Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] The present invention relates to an automatic bonding mechanism, and more particularly to an automatic bonding mechanism with constant tension. [Previous Technology]

[0002] Please refer to Figure 1. In an existing automatic labeling machine, a label roll 2 wound into a cylindrical shape is mounted on a feed roller 1. A torque limiter 3 is provided on the feed roller 1, and a patterned or rubber roller 4 engages with the label roll 2. After the roller 4 rolls, it generates a force Fa on the label roll 2 to pull out the label roll 2 for discharge. During the process of pulling out the label roll 2, a torque exceeding that of the torque limiter 3 is required to overcome the constraint of the torque limiter 3 and allow the feed roller 1 to rotate. The force Fa generates a reaction force Fr on the label roll 2. There is a lever arm R1 between the reaction force Fr and the torque limiter 3. The torque generated by multiplying the reaction force Fr by the lever arm R1 acts on the torque limiter 3 to overcome the constraint of the torque limiter 3. The reaction force Fr and the action force Fa will keep the label roll 2 in a taut state. When the label roll 2 passes through an acute-angled edge 5, the label 6 on the label roll 2 will be peeled off for attachment to the workpiece (not shown).

[0003] However, please refer to Figure 2 again. When the label roll 2 continues to be discharged and the radius is reduced, since the lever arm R1 is reduced to the lever arm R2, in order to generate the same torque, the reaction force Fr needs to be increased. Therefore, the force Fa exerted by the roller 4 on the label roll 2 must also be increased, and the tension on the label roll 2 will also increase. When the force Fa increases, slippage is likely to occur between the roller 4 and the label roll 2, causing the label 6 to be misaligned. In addition, when the tension on the label roll 2 is too large, it will compress the adhesive and cause the adhesive to overflow, which can easily cause the phenomenon of overflowing adhesive and sticking. [Summary of the Invention]

[0004] The main objective of this invention is to disclose an automatic bonding mechanism that can provide a constant tension to avoid label misalignment and adhesive overflow caused by excessive tension.

[0005] To achieve the above objective, the present invention provides a constant tension automatic bonding mechanism for mounting a label roll and for bonding multiple labels of the label roll onto a workpiece. The label roll is pulled out into a thin film strip. The constant tension automatic bonding mechanism includes a machine body, an adsorption plate, a working plate, a driving mechanism, and a feeding wheel. The adsorption plate is disposed on the machine body and has an adsorption surface. A plurality of air extraction holes are provided on the lower side of the adsorption surface. The plurality of air extraction holes are connected to a negative pressure vacuum source. The negative pressure vacuum source generates a suction force from the plurality of air extraction holes. The adsorption plate has an inlet side and an outlet side. The inlet side and the outlet side are located on opposite sides, and the edge of the outlet side is an acute angle and is suspended.

[0006] The working plate is disposed on the machine body and has a working surface for placing the workpiece. The working surface is adjacent to the outlet side and is flush with the adsorption surface, and there is a gap between the working plate and the adsorption plate. The driving mechanism is disposed on the machine body and has two rollers. The two rollers are arranged side by side with a winding gap between them. The two rollers rotate synchronously and have different rotation directions. The winding gap between the two rollers is located on the side of the adsorption plate away from the adsorption surface, and the width of the winding gap is less than the thickness of the label roll.

[0007] The feeding roller is disposed on the machine body and located on the side near the entry side of the adsorption plate. The height of the feeding roller is lower than the adsorption surface of the adsorption plate. The feeding roller is used to load the label roll. The label roll enters the adsorption plate through the entry side and adheres to the adsorption plate to cover the adsorption surface and is adsorbed by the suction force. It then passes around the exit side, passes through the gap and enters the winding gap and is driven by the two rollers. When the label roll passes around the acute-angled exit side, the multiple labels can be peeled off in sequence and attached to the workpiece at the working surface.

[0008] In summary, the label roll of the present invention covers the adsorption surface and is adsorbed by the suction force. The suction force is determined by the negative pressure vacuum source. When the two rollers drive the label roll forward against the suction force, the label roll between the two rollers and the adsorption surface will have a fixed tension. The tension can be changed by adjusting the negative pressure vacuum source. Therefore, there will be no phenomenon of label misalignment and adhesive overflow caused by excessive stretching of the label roll due to excessive tension.

Implementation Method

[0010] The detailed description and technical content of the present invention are as follows, with reference to the accompanying drawings:

[0011] Please refer to Figures 3, 4, 5 and 6. The present invention discloses an automatic bonding mechanism 10 with a certain tension, which is used to mount a label roll 20 and to attach a plurality of labels 21 (shown only in Figure 6) of the label roll 20 to a workpiece (not shown). After the label roll 20 is pulled out, it becomes a thin film strip release paper 22 and attaches the plurality of labels 21.

[0012] The constant tension automatic bonding mechanism 10 includes a machine body 30, an adsorption plate 40, a working plate 50, a drive mechanism 60 and a feeding wheel 70. The adsorption plate 40 is disposed on the machine body 30 and has an adsorption surface 41. A plurality of air extraction holes 42 are provided on the lower side of the adsorption surface 41, as shown in Figure 3. In order to remove part of the label roll 20 to expose the adsorption surface 41 and the plurality of air extraction holes 42, the plurality of air extraction holes 42 are connected to a negative pressure vacuum source (not shown) so that the plurality of air extraction holes 42 generate suction on the adsorption surface 41.

