Abstract

[Problem] A baffle unit is provided that can prevent coins from entering the banknote input slot of a banknote processing device and can smoothly feed multiple bundles of banknotes into the banknote processing device. [Solution] A baffle unit (30) installed in a banknote processing device (1) comprises: a frame (35) fixed to the housing (4) of the banknote processing device (1); a banknote mounting platform (31) protruding forward from the frame (35) and forming a banknote insertion port (36); a pair of side walls (39) spaced apart from each other on both sides of the banknote mounting platform (31) and protruding forward from the frame (35); a swing shaft (34) spanning the banknote mounting platform (31) and mounted on the pair of side walls (39); a cover (50) rotatably mounted on the swing shaft (34) between a lower position and an upper position; a rotating shaft (51) mounted on the cover (50) parallel to the swing shaft (34); and a rotating roller (52) rotatably mounted on the rotating shaft (51).
