Abstract
Description
Technical Field
[0001] An asset transfer operation system, particularly an asset transfer operation system for managing asset transfer operations. Prior Technology
[0002] In banks and large enterprises, asset management is an extremely important and complex task, especially when internal asset transfers are required. In banking institutions, the head office and branches are separate legal entities, and asset transfers are typically handled by the head office's property management department. Therefore, when equipment (such as ATMs, card readers, computer equipment, etc.) or other movable and fixed assets are transferred between branches, these assets usually have high value and are crucial to daily operations. However, current bank asset management systems often face the following problems when handling such transfers.
[0003] First, the existing asset management system relies heavily on manual input and operations. When assets are transferred between branches, staff need to manually enter the asset number, confirm the information of the transferring and receiving branches, and manually generate transfer documents. These operations are not only time-consuming but may also lead to input errors or omissions due to the large amount of data processing.
[0004] Secondly, asset transfers often involve a large amount of transfer documentation, which may come from different departments or branches and be in different formats. For example, some branches may submit asset transfer lists in Excel format, while others may use paper documents. Existing systems typically cannot automatically process these different formats of data. Personnel must manually input paper documents into the system or transcribe the contents of electronic files into the system, which significantly increases workload and raises the risk of data entry errors.
[0005] Furthermore, existing systems lack sufficient auditing mechanisms for the transfer of high-value assets (such as ATMs and card readers), failing to provide additional protection or alerts based on the asset's importance. For example, when high-value assets are transferred, the system cannot automatically perform double verification or generate audit reports, making it prone to oversights or mismanagement during the transfer process.
[0006] Finally, generating reports and processing accounts after the asset transfer is completed is also a major challenge. Existing systems usually cannot automatically generate detailed and accurate asset transfer reports. Personnel in charge must verify the data and manually output the reports, which not only increases the operational burden but may also lead to errors or delays in accounting, thereby affecting the transparency and accuracy of asset management.
[0007] Therefore, how to develop an asset transfer operation system that can solve the above problems has become a problem to be solved in the relevant technical field. Summary of the Invention

Simple Explanation of the Diagram
[0019] To make the above-described techniques and other objects, features, advantages, and embodiments of the present invention more apparent and understandable, the accompanying drawings are described below: Figure 1 is a schematic diagram of the architecture of an asset transfer operation system according to one embodiment of the present invention. Figure 2 is a flowchart illustrating an asset transfer operation system according to one embodiment of the present invention. Implementation
[0020] To illustrate the various embodiments of the present invention in more detail, the following description is provided with reference to the accompanying drawings. It should be understood that when an element is referred to as "connected" or "disposed" on another element, it may indicate that the element is directly located on the other element, or that there may also be an intermediate element connecting the element to the other element. Conversely, when an element is referred to as "directly on another element" or "directly connected to another element," it is understood that this explicitly defines the absence of an intermediate element.
[0021] Referring to Figure 1, according to one embodiment, the present invention provides an asset transfer operation system 100, particularly for asset transfer operations within banks or large organizations, aiming to solve the problems of cumbersome operations, inconsistent data, and high risk of transfer errors faced in traditional asset transfer processes. The asset transfer operation system 100 can automatically process asset transfer requests from different branches, supports multiple data formats (such as Excel or paper documents), and improves the efficiency and accuracy of the transfer process by automatically identifying asset numbers, automatically generating transfer documents, and performing dual verification for high-value assets. The asset transfer operation system 100 is installed within a bank mainframe server and includes a communication module 110, an information processing module 120, and an verification processing module 130.
[0022] Communication module 110 connects multiple branch mainframes 170, multiple audit personnel devices 180, and a financial system 190, responsible for the real-time transmission and sharing of data among the parties during asset transfer. This communication module 110 receives multiple asset transfer messages (as shown in Table 1) from different branch mainframes 170. These messages include detailed information for each asset, such as asset number, transferring bank, and receiving bank. However, the formats of the asset transfer messages from different branches differ.

[0024] The information processing module 120, connected to the communication module 110, is responsible for processing and standardizing the received asset transfer information. First, the information processing module 120 automatically identifies the asset number in each asset transfer message and formats the information according to a preset transfer operation standard format, generating a consolidated asset transfer document (as shown in Table 3). This consolidated asset transfer document summarizes the asset transfer status of all branches, facilitating unified review and management of all asset transfers by the head office. Second, the information processing module 120 also formats the asset transfer information according to the first column information (i.e., the branch code) and a preset transfer operation standard format, generating separate asset transfer branch documents for each branch (as shown in Tables 2-1 to 2-3), ensuring that each branch can effectively track and record the transfer and accounting status of assets. The standard format for this transfer operation includes key information such as asset number, transferring bank, receiving bank, asset type, and importance to ensure the consistency of all asset transfer information, thereby reducing the risk of manual input and data inconsistency, and facilitating subsequent data processing and analysis.

