Abstract
Claims
1. A method of operating a battery communication system, the battery communication system being used to communicate with a plurality of slave wireless communication units via a master wireless communication unit for a plurality of battery units, each battery unit being connected to its respective slave wireless communication unit, the method of operating the battery communication system comprising: Determine whether a specific activation condition is met in one of the wireless daisy chain communication paths of the battery communication system; and if the specific activation condition is met, establish at least one hop communication path between the non-adjacent subordinate wireless communication units, each of the at least one hop communication path skipping one of the subordinate wireless communication units.
2. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 1 further includes: If the specific activation condition is met, at least one broadcast communication path is established in the master wireless communication unit; wherein the specific activation condition is that at least one whisper communication path of the subordinate wireless communication units fails, the master wireless communication unit receives a handover broadcast signal, or the master wireless communication unit receives a handover jump signal.
3. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the signal strength of the at least one broadcast communication path is higher than the signal strength of the at least one whisper communication path.
4. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the signal strength of the at least one jump communication path is higher than the signal strength of the at least one whisper communication path.
5. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the at least one broadcast communication path is a unidirectional path.
6. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the at least one broadcast communication path is a bidirectional path.
7. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the at least one hop communication path is a unidirectional path.
8. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the at least one hop communication path is a bidirectional path.
9. A method of operating a battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the battery communication system simultaneously employs at least one whisper communication path and the at least one broadcast communication path.
10. A method of operating a battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the battery communication system simultaneously employs at least one whisper communication path and the at least one jump communication path.
11. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the battery communication system simultaneously employs the at least one broadcast communication path and the at least one jump communication path.
12. The method of operating the battery communication system as described in claim 2, wherein the battery communication system simultaneously employs at least one whisper communication path, the at least one broadcast communication path, and the at least one jump communication path.
13. A battery communication system, comprising: Multiple battery cells; A plurality of subordinate wireless communication units, each of which is connected to the battery unit; And a master wireless communication unit, which is connected in series with the subordinate wireless communication units to form a wireless daisy chain communication path; wherein if a specific activation condition is met, at least one hop communication path is established between the non-adjacent subordinate wireless communication units, and each of the at least one hop communication path skips one of the subordinate wireless communication units.
14. The battery communication system as described in claim 13, wherein at least one broadcast communication path is established in the master wireless communication unit if a specific activation condition is met, wherein the specific activation condition is that at least one whisper communication path of the subordinate wireless communication units fails, the master wireless communication unit switches to a broadcast signal, or the master wireless communication unit receives a switching jump signal.
15. The battery communication system as described in claim 14, wherein the signal strength of the at least one broadcast communication path is higher than the signal strength of the at least one whisper communication path.
16. The battery communication system as described in claim 14, wherein the signal strength of the at least one hop communication path is higher than the signal strength of the at least one whisper communication path.
17. The battery communication system as described in claim 14, wherein each of the subordinate wireless communication units comprises: Two main transmission antennas, each of which is used to form at least one whisper communication path; And an auxiliary transmission antenna for forming the at least one broadcast communication path or the at least one hop communication path.
18. The battery communication system as described in claim 14, wherein the master wireless communication unit comprises: A primary transmission antenna for forming at least one whisper communication path; And an auxiliary transmission antenna for forming the at least one broadcast communication path or the at least one hop communication path.
