[0043] Experimental testing methods:
[0044] Arecoline salt is selected from arecoline hydrobromide. The solvent is a mixture of glycerol and propylene glycol in a 1:1 mass ratio.
[0045] The aerosol was drawn using a smoke extractor according to international standards, and the aerosol atomized from the aerosol forming matrix was collected using a Cambridge filter. The mass of arecoline hydrobromide in the aerosol was measured as m1. The mass of arecoline hydrobromide in the remaining aerosol forming matrix was then measured as m2, and the mass of total arecoline hydrobromide in the aerosol forming matrix was measured as m0. The conversion rate k was calculated as k = m1 / (m0-m2).
[0046] The relevant international standards can be referenced as follows:
[0047] CORESTA RECOMMENDED METHOD N° 81, Afnor standardization XP D90-300-3, International Standard ISO 20768:2018 and PD CEN / TR 17236:2018.
[0048] The parameters for using electronic cigarettes are as follows: Puff Duration 3.0s±0.1s Puff Volume 55mL±0.3mL Puff Frequency 30s±0.5s Number of suctions per group (Puff of Each Group) 20 Group Interval Time 300s±120s Maximum Flow 18.5 mL / s ± 0.1 mL / s Pressure Drop <50hPa Group 5 Total Number of Puffs 100 Total Duration of Vaporization 300s
[0049] Suction experience test:
[0050] After aerosol forming matrix is atomized, the inhalation experience can be evaluated from two aspects: first, the user's satisfaction after inhaling arecoline salt; second, the discomfort experienced after inhaling excessive arecoline salt. Through evaluation by multiple users and considering both aspects, different aerosol forming matrices were scored from 0 to 5 points to obtain examples with better inhalation experiences.
[0051] Experimental test results: Example Arecoline salt content (wt%) k Arecoline salt content in aerosols (wt%) suction experience 1 Arecoline hydrobromide 0.1% 89% 0.09% 0 2 Arecoline hydrobromide 0.2% 87% 0.17% 1 3 Arecoline hydrobromide 1% 79% 0.8% 1 4 Arecoline hydrobromide 2% 77% 1.5% 2 5 Arecoline hydrobromide 3% 75% 2.2% 5 6 Arecoline hydrobromide 4% 68% 2.7% 4 7 Arecoline hydrobromide 5% 62% 3.1% 3 8 Arecoline hydrobromide 10% 56% 5.6% 2 9 Arecoline hydrobromide 15% 56% 8.4% 1 10 Arecoline hydrobromide 20% 45% 9.0% 0
[0052] Suction experience test:
[0053] The experimental results show that the conversion rate decreases with increasing arecoline hydrobromide content in the aerosol-forming matrix. Even when the arecoline hydrobromide content in the aerosol-forming matrix reaches 15%, the conversion rate remains above 50%. Furthermore, different arecoline hydrobromide contents in the aerosol-forming matrix result in varying arecoline salt content and different inhalation experiences. When the arecoline salt content in the aerosol-forming matrix is below 0.2%, inhalers do not experience the satisfaction derived from arecoline intake; as the content increases, the satisfaction improves; above 5%, discomfort from arecoline salt intake begins to appear, and under experimental conditions, this discomfort gradually increases with increasing content; above 15%, the discomfort becomes unacceptable.

[0099] Select solid residue from areca nut extract, soak it in water at a temperature of 60-80℃ for 0.5-2 hours, filter it, and then pulp the filtered solid to obtain a slurry. Weigh 50-70 parts of the slurry and 3-10 parts of the solid binder by weight, mix them evenly, and send the mixed slurry to a paper machine for forming. Dry it to a moisture content of about 10-15% to obtain a sheet substrate. The solid binder can be one or more of carboxymethyl cellulose, hydroxypropyl methyl cellulose, polyvinyl alcohol, rosin, xanthan gum, gum arabic, guar gum, chitosan, pectin, locust bean gum, starch, sodium alginate, and shellac.
[0100] Step 2: Prepare the coating solution.
[0101] Weigh out 1-50 parts of arecoline salt, 2-20 parts of fragrance, and 40-80 parts of atomizing agent by weight, mix them evenly to obtain a coating liquid; wherein, the atomizing agent is a mixture of glycerin and propylene glycol, and the mixing ratio is 3-5:1.
[0102] Step 3: Coat the film substrate.
[0103] Weigh out 25% to 40% of the weight of the substrate obtained in step 1, and spray the coating solution onto the substrate. Let it stand for 40 to 60 hours under constant temperature and humidity conditions to obtain plant slices containing arecoline salt.
[0104] Step 4: Prepare a heated non-combustible cigarette.
[0105] The plant slices obtained in step 3 are made into cigarette sticks according to the specified size. The cigarette sticks are then connected to the filter to obtain a heated non-combustible cigarette containing arecoline salt.
[0106] The heated non-combustible cigarette prepared by the above method was heated using an aerosol generating device (resistance heating). The surface temperature of the heating element in operation was measured using an infrared thermal imager. The test results are shown in the table below. Aspiration time (temperature) Element 1s (°C) 2s (°C) 3s (°C) Arecoline salt 153.1 228.3 241.1
