Abstract
Claims
1. A resource allocation method for a sub-job system unit, comprising: The system determines whether at least one virtual desktop has been created on a host system unit, which is used by at least one subsystem to run a desktop environment, a console, or a GUI application; configures resource information for the host system unit and the at least one subsystem unit in a predetermined manner; determines whether the load on one of the host system unit and the at least one subsystem unit exceeds a predetermined level; provides a load ranking of the host system unit and the at least one subsystem unit; adjusts the resource configuration information according to the load ranking, allocating the resource allocation of the unit with the lowest load in the ranking to the host system unit or the at least one subsystem unit whose load has exceeded the predetermined level; and configures a plurality of hardware resources for the host system unit and the at least one subsystem unit according to the resource configuration information.
2. The resource allocation method for the sub-operating system unit as described in claim 1, wherein the predetermined degree is 85%, 90%, or 95%.
3. The resource configuration method for the sub-operating system unit as described in claim 1, wherein the resource configuration information includes a central processing unit frequency (CPU frequency), a memory allocation, a disk allocation, a virtual memory allocation, a Compute Unified Device Architecture Core (CUDA Core) allocation, an Execution Unit Core (EC Core) allocation, a Compute Unit Core (CU core) allocation, an Xe Architecture Core allocation, or a Ray Tracing Core (RT Core) allocation.
4. The resource allocation method for the sub-operating system unit as described in claim 1 further includes: Determine whether the load of one of the main operating system unit and the at least one sub-operating system unit is lower than a predetermined threshold; And if the load of one of the main operating system unit and the at least one sub-operating system unit is lower than the predetermined threshold, the resource configuration information is set in the predetermined manner.
5. The resource allocation method for the sub-operating system unit as described in claim 4, wherein the predetermined threshold is 15%, 20% or 25%.
6. An electronic device comprising: A host system includes: at least one virtual desktop; a resource monitoring unit; a resource configuration unit; and at least one sub-host system, each of the at least one sub-host system includes: a desktop environment; a console; a GUI application; and a composition manager that combines and displays the screens of the desktop environment, the console, or the GUI application on the virtual desktop; wherein the resource configuration unit sets resource configuration information for one of the host system and the at least one sub-host system in a predetermined manner; and the resource monitoring unit monitors the load of the host system and the at least one sub-host system and determines whether the load of one of the host system and the at least one sub-host system exceeds a predetermined level. The resource configuration unit provides the load order of the main operating system unit and the at least one sub-operating system unit, and adjusts the resource configuration information according to the load order. The resource configuration amount of the unit with the lowest load order is allocated to the main operating system unit or the at least one sub-operating system unit whose load has exceeded the predetermined level. The resource configuration unit further configures a plurality of hardware resources for the main operating system unit and the at least one sub-operating system unit according to the resource configuration information.
7. The electronic device as described in claim 6, wherein the predetermined degree is 85%, 90%, or 95%.
8. The electronic device as described in claim 6, wherein the resource configuration information includes a central processing unit frequency (CPU frequency), a memory allocation, a disk allocation, a virtual memory allocation, a Compute Unified Device Architecture Core (CUDA Core) allocation, an Execution Unit Core (EC Core) allocation, a Compute Unit Core (CU core) allocation, an Xe Architecture Core allocation, or a Ray Tracing Core (RT Core) allocation.
9. The electronic device as claimed in claim 6, wherein the main operating system unit further comprises: A resource monitoring unit is used to monitor the load of the main operating system unit and the at least one sub-operating system unit. The resource monitoring unit further determines whether the load of one of the main operating system unit and the at least one sub-operating system unit is lower than a predetermined threshold. If the load of one of the main operating system unit and the at least one sub-operating system unit is lower than the predetermined threshold, the resource configuration unit sets the resource configuration information in the predetermined manner.
10. The electronic device as claimed in claim 9, wherein the predetermined threshold is 15%, 20% or 25%.
