Abstract

A neutron quality assurance prosthesis includes n prosthesis modules, each containing m slots located at different positions within the n prosthesis modules, and k measurement components configured within the m slots for measuring neutron beams. Some of the m slots have different shapes and depths to accommodate the k measurement components with corresponding shapes. Wherein n ≥ 1, m ≥ 1, and k ≥ 1.

Claims

1. A neutron quality assurance prosthesis, comprising: The system comprises n prosthetic modules, each containing m slots located at different positions within the modules; and k measurement components configured in the m slots to measure the neutron beam. Each of the m slots has a different shape to accommodate the k measurement components of the corresponding shape. The height of each of the n prosthetic modules ranges from 5 cm to 50 cm, and n ≥ 1, m ≥ 1, and k ≥ 1.

2. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the n prosthesis modules are connected through a plurality of guide posts, the plurality of guide posts being connected in series.

3. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the openings of individual m slots extend along the thickness direction of the n prosthesis modules to a depth.

4. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein each of the k measurement components includes a plate and a sample carrier.

5. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 4, wherein the sample carrier is placed in the m slots through the insert plate.

6. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 4, wherein the sample carrier and the groove of the insert plate have a corresponding engagement structure to prevent sample misplacement.

7. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the material of the n prosthesis modules includes polymethyl methacrylate (PMMA), water, tissue-equivalent material, polyethylene, or any combination thereof.

8. The neutron quality assurance spoofing as described in claim 7, further comprising multiple debugging designs to avoid misplacement of samples through a combination of color, markings, numbers, shapes, or more.

9. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the k measurement components include an active measurement component or a passive measurement component.

10. The neutron quality assurance sham as described in claim 9, wherein the active measurement component is used for real-time monitoring, cumulative counting, or any combination thereof.

11. The neutron quality assurance sham as described in claim 10, wherein the active measurement component comprises a free cavity, a proportional counter, a scintillation detector, or any combination thereof.

12. The neutron quality assurance sham as described in claim 9, wherein the passive measurement component is used for cumulative counting.

13. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 12, wherein the passive measurement component comprises a neutron-activated foil, a film dosimeter, a chemiluminescence dosimeter, a thermoluminescence dosimeter, or any combination thereof.

14. The neutron quality assurance surrogate as described in claim 13, wherein the neutron-activated foil comprises gold, copper, manganese, or any combination thereof.

15. The neutron quality assurance prosthesis as described in claim 1, wherein the m slots form an angle with the thickness direction of the n prosthesis modules.
