Abstract

This invention proposes a self-destructing disposable syringe. A locking mechanism is provided on the side of the needle hub near the piston. The locking mechanism includes a linkage deformation part and a locking sleeve part arranged opposite each other. The linkage deformation part can engage with the piston, and the locking sleeve part engages with the locking groove of the syringe barrel. The locking force of the locking mechanism is evenly distributed, preventing the needle hub from retracting into the syringe barrel due to insufficient locking. When injection is completed, the interference between the triangular rib of the needle hub and the piston causes the needle hub to form an inclined angle as the piston retracts, preventing reuse by the user. Simultaneously, a pre-break groove is provided at the rod. After use, when the syringe is pulled outward, the rod breaks when the pre-break groove is parallel to the retaining flange, causing the syringe to self-destruct. The structure is simple and reasonable, achieving the technical effect of self-destruction after a single use. The needle tip remains inside the syringe barrel during self-destruction, preventing environmental pollution and protecting medical personnel or cleaners.

Description

[Technical Field]

[0001] This invention relates to the field of disposable syringes, and in particular to a self-destructing disposable syringe. [Previous Technology]

[0002] Syringes are routine medical devices that are frequently used in medical activities. Since blood is a medium for the transmission of many infectious diseases, reusing the same syringe on different patients can easily lead to the spread of disease and endanger public health. In view of this, countries around the world have enacted legislation to restrict the reuse of syringes, classifying them as single-use medical devices. However, traditional disposable syringes, due to their technology and construction, cannot prevent people from reusing them to save costs. Furthermore, some individuals collect used disposable syringes for illegal profit, wash and repackage them, and then re-enter the medical market, posing a significant threat to the spread of many diseases.

[0003] Currently, syringes are a commonly used medical device on the market. They consist of a needle, a syringe barrel, and a plunger. A syringe comprises a syringe barrel with a small hole at the front end and a matching plunger. When the plunger is pulled out, liquid is drawn in through the small hole at the front end of the syringe barrel; when the plunger is pushed in, the liquid is expelled. The process of drawing or injecting liquid using a syringe and needle is called injection. In China, a large number of syringes sold and used clinically are still ordinary disposable syringes. Because they lack a self-destruct function, they are easily illegally recycled and reused, leading to cross-infection and the spread of disease.

New content

[0004] To solve the above problems, one embodiment of the present invention provides a self-destructing disposable syringe, comprising: a syringe and a plunger installed inside the syringe. The plunger is divided into a plunger head and a plunger body. A piston is fitted onto the front end of the plunger head. A needle seat is provided at the end of the piston away from the plunger head. A locking mechanism is provided on the side of the needle seat near the piston. The locking mechanism includes a linkage deformation part arranged opposite to each other. A locking sleeve part is provided at the extension of the linkage deformation part.

[0005] Furthermore, the cartridge part has a hook structure.

[0006] Further, the syringe includes a barrel body, the barrel body is provided with a chamber, the extension of the chamber is provided with a mounting hole, the inner wall of the mounting hole is provided with a retaining groove, the retaining part is engaged with the retaining groove, and a needle cap is fitted over the mounting hole.

[0007] Furthermore, the needle holder includes a seat body, an annular groove, a hook rod, and a needle hole. The seat body, annular groove, hook rod, and needle hole are integrally formed. The annular groove is located between the seat body and the needle hole. The end of the seat body away from the annular groove is provided with a hook rod. The needle hole is used to install a needle.

[0008] Furthermore, a sealing ring is provided on the annular groove. A preferred embodiment of the sealing ring is an O-ring rubber ring to prevent the medicine from overflowing through the needle seat when the medicine is squeezed.

[0009] Furthermore, the surface of the seat is provided with two symmetrical inward-retracting surfaces, and each inward-retracting surface and its corresponding connecting deformation part form a hollow structure. The design of the hollow structure allows the connecting deformation part to have more deformation space.

[0010] Furthermore, the linkage deformation part is a convex arc-shaped plate connecting hook rod, and the end of the clamping part away from the linkage deformation part is connected to the annular groove away from the pin hole end.

[0011] Furthermore, the piston is provided with an insertion hole near the needle seat. When the injection is completed, the insertion hole is sleeved with the hook rod and part of the linkage deformation part. When the piston moves forward by the force of the push rod, the piston causes the linkage deformation part to compress and elastically deform, the hollow structure becomes smaller, the clamping part leaves the clamping groove of the syringe and no longer engages, and the piston can drive the linkage deformation part to move.

[0012] Furthermore, the inner shrinkage surface is provided with a shoulder protruding from the inner shrinkage surface. The shoulder is set perpendicularly to the buckling mechanism. When the piston moves forward by the force of the push rod, the connecting deformation part is compressed and elastically deformed. The shoulder is locked on the end face of the piston and does not enter the piston interior, thus playing a limiting role for the needle seat.

[0013] Furthermore, a triangular rib is provided between one side of the seat shoulder and the end of the needle seat away from the needle hole. The triangular rib is set opposite to the hook rod. Since the triangular rib cannot be completely submerged in the piston, the needle seat can form an inclined angle when the piston retracts, so that the needle tip is tilted on the inner wall of the syringe. The needle tip cannot move forward with the push rod, thereby preventing the user from using it again.

[0014] Furthermore, a pre-break groove is provided at the rod body, and a retaining flange is provided at the end of the syringe away from the needle hole. When the syringe is used up, the push rod is pulled outward, and the rod body is broken when the pre-break groove is parallel to the retaining flange, causing the syringe to self-destruct, thereby preventing the user from using it again.

