Abstract

A magnesium-based coating material, by weight percentage, comprises more than 90% magnesium aggregate, 2-3% binder, 2-3% clay, 3-4% calcareous material, and less than 2% fiber. The magnesium aggregate contains 50-100% fused magnesium particles and 0-50% reburned magnesium oxide particles. It can be applied by spreading with only a small amount of water. Its porous and lightweight nature allows for easy application and direct use. Even when exposed to high temperatures in the working environment, causing the crystalline water to evaporate and the organic matter to burn off, it will not crack. This magnesium aggregate, composed primarily of fused magnesium particles, utilizes the property that magnesium does not react to a liquid phase at high temperatures, thus increasing the applicable temperature range and overall structural strength compared to aluminum, effectively optimizing fire resistance.

Claims

1. A magnesium-coated material, comprising, by weight percentage: more than 90% magnesium aggregate, having 50-100% fused magnesium particles and 0-50% reburned magnesium oxide particles, wherein, The fused magnesium particles comprise a first fused section with a particle size of less than 1 mm and a fused magnesium content of 96%, and a second fused section with a particle size of 200 mesh and a fused magnesium content of 95%. The reburned magnesium oxide particles comprise a first reburned section with a particle size of less than 1 mm and a magnesium oxide content of 90%, and a second reburned section with a particle size of 200 mesh and a magnesium oxide content of 90%. The particles also contain 2-3% binder, which contains aluminum sulfate and magnesium sulfate; 2-3% clay; 3-4% calcareous material, which contains lignosulfonate and slaked lime; and less than 2% fiber.

2. The magnesium-coated material as claimed in claim 1, wherein, The binder contains a lower proportion of aluminum sulfate than magnesium sulfate.

3. The magnesium-coated material as claimed in claim 1, wherein, The fiber is polypropylene fiber.

4. The magnesium coating material as described in any one of claims 1 to 3, when mixed with water at a weight percentage of 10 to 25%, forms a coatable paste-like coating.

5. The magnesium-coated material as claimed in claim 4, wherein, When the paste-like coating is heated to 1500~1700℃ or higher and sintered, it forms a porous refractory hard material.