[0029] In addition, the information processing module 120 automatically identifies the importance of the transferred assets. For example, for high-value assets, the information processing module 120 automatically marks these assets and highlights or specially marks them in the generated asset transfer consolidation document. This marking serves to notify the auditing module that the asset transfer consolidation document requires a dual audit process, meaning it is reviewed by multiple auditors to ensure the safe and error-free transfer of high-value assets. This dual auditing mechanism effectively reduces the risk of errors or management oversights during the transfer of high-value assets, further enhancing the system's security and reliability. For example, if importance is ranked from highest to lowest as A, B, C…, the information processing module 120 will automatically mark assets with an importance level of A as high-value assets. During the transfer process, these A-level assets will be highlighted or specially marked in the generated asset transfer consolidation document. This marking notifies the auditing module 130 that these assets require dual auditing to ensure the safe and error-free transfer operation. For assets of lower importance, such as Class B or Class C assets, a single review process may be required. This prioritization allows for flexible adjustment of the review process based on the importance of the asset.
[0030] The audit processing module 130 is connected to the information processing module 120 and the communication module 110, allowing the multiple audit personnel devices 180 to audit the aforementioned asset transfer consolidation documents or asset transfer branch documents. When the audit processing module 130 receives a marked asset transfer consolidation document or asset transfer branch document, it automatically identifies high-value assets. According to preset rules, a dual audit process is initiated, requiring multiple audit personnel to review the asset transfer. In the dual audit process, the system automatically sends the asset transfer consolidation document to two or more audit personnel, who must respectively verify and confirm the asset number, transferring bank, receiving bank, and other transfer information.
[0031] When an asset transfer consolidation document or an asset transfer branch document is approved, the approval processing module 130 automatically generates an asset transfer approval form and corresponding official documents, which are then transmitted to the corresponding transferring-out and transferring-in units via the communication module 110. These approval forms and official documents serve as the formal approval documents for the asset transfer operation and provide the legal and operational basis for the transfer.
[0032] If the aforementioned asset transfer consolidation document or asset transfer branch document fails the review, the review processing module 130 generates a review failure notification and transmits it to the corresponding branch host 170 via the communication module 110, notifying the relevant branch to make corrections. The review failure notification will explain in detail the reasons for the review failure, so that the branch host 170 or the responsible personnel can make subsequent data modifications or supplements for resubmission.
[0033] The asset transfer operation system 100 also includes a report generation module 140 and a communication connection review and processing module 130. The function of the report generation module 140 is to automatically generate detailed asset transfer reports (as shown in Table 2) by filtering and classifying the asset transfer approval forms according to preset filtering criteria after the review is completed. Filtering criteria may include, but are not limited to, transfer date range, transferring and receiving lines, and asset type.
[0034] The asset transfer system 100 also includes an accounting module 150, which is connected to the auditing module 130 and the communication module 110. Based on the asset transfer approval form, the module 110 adjusts the balance sheet of the financial system 190 the day after the asset transfer, ensuring that the financial data after the asset transfer is accurately reflected in the balance sheet. Furthermore, the accounting module 150 renumbers the assets to maintain consistency and traceability in asset management, ensuring more accurate management and tracking of assets at their new location.
[0035] The asset transfer operation system 100 also includes an asset transfer database 160 and a communication connection audit and processing module 130 for storing asset transfer approval forms.
[0036] Please refer to Figure 2, which is a schematic diagram of the process of an asset transfer operation system 100 receiving an account query request according to an embodiment of the present invention.
[0037] In step 200, the communication module 110 receives a plurality of asset transfer information transmitted by the branch hosts 170.
[0038] In step 201, the information processing module 120 identifies the asset number of the asset transfer information and processes it according to the standard format of the transfer operation to generate an asset transfer consolidation document.
[0039] In step 202, the information processing module 120 generates an asset transfer branch document for each branch host according to a transfer operation standard format by identifying the first field information of the asset transfer information.
[0040] In step 203, the information processing module 120 identifies the importance of asset transfer information and marks high-value assets in the asset transfer consolidation document and asset transfer branch document for a dual review process.
[0041] In step 204, the audit is checked. If yes, proceed to step 205; if no, proceed to step 206, whereby the audit processing module 130 generates an audit failure notification and transmits it to the corresponding branch host 170.
[0042] In step 205, the review and processing module 130 generates an asset transfer approval form and an official document, which are then transmitted to the corresponding transferring-out and transferring-in units.
[0043] This invention can automatically identify asset numbers, generate consolidated asset transfer documents and branch asset transfer documents according to a standard format, and mark high-value assets to trigger a dual review process. Furthermore, the system can automatically generate asset transfer reports and integrate them with the financial system to adjust the balance sheet and renumber assets, thereby improving the accuracy and efficiency of asset management and reducing the risk of human error.
