Abstract

A Venturi static spiral blade scrubber mainly comprises a tower body and a plurality of spiral blade assemblies arranged vertically side-by-side in the same or opposite directions within the tower body. Each spiral blade assembly has a tubular body with a central column. A plurality of blades arranged radially and alternately are pivotally connected to the central column. Each blade has spaced-apart arc-shaped protrusions, with a plurality of through-holes between the arc-shaped protrusions. A nozzle connected to a circulation pump is located at the top of the tower body, and a Venturi tube is installed at the upper edge of the spiral inlet to accelerate and guide the inlet gas-liquid mixture, reduce vortex swirl, and prevent inlet blockage due to uneven water spraying. This invention is intended for wet scrubbing of viscous granules, insoluble dust, suspended particles, acid and alkali chemical gases, acid and alkali chemical aerosols, and organic solvent aerosols; recovery of hydrophilic high-boiling-point solvents; and recovery and reuse of gases or dust emitted from chemical processes. The exhaust gas containing particulates and chemicals is introduced into the tower inlet, and cleaning solvents are sprayed from the nozzles. The chemicals and dust in the exhaust gas are absorbed and fall to the bottom, where they accumulate in the water storage tank located downstream.

Claims

1. A Venturi static spiral blade scrubber, comprising: a tower body with an inlet at the top and a nozzle connected to a circulation pump at the top for spraying cleaning solvent; a plurality of spiral blade assemblies, each vertically arranged inside the tower body, each having a tubular body with a central column, a plurality of radially arranged and staggered blades pivotally connected to the central column, and each blade having spaced-apart arcuate protrusions, and a plurality of holes penetrating the blades, perpendicular to the blade bodies and spaced appropriately between the arcuate protrusions; thereby, exhaust gas containing particulates and chemicals is introduced from the inlet of the tower body, and cleaning solvent is sprayed from the nozzle, causing the cleaning solvent to absorb chemicals and dust from the exhaust gas, fall from the top of the tower body to the bottom, and collect in a downstream water storage tank.

2. The Venturi static spiral blade washer as described in claim 1, wherein, The tower body is provided with an inward section at an appropriate position near the inlet to form a Venturi shape, so as to guide the flow and reduce the vortex swirl zone, and avoid the inlet from being blocked due to uneven spraying of the cleaning solution.

3. The Venturi static spiral blade washer as described in claim 1, wherein, The blade system is twisted in both clockwise and counterclockwise directions.

4. The Venturi static spiral blade washer as described in claim 1, wherein, The tower body equipped with this helical blade assembly can be connected in parallel in appropriate numbers to form different required air volumes, depending on the dust, chemical substances being processed and their concentration, particle size concentration and particle size distribution.

5. The Venturi static spiral blade washer as described in claim 1, wherein, The spiral blade assembly can be connected in series in appropriate numbers to increase processing efficiency, depending on the type and concentration of the dust, chemicals being processed, as well as the particle size distribution and particle size distribution.
