Abstract

A midsole structure for footwear includes a cushioning element and a foamed elastic element. The cushioning element is integrally molded by three-dimensional printing and includes a top surface, a bottom surface, side surfaces, a plurality of lattice units, and a through-flow cavity. The bottom surface is opposite to the top surface. The side surfaces connect to the edges of the top and bottom surfaces to define the surrounding contour of the shoe. The lattice units are interconnected in a periodically arranged pattern and stacked in at least one layer, defining the top, bottom, and side surfaces, wherein the lattice units are structured by beam members and / or wall members. The through-flow cavity is a continuous pattern formed in the interconnected lattice units and extends from the bottom surface to the top surface, or from one side surface to the opposite side surface. The foamed elastic element is embedded in the through-flow cavity and exposed at both ends of the through-flow cavity.

Claims

1. A midsole structure for shoes, comprising: A cushioning element, integrally formed by three-dimensional printing, includes: a top surface; a bottom surface opposite to the top surface; a side surface connected to the edges of the top and bottom surfaces to define a perimeter of the shoe; a plurality of lattice units interconnected in a periodically arranged and stacked pattern of at least one layer, defining the top surface, the bottom surface, and the side surface, wherein the lattice units are structured by a beam component or a wall component; at least one through-flow cavity formed in a continuous pattern in the interconnected lattice units and extending from the bottom surface to the top surface, or from one side surface to an opposite side surface; and at least one foamed elastic element embedded in the through-flow cavity and exposed at both ends of the through-flow cavity.

2. The midsole structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the foamed elastic element comprises a plurality of elastic blocks spaced apart within the through-flow cavity.

3. The midsole structure as described in claim 2, wherein the elastic blocks are equally spaced in the through-flow cavity.

4. The midsole structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the through-flow trend cavity has a varying shape and size in a cross section perpendicular to the extension direction in one extension direction.

5. The midsole structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the foamed elastic element partially contacts a cavity wall of the through-flow cavity.

6. The midsole structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cushioning element includes a plurality of said through-flow trend cavities, and the plurality of said through-flow trend cavities are arranged in an array.

7. The midsole structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cushioning element includes a plurality of the through-flow trend cavities, and the plurality of through-flow trend cavities are staggered.

8. The midsole structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lattice unit is defined within a virtual cube, the boundary of the virtual cube corresponding to the extreme positions of the lattice unit in the length, width and height directions, the through-flow cavity extends along an extension direction, and the side length of the through-flow cavity in a cross section perpendicular to the extension direction is greater than any side length of the virtual cube and less than or equal to the sum of any side lengths of the three virtual cubes.

9. The midsole structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the lattice unit is defined within a virtual cube, the boundary of the virtual cube corresponding to the extreme positions of the lattice unit in the length, width and height directions, the through-flow tendency cavity extends along an extension direction, and the cross-sectional side length of the through-flow tendency cavity perpendicular to the extension direction is smaller than any side length of the virtual cube.

10. The midsole structure as claimed in claim 1, wherein the midsole structure is located in a heel area of the shoe.
