Abstract

This invention provides a wheel rim cover suitable for use with a wheel rim axle, and includes a fixing member and a releasing member. The fixing member includes an annular portion, a first platform portion, and a plurality of hook portions. The annular portion has at least one guide groove and defines an accommodating space. The first platform portion is connected to one side of the annular portion and has a through-hole. The hook portions are connected to the first platform portion and engage with the axle. The releasing member is slidably disposed on the fixing member and includes a second platform portion, at least one guide post, and an extension portion. The second platform portion is disposed in the accommodating space. The guide post is connected to the second platform portion and extends into the guide groove. The extension portion passes through the through-hole. When the releasing member moves relative to the fixing member in a first direction and the guide post slides from one end of the guide groove to the other end, the extension portion pushes the hook portions to separate the hook portions from the axle.

Claims

1. A wheel cover suitable for use with a wheel rim having a pivot, the wheel cover comprising: A fastener includes an annular portion, a first platform portion, and a plurality of elastic hook portions. The annular portion has at least one guide groove and defines an accommodating space. The guide groove includes a first end and a second end opposite to each other. The first platform portion is connected to one side of the annular portion and has a through-hole. The hook portions are connected to the side of the first platform portion adjacent to the through-hole and extend away from the annular portion and engage the axis. A release member is slidably disposed on the fastener and includes a second platform portion, at least one guide post, and an extension portion. The second platform portion is disposed in the accommodating space. The guide post is connected to the second platform portion and extends into the guide groove. The extension portion is connected to the second platform portion and extends away from the second platform portion, and the extension portion passes through the through-hole. When the release member moves relative to the fixing member in a first direction and the guide post slides from the first end of the guide groove to the second end, the extension pushes the hooks to separate the hooks from the axis.

2. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein the second end of the guide groove has a limiting portion adapted to restrict the guide post and limit the second platform portion.

3. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 2, wherein the limiting portion is a plane or a recess.

4. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 2 further includes an elastic member, the two ends of which abut against the second platform portion and the first platform portion.

5. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 4, wherein when the guide post disengages from the limiting portion of the guide groove, the elastic member provides an elastic force to move the second platform portion away from the first platform portion.

6. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein the annular portion includes a top surface on the side opposite to the first platform portion, and the top surface is coplanar with the second platform portion when the hook portions engage the axle.

7. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the hook portions has a first hook structure at one end away from the first platform portion, and the shaft has a second hook structure corresponding to the first hook structure, the first hook structure being adapted to engage with the second hook structure.

8. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein the guide groove is an arc-shaped groove.

9. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 1, wherein each of the hook portions has a first inclined surface structure on the side facing the extension portion, and the end of the extension portion away from the second platform portion has a second inclined surface structure, the second inclined surface structure being provided corresponding to the first inclined surface structure.

10. The wheel cover as claimed in claim 9, wherein when the release member moves relative to the fixing member toward the first direction, the second inclined structure of the extension pushes the first inclined structure of each of the hooks, causing the hooks to deform and thus separate from the axle.
