Abstract

A functional muscle group detection device and method are disclosed. Using a chair, base, handles, and sensors mounted on a base, subjects can perform functional movements such as squats, chest presses, and deadlifts, with real-time measurement of the movement parameters generated by the applied force. The parameters received by the sensors are processed electronically and converted into standardized values based on identity parameters (such as gender, age, weight, and height), thereby generating a muscle strength assessment report. This report helps analyze whether the upper and lower limb muscle groups are sufficient to support daily living needs and predicts disability and fall risks. The device is easy to operate, provides real-time image display results, and has historical data comparison capabilities, offering a comprehensive assessment of muscle group function.
