Abstract

An insulating tool buckle includes a buckle body with an opening on the front side. The buckle body is a C-shaped ring with an insulating layer covering a metal core. An opening is formed in the middle of the front side of the buckle body. A buckle head and a pivot portion are respectively provided at the upper and lower ends of the buckle body adjacent to the opening. A separator rod is connected between the portion of the insulating layer below the pivot portion and the portion of the insulating layer at the rear side of the buckle body. The separator rod is an insulating rod made of the same material as the insulating layer. A gate rod for closing the opening is pivotally connected to the pivot portion. By using the structure of the separator rod of the same material integrally connected to the insulating layer, the present invention can reduce the weight of the separator rod while setting the separator rod in the buckle body, making the insulating buckle body with the separator rod lightweight.

Claims

1. An insulating tool retainer, comprising: A buckle body includes a metal core and an insulating layer; the metal core is a C-shaped metal ring, and the insulating layer covers the outer surface of the metal core; an opening is formed in the middle of the front side of the buckle body, and a pivot portion and a buckle head are respectively provided at the lower end and upper end of the buckle body adjacent to the opening; the portion of the insulating layer adjacent to the lower part of the pivot portion forms a first connecting segment, and the portion of the insulating layer located at the rear side of the buckle body forms a second connecting segment; a separator rod is an insulating rod made of the same material as the insulating layer, and the front end and rear end of the separator rod are integrally connected to the first connecting segment and the second connecting segment respectively; a closed hole is formed around the portion of the separator rod and the buckle body located between the first connecting segment and the second connecting segment; and a gate rod is a rod with an insulated outer surface; the lower end of the gate rod is pivotally connected to the pivot portion, and the upper end of the gate rod is fastened to the buckle head and closes the opening.

The insulating tool buckle as described in claim 1, wherein the pivot portion has an insert plate having a shaft hole; the lower end of the gate arm has a longitudinal groove opening downwards, the longitudinal groove passing through the front and rear sides of the lower end of the gate arm, and two pivot holes are formed on the left and right sides of the lower end of the gate arm, the two pivot holes communicating with the longitudinal groove; the longitudinal groove accommodates the insert plate, and the two pivot holes communicating with both ends of the shaft hole; a pivot assembly is pivotally inserted through the two pivot holes and the shaft hole.

The insulating tool buckle as claimed in claim 2, wherein the pivot assembly includes a rivet, a cap, and an end cap; the rivet has a shaft and a head connected together, the shaft passing through the two pivot holes and the shaft hole, the head being integrally connected to one end of the shaft, and the other end of the shaft being riveted to form a riveted portion; the cap is an insulating cover and covers the head; the end cap is an insulating cover and covers the riveted portion.

The insulating tool retainer as described in claim 3, wherein a recess is formed in the rear side of the end face of the insert plate; a spring groove is formed at the axial position inside the gate arm, the upper end of the spring groove being a closed end, and the lower end of the spring groove communicating with the longitudinal groove; a spring is provided in the spring groove, the spring being in a compressed state and its upper end abutting against the closed end of the spring groove; a push rod is provided in the longitudinal groove, the upper half of the push rod being inserted into the spring groove and abutting against the lower end of the spring, the lower half of the push rod being bent backward and the lower end of the push rod abutting against the surface of the recess.

The insulating tool buckle as claimed in claim 1, wherein a pair of grooves are formed on the inner side of the buckle head, and a fixing hook is formed at the lower end of the buckle head, the fixing hook being adjacent to the lower edge of the pair of grooves; a buckle head groove with a front opening is formed at the upper end of the gate arm, the buckle head groove being fastened forward to the buckle head; a sleeve opening and a through opening are formed on the front and upper sides of the buckle head groove, the sleeve opening being connected to the through opening, and a pair of hook portions are formed on both sides of the buckle head groove adjacent to the through opening; the pair of hook portions are inserted into the pair of grooves, and the fixing hook is embedded in the buckle head groove and located below the pair of hook portions.

The insulating tool retainer as described in claim 5, wherein an external thread is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the middle portion of the gate arm in the axial direction; an outer tube is fitted around the gate arm, the outer tube being an insulated tube body with an internal thread formed on its inner peripheral surface, the internal thread engaging with the external thread; the upper end of the outer tube covers the front of the retainer opening.

7. The insulating tool retainer as described in claim 6, wherein an annular groove is formed on the outer peripheral surface of the middle portion of the gate arm in the axial direction, the external thread is closer to the retainer groove than the annular groove, and a C-shaped ring is embedded in the annular groove; a stop ring is formed on the inner peripheral surface of the outer tube adjacent to the lower end of the internal thread, the inner diameter of the stop ring being smaller than the outer diameter of the C-shaped ring.
