Abstract

A floating biofilm collection device includes: a housing having a suitable receiving space; a liquid storage tank, which is vertically movable within the receiving space, the liquid storage tank having an opening and a liquid storage space, the opening facing upward and communicating with the liquid storage space, the liquid storage space containing a microbial culture medium; a fiber membrane cloth, which is rotatably and retractably disposed within the receiving space and correspondingly located above the opening of the liquid storage tank; and an electric pressure rod, disposed above the housing and capable of moving up and down corresponding to the opening of the liquid storage tank, wherein when the electric pressure rod descends, it can immerse the fiber membrane cloth in the microbial culture medium in the liquid storage space to generate a microbial biofilm.

Claims

1. A floating biofilm collection device, comprising: a housing having a suitable receiving space; a liquid storage tank, vertically movable within the receiving space, the liquid storage tank having an opening and a liquid storage space, the opening facing upward and communicating with the liquid storage space, the liquid storage space containing a microbial culture medium; a fiber membrane cloth, rotatably and retractably disposed within the receiving space and correspondingly located above the opening of the liquid storage tank; and an electric pressure rod, disposed above the housing and vertically movable corresponding to the opening of the liquid storage tank, wherein when the electric pressure rod descends, the fiber membrane cloth can be immersed in the microbial culture medium in the liquid storage space to generate a microbial biofilm.

The floating collection device as claimed in claim 1, wherein two motorized rollers are rotatably disposed within the receiving space and located on both sides above the opening of the liquid storage tank, and the fiber membrane is wound between the two motorized rollers and is automatically wound by them.

3. The floating collection device as described in claim 1, wherein a lifting rod is installed below the liquid storage tank.

4. The floating collection device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the end of the electric pressure rod is spherical.