[0013] In one embodiment, as shown in FIG4, the plurality of suction holes 42 are connected to a hollow control valve 44, the hollow control valve 44 having an airflow interface 45 for connecting to the negative pressure vacuum source through the airflow interface 45. The adsorption plate 40 has an inlet side 401 and an outlet side 402, the inlet side 401 and the outlet side 402 being located on opposite sides, and the edge of the outlet side 402 being an acute angle and suspended.

[0014] The work plate 50 is disposed on the machine body 30 and has a work surface 51. The work surface 51 is used to place the workpiece. The work surface 51 is adjacent to the outlet side 402 and is flush with the adsorption surface 41. There is a gap 52 between the work plate 50 and the adsorption plate 40. A positioning sensor 80 can be disposed on the work surface 51 near the gap 52. The positioning sensor 80 can assist in positioning or sensing the label roll 20 and determine whether the label roll 20 is in the predetermined position.

[0015] Please refer to Figures 3 and 7. The drive mechanism 60 is mounted on the machine body 30 and has two rollers 61. The two rollers 61 are separated by a winding gap 62 and are arranged side by side. The two rollers 61 rotate synchronously but have different rotation directions. The winding gap 62 between the two rollers 61 is located on the side of the adsorption plate 40 away from the adsorption surface 41 (as shown in Figure 3), and the width of the winding gap 62 is smaller than the thickness of the label roll 20. In one embodiment, the two rollers 61 each have a plurality of straight grooves 611 that are parallel to the rotation axis and interlock with each other, which can effectively increase the force of gripping the label roll 20 to avoid slippage.

[0016] Referring again to Figures 3, 4, and 7, the present invention further includes a motor 63 that drives the two rollers 61 to rotate. Preferably, the motor 63 drives one of the two rollers 61 to rotate via a belt 64, and each of the two rollers 61 is connected to a gear 65, which mesh together. To accommodate the use of label rolls 20 with different thicknesses, the two rollers 61 are rotatably pivotally connected to two roller seats 66. An adjustment component 67 is provided between the two roller seats 66, which can adjust the gap between the two roller seats 66.

[0017] Please refer to Figures 3 and 5 again. The feeding wheel 70 is disposed on the machine body 30 and located on the side near the entry side 401 of the adsorption plate 40. The height of the feeding wheel 70 is lower than the adsorption surface 41 of the adsorption plate 40. The feeding wheel 70 is used to load the label roll 20. The label roll 20 enters the adsorption plate 40 via the entry side 401 and adheres to the adsorption plate 40 to cover the adsorption surface 41 and is adsorbed by the suction force. In one embodiment, the adsorption surface 41 has two side regions 403 on both sides. The two side regions 403 are connected to the entry side 401 and the exit side 402. Each of the two side regions 403 is provided with a limiting block 46. When the suction force is lost, the two limiting blocks 46 can hold the label roll 20 to prevent the label roll 20 from floating upward and directly detaching from the adsorption plate 40. Furthermore, there is a gap between the limiting block 46 and the adsorption plate 40 that is greater than the thickness of the label roll 20, allowing the label roll 20 to pass through.

[0018] The label roll 20 passes around the exit side 402, through the gap 52, and enters the winding gap 62, where it is driven by the two rollers 61. As the label roll 20 passes around the acute-angled exit side 402, as shown in Figure 6, the plurality of labels 21 can be peeled off sequentially and attached to the workpiece at the working surface 51. After the label roll 20 peels off the plurality of labels 21, the remaining release paper 22 is discharged from below. Preferably, the discharged release paper 22 is wound on a receiving wheel (not shown).

[0019] As shown in Figure 7, in actual use, the label roll 20 may be misaligned due to improper installation, uneven thickness, external interference, etc., resulting in different tensions on both sides. Therefore, the two ends of the two rollers 61 can be pivotally connected to the two roller seats 66 through matching two conical guide rollers 68. When the tensions on both sides of the label roll 20 are different, the conical guide rollers 68 will tilt. The conical guide rollers 68 can change the tension by tilting to change the roller diameter, thereby producing an automatic guiding effect.

[0020] In summary, the present invention has the following characteristics:

[0021] 1. In this invention, the label roll covers the adsorption surface and is adsorbed by the suction force. When the two rollers drive the label roll forward against the suction force, the label roll between the two rollers and the adsorption surface will have a fixed tension. Therefore, there will be no phenomenon of label misalignment and glue sticking due to excessive stretching of the label roll caused by excessive tension.

[0022] 2. The suction force is determined by the negative pressure vacuum source, so the tension can be changed by adjusting the negative pressure vacuum source to meet the usage requirements of different tensions.

[0023] 3. The two rollers are designed with a plurality of straight grooves, which are parallel to the rotation axis and interlock with each other, so as to reliably grip the label roll and prevent slippage.

[0024] 4. Two limiting blocks are provided on the two sides of the adsorption plate to prevent the label roll from falling off and causing danger when the suction is extinguished.

[0025] 5. The offset of the label roll is automatically corrected by setting the two conical guide wheels. [Simplified Explanation of the Diagram]
