Abstract
This invention proposes an ultraviolet (UV) irradiation system, comprising an adjustable multi-wavelength UV light source, a UV light sensing module, and a control unit. Through feedback from the sensing module and adjustment by the control unit, the UV light source outputs a UV light spectrum and intensity corresponding to a preset target. This invention also provides a control method that generates a sensing signal by sensing the wavelength and intensity of the UV light; compares the sensing signal with a preset target, and then adjusts the UV light emitted by the UV light source so that the wavelength distribution and intensity of each wavelength of the output UV light match the preset target. Furthermore, a modular UV light sensing module can be assembled into sensing mats of different sizes for calibrating and monitoring the UV energy distribution of the irradiated area.
