiating segment having a feed point; a second radiating segment, wherein the first radiating segment and the second radiating segment are symmetrical; and a short-circuit segment connected between the first radiating segment and the second radiating segment, and comprising a meandering segment, a circumferential segment, and a grounding segment having a grounding point, wherein the meandering segment is connected to the first radiating segment, the grounding segment is connected to the second radiating segment, and the circumferential segment is connected between the meandering segment and the grounding segment; wherein... The circumferential segment includes a first segment, a second segment, and a third segment. The first segment connects to the meandering segment, the second segment connects to the first segment and forms a bend with the first segment, the second segment also connects to the third segment and forms a bend with the third segment, the third segment connects to the grounding segment, and the first segment is parallel to the third segment. The meandering segment has multiple meandering notches, each of which is arranged along a straight line. The length of the first segment, the length of the third segment, and the depth of each meandering notch are proportional to the operating bandwidth of the antenna module.

2. The antenna module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lengths of the first radiating segment and the second radiating segment are both one-quarter wavelengths of the frequency band in which the first radiating segment and the second radiating segment operate.

3. The antenna module as claimed in claim 1, wherein the length of the short-circuit segment is one-eighth of the wavelength of the frequency band operated by the first radiating segment and the second radiating segment.

4. The antenna module as described in claim 1, wherein the first segment and the third segment have the same length.

5. The antenna module as described in claim 1, wherein the second section does not contact the meandering section and the grounding section.

6. The antenna module as described in claim 1, wherein each of the meandering notches has the same depth.

7. The antenna module as described in claim 1, wherein the meandering segment and the grounding segment are separated by a first distance.

8. The antenna module as claimed in claim 7, wherein the first radiating segment and the second radiating segment are separated by a second distance, and the first distance is greater than the second distance.
