Abstract

A geared indexing plate includes a base, a spindle mechanism, a worktable, a clutch gear mechanism, and a drive mechanism. The base has a support portion, and an installation space is provided above the support portion. The spindle mechanism is located within the installation space, and the worktable is connected to the spindle mechanism. The spindle mechanism is driven to rotate by the drive mechanism. The clutch gear mechanism is sleeved on the spindle mechanism and includes an upper clutch gear, a first lower clutch gear, and a second lower clutch gear. The first lower clutch gear is fixed to the support portion, and the second lower clutch gear is ringed around the outer periphery of the first lower clutch gear and fixed to the spindle mechanism. When the upper clutch gear moves upward axially, the spindle mechanism is in a first machining state, causing the worktable to rotate simultaneously during machining. When the upper clutch gear moves downward and engages with the first and second lower clutch gears, the spindle mechanism is in a second machining state, causing the worktable to be in a fixed state during machining.

Claims

1. A toothed indexing plate, comprising: a base having a support portion, the support portion having an axially extending mounting space above it; a spindle mechanism coaxially disposed within the mounting space, including a spindle and a spindle seat coaxially sleeved on the outer periphery of the spindle, the spindle having a shaft portion, the shaft portion having a shaft head coaxially disposed at an end opposite to the support portion, the outer diameter of the shaft head being larger than the outer diameter of the shaft portion; and a worktable assembled to the spindle mechanism for placing workpieces. A clutch mechanism, coaxially sleeved on the shaft portion between the shaft head and the bearing portion, includes an upper clutch tooth, a first lower clutch tooth, and a second lower clutch tooth. The first lower clutch tooth is fixed to the bearing portion, and the second lower clutch tooth is annularly disposed around the outer periphery of the first lower clutch tooth and locked to the bottom of the spindle seat. The upper clutch tooth is movably disposed above the first lower clutch tooth and the second lower clutch tooth along the shaft portion. A drive mechanism is connected to the spindle mechanism for driving the spindle mechanism to rotate. The spindle head forms a stepped portion by radially inwardly tapering on one side adjacent to the shaft portion. The outer diameter of the stepped portion is greater than the outer diameter of the shaft portion but smaller than the outer diameter of the spindle head. The upper clutch tooth protrudes radially toward the shaft portion with a convex portion. An oil passage space is formed between the convex portion and the stepped portion, and a reset space is formed between the upper clutch tooth and the first lower clutch tooth. The oil passage space is connected to the outside, and multiple reset springs are provided in the reset space. The upper clutch tooth selectively moves upward along the shaft portion, relatively away from the first lower clutch tooth and the second lower clutch tooth. The spindle mechanism is in a first machining state and is driven by the drive mechanism to rotate, so that the worktable can rotate simultaneously during machining. The upper clutch tooth selectively moves downward along the shaft portion, meshing with the first lower clutch tooth and the second lower clutch tooth, and applying a force toward the bearing portion to the first lower clutch tooth and the second lower clutch tooth, so that the spindle mechanism is in a second machining state and cannot be driven by the drive mechanism to rotate, so that the worktable is in a fixed state during machining.

2. The toothed indexing plate as described in claim 1, wherein, The drive mechanism includes a worm and a worm wheel that engages with the worm. The worm wheel is sleeved on the outer periphery of the spindle seat. The worm is driven to rotate by a motor to mesh with the worm wheel, causing the spindle seat to drive the spindle to rotate together.

3. The toothed indexing plate as described in claim 1, wherein, The drive mechanism is a roller cam mechanism.

4. The toothed indexing plate as described in claim 1, wherein, The drive mechanism is a direct drive motor mechanism.

5. The toothed indexing plate as described in claim 1, wherein, The bottom of the protrusion is recessed with a plurality of assembly slots facing the first lower clutch tooth. Each return spring has one end inserted into the assembly slot and the other end abutting against the top of the first lower clutch tooth and fixed in the return space.

6. The toothed indexing plate as described in claim 1, wherein, The volume of the oil passage space is smaller than the volume of the reset space.

7. The toothed indexing plate as described in claim 1, wherein, The first lower clutch tooth is locked to the bearing portion by a screw element that extends from the bearing portion toward the shaft head. The locking direction of the screw element is opposite to the force direction of the first lower clutch tooth and the second lower clutch tooth.
