Abstract

A workpiece clamping fixture is used to clamp a workpiece placed in a receiving groove of a carrier. The fixture includes a base, a clamping member, and multiple side plates. The base is configured to slide within the receiving groove and includes multiple first protrusions, respectively disposed on opposite sides of the base. The clamping member is pivotally connected to the front side of the base and includes multiple second protrusions, disposed on opposite sides of the clamping member. The multiple side plates are disposed on opposite sides of the base and the clamping member. Each of the multiple side plates includes a first guide groove and a second guide groove, which respectively cooperate with the corresponding first protrusion and second protrusion. When the base is driven by an external force to slide along the first guide groove toward the end of the receiving groove, the clamping member first rises and then falls along the second guide groove to jointly clamp the clamping part of the workpiece with the base.

Claims

1. A workpiece clamping fixture for clamping a workpiece placed in a receiving groove of a carrier, comprising: The base is configured to slide within the receiving groove and includes a plurality of first protrusions, which are respectively disposed on opposite sides of the base; A clamping member, pivotally connected to the front side of the base and including multiple second protrusions, is disposed on opposite sides of the clamping member; multiple side plates are disposed on opposite sides of the base and the clamping member, each of the multiple side plates including a first guide groove and a second guide groove, respectively cooperating with the corresponding first protrusion and second protrusion structure. When the base is driven by an external force to slide along the first guide groove toward the end of the receiving groove, the clamping member first rises and then falls along the second guide groove to jointly clamp the clamping part of the workpiece with the base.

2. The workpiece clamping fixture as claimed in claim 1 further includes a plurality of slide bars passing through the plurality of side plates to position the plurality of side plates.

3. The workpiece clamping fixture as claimed in claim 2, wherein the plurality of side plates further includes a plurality of third guide grooves, and the plurality of slide rods pass through the plurality of third guide grooves to position the plurality of side plates.

4. The workpiece clamping fixture as claimed in claim 3, wherein when the base slides toward the end of the receiving groove, the plurality of slide rods move the plurality of side plates closer together along the plurality of third guide slides to jointly clamp the opposite sides of the workpiece and center the workpiece in the receiving groove.

5. The workpiece clamping fixture as claimed in claim 4, wherein the plurality of slide bars are parallel to the long axis of the base.

6. The workpiece clamping fixture as claimed in claim 2 further includes a plurality of support members connected between the base and the plurality of slide bars.

7. The workpiece clamping fixture as claimed in claim 6 further includes a torsion spring, the two ends of which are coupled to the plurality of supports, such that the plurality of supports are adapted to rotate relative to each other.

8. The workpiece clamping fixture as claimed in claim 1, wherein the base includes an inclined end face, which is located on the lower surface of the clamping portion when the base slides to the end of the receiving groove.
