Abstract

A neutron measurement sham includes at least one sham component, at least one sheet-like structure connected to the sham component via a plurality of guide posts, wherein the at least one sheet-like structure includes at least one slot disposed at different positions on the at least one sheet-like structure, and the axes of the plurality of guide posts are perpendicular to the depth direction of the slot, and at least one measuring component disposed in the at least one slot for measuring a neutron beam. Each of the at least one slots has a different shape for accommodating at least one measuring component having a corresponding shape.

Claims

1. A neutron measurement spur, comprising: At least one prosthetic component; at least one sheet structure connected to the at least one prosthetic component via a plurality of guide posts, wherein the at least one sheet structure includes at least one slot disposed at different locations on the at least one sheet structure; at least one measuring component disposed in the at least one slot for measuring a neutron beam; and wherein each of the at least one slots has a different shape for accommodating the at least one measuring component having a corresponding shape.

2. The neutron measurement prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the axial direction of the plurality of guide posts is perpendicular to the depth direction of the slot.

3. The neutron measurement prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the opening of each of the at least one slot extends downward from the upper edge of the at least one sheet structure along a direction parallel to its surface to a depth.

4. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 1, wherein each of the at least one measurement component comprises a sample carrier and a plate.

5. The neutron measurement prosthesis as described in claim 4, wherein the sample carrier is placed in the at least one slot having a corresponding shape through the insert plate.

6. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 4, wherein the sample carrier and the groove of the insert plate have corresponding engagement structures to prevent sample misplacement.

7. The neutron measurement prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the material of the at least one prosthetic component includes polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).

8. The neutron measurement prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the material of the at least one sheet-like structure comprises polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA).

9. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 1, further comprising providing multiple debugging designs to avoid misplacement of samples through a combination of color, markings, numbering, shape, or the above.

10. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 1, wherein the at least one measurement component comprises an active or passive measurement component.

11. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 10, wherein the active measurement component is used for real-time monitoring, cumulative counting, or any combination thereof.

12. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 11, wherein the active measurement component comprises a free cavity, a proportional counter, a scintillation detector, or any combination thereof.

13. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 10, wherein the passive measurement component is used for cumulative counting.

14. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 13, wherein the passive measurement assembly comprises a neutron-activated foil, a film dosimeter, a chemiluminescence dosimeter, a thermoluminescence dosimeter, or any combination thereof.

15. The neutron measurement spur as described in claim 14, wherein the neutron-activated foil comprises gold, copper, manganese, or any combination thereof.
