Abstract

A tape cutter is provided for cutting tape with release paper, and includes a mounting base unit and a cutting unit. The mounting base unit includes a receiving space for accommodating the tape with release paper, and a through-slot communicating with the receiving space, the through-slot being adapted to allow one end of the tape with release paper to extend through and protrude from the receiving space. The cutting unit is detachably mounted to the mounting base unit and is adapted to cut the end of the tape with release paper protruding from the receiving space. This novel design allows for the rapid cutting of the end of the tape with release paper into a sheet, significantly improving the convenience of handling tape with release paper for wrapping and securing flexible tubes such as nasogastric tubes.

Claims

1. A tape cutting table for cutting an adhesive tape with release paper, comprising: a mounting base unit including a receiving space for receiving the tape, and a through-slot communicating with the receiving space, the through-slot being adapted to allow one end of the tape to extend through and be exposed in the receiving space; and a cutting unit detachably mounted to the mounting base unit and adapted to cut the end of the tape exposed in the receiving space, wherein... The mounting base unit includes a hollow base, a rotating seat rotatably connected to the top side of the base, a pivot assembly connecting the base and the rotating seat, a rotating shaft mounted on the base, and two turntables connected to the rotating shaft. The base includes a main housing and a cover plate. The main housing includes a main wall and a surrounding wall connected to the main wall. The surrounding wall includes two sidewall portions extending from the front and rear edges of the main wall, a top wall portion extending from the top edge of the main wall and connected to the top edge of the sidewall portions, and a bottom wall portion extending from the bottom edge of the main wall and connected to the bottom edge of the sidewall portions. The top wall portion has a first recessed groove extending downwards from the top surface, a through groove spaced at intervals behind the first recess and extending vertically, and a pivot protrusion spaced at intervals behind the through groove. The bottom wall portion has an exposed hole extending vertically. The cover plate is detachably fitted onto the surrounding wall. The main housing and the cover plate together define the receiving space. The through slot and the exposed hole are connected to the receiving space, allowing the end of the tape to extend forward from the through slot in an extending direction. The rotating shaft is rotatably inserted through the main wall of the main housing and the cover plate of the base, and is used for the tape to be fitted. The turntables are fixedly fitted on the two ends of the rotating shaft and spaced apart from each other, allowing the tape to be positioned between the turntables. The bottom of each turntable extends out through the exposed hole and is exposed in the receiving space, so that the bottom of the turntable exposed in the receiving space can be turned to drive the rotating shaft to rotate synchronously, thereby allowing the tape fitted on the rotating shaft to rotate synchronously.

2. The tape dispenser as claimed in claim 1, wherein, The cutting unit includes a cutting assembly detachably connected to the rotating base. The rotating base can rotate relative to the base between a cutting position and a separating position. In the cutting position, the cutting assembly is adjacent to the base and can cut the end of the tape. In the separating position, the cutting assembly is away from the base and separates from the end of the tape.

3. The tape dispenser as described in claim 2, wherein, The cutting unit also includes a knife groove assembly detachably connected to the base. The cutting assembly includes a cutting blade connected to the rotating seat. The knife groove assembly forms a receiving groove that can accommodate at least a portion of the cutting blade. When the rotating seat is in the cutting position, the cutting blade extends into the receiving groove. When the rotating seat is in the separation position, the cutting blade separates from the receiving groove.

4. The tape dispenser as described in claim 3, wherein, The mounting base unit further includes a first connector fixedly connected to the base and a second connector fixedly connected to the rotating seat. The cutting assembly of the cutting unit further includes a first plate portion on which the cutting blade is disposed, and a plurality of first attachments fixedly connected to the first plate portion and detachably connected to the first connector. The blade groove assembly of the cutting unit further includes a second plate portion on which the blade receiving groove is formed, and a plurality of second attachments fixedly connected to the second plate portion and detachably connected to the second connector.

5. The tape dispenser as claimed in claim 4, wherein, The first connector of the mounting base unit is a flexible magnetic plate, and each of the first attachments is a magnet. The second connector of the mounting base unit is a flexible magnetic plate, and each of the second attachments is a magnet.

6. The tape dispenser as claimed in claim 3, wherein, The cutting assembly includes a cutting blade portion extending along a cutting direction and a shape defining blade portion, the cutting direction intersecting the extending direction, and a blade receiving groove into which the cutting blade portion and the shape defining blade portion extend to cut the end of the tape into a predetermined shape.

7. The tape dispenser as claimed in claim 2, wherein, The pivot assembly of the mounting base unit includes a pivot rotatably connected to the base and the rotating seat, and an elastic member connected to the pivot and elastically abutting against one of the base and the rotating seat, the elastic member having an elastic force that drives the rotating seat to rotate constantly toward the separated position.