[0015] Beneficial effects of this invention: This invention proposes a self-destructing disposable syringe. A locking mechanism is provided on the side of the needle seat near the piston. The locking mechanism includes a linkage deformation part and a locking sleeve part arranged opposite to each other. The linkage deformation part engages with the piston, and the locking sleeve part engages with the locking groove of the syringe barrel. The locking force of the locking mechanism is evenly distributed, preventing the needle seat from retracting into the syringe barrel due to insufficient locking. When the injection is completed, due to the interference between the triangular rib of the needle seat and the piston, the needle seat forms an inclined angle as the piston retracts, preventing the user from using it again. At the same time, a pre-break groove is provided at the rod. When the syringe is used up, the push rod is pulled outward. When the pre-break groove is parallel to the retaining flange, the rod breaks, causing the syringe to self-destruct. The structure is simple and reasonable. It can achieve the technical effect of making the syringe self-destruct after one use. When the syringe self-destructs, the needle is placed inside the syringe barrel, which will not cause environmental pollution and can protect medical staff or cleaners. Implementation Method

[0016] The positional relationships described in the following embodiments include: up, down, left, and right. Unless otherwise specified, they are all based on the direction shown by the components in the drawings. The directions mentioned (e.g., up, down, left, right, front, and back) are based on the content shown in the drawings and are used to illustrate the relative relationships (e.g., positional relationships, connection relationships, and action relationships) between the various elements or structures in the embodiments.

[0017] As shown in Figure 1, it is an overall structural diagram of the self-destructing disposable syringe of the present invention; as shown in Figure 2, it is a partial structural diagram of the self-destructing disposable syringe of the present invention; as shown in Figure 3, it is a structural diagram of the needle hub of the self-destructing disposable syringe of the present invention; as shown in Figure 4, it is a structural diagram of the needle hub of the self-destructing disposable syringe of the present invention; as shown in Figure 5, it is a structural diagram of the self-destructing disposable syringe of the present invention before use; as shown in Figure 6, it is a structural diagram of the self-destructing disposable syringe of the present invention after use.

[0018] Please refer to Figure 1. The self-destructing disposable syringe of this invention includes a syringe 1 and a plunger 2 installed in the syringe 1 (see Figure 5). The plunger 2 is divided into two parts: a plunger head 21 (see Figure 2) and a plunger body 22 (see Figure 1). A piston 3 is sleeved on the front end of the plunger head 21. A needle seat 4 is provided at the end of the piston 3 away from the plunger head 21. A locking mechanism 5 is provided on the side of the needle seat 4 near the piston 3. The locking mechanism 5 includes a linkage deformation part 51 arranged opposite to each other. A locking sleeve part 52 is provided at the extension of the linkage deformation part 51 (see Figure 4).

[0019] Please refer to Figure 2. The syringe 1 includes a body 11. The body 11 has a chamber 12 inside. The extension of the chamber 12 has a mounting hole 13. The inner wall of the mounting hole 13 has a retaining groove 14. The retaining part 52 engages with the retaining groove 14. The mounting hole 13 is covered with a needle cap 15 (see Figure 5). The retaining part 52 is a hook structure.

[0020] Please refer to Figure 3. The needle holder 4 includes: a seat body 41, an annular groove 47, a hook rod 48, and a needle hole 49. The seat body 41, annular groove 47, hook rod 48, and needle hole 49 are integrally formed components. The annular groove 47 is located between the seat body 41 and the needle hole 49. The hook rod 48 is provided at the end of the seat body 41 away from the annular groove 47. The needle hole 49 is used to install the needle 60 (see Figures 5 and 6).

[0021] A sealing ring 42 (see Figure 2) is provided on the annular groove 47. One embodiment of the sealing ring 42 is an O-ring rubber ring to prevent the medicine from overflowing through the needle seat 4 when squeezing the medicine.

[0022] Please refer to Figure 4. The surface of the seat 41 is provided with two symmetrical inward surfaces 43. Each inward surface 43 and its corresponding linkage deformation part 51 form a hollow structure 44. The design of the hollow structure 44 allows the linkage deformation part 51 to have more deformation space.

[0023] The linkage deformation part 51 is a convex arc-shaped plate connected to the hook rod 48 (see Figure 3), and the end of the clamping part 52 away from the linkage deformation part 51 is connected to the end of the annular groove 47 away from the pinhole 49.

[0024] The piston 3 is provided with an insertion hole 31 near the needle seat 4. When the injection is completed, the insertion hole 31 is sleeved with the hook rod 48 and part of the linkage deformation part 51. When the piston 3 moves forward by the force of the push rod 2 (moving towards the needle seat 4), the piston 3 causes the linkage deformation part 51 to compress and elastically deform, the hollow structure 44 becomes smaller, the clamping part 52 leaves the clamping groove 14 of the syringe 1 and no longer engages, and the piston 3 can drive the linkage deformation part 51 to move.

[0025] The inner surface 43 is provided with a shoulder 45 protruding from the inner surface 43 (see Figure 3). The shoulder 45 is arranged perpendicularly to the buckling mechanism 5. When the piston 3 moves forward by the force of the push rod 2, the connecting deformation part 51 is compressed and elastically deformed. The shoulder 45 is stuck on the end face of the piston 3 and does not enter the interior of the piston 3, thus playing a limiting role for the needle seat 4.

[0026] A triangular rib 46 is provided between the shoulder 45 on one side and the end of the needle holder 4 away from the needle hole 49 (see Figure 3). The triangular rib 46 is arranged opposite to the hook rod 48. Since the triangular rib 46 cannot be completely submerged in the piston 3, the needle holder 4 can form an inclined angle when the piston 3 retracts, so that the needle tip 60 is inclined on the inner wall of the syringe 1. The needle tip 60 cannot move forward with the push rod 2, thereby preventing the user from using it again (see Figure 6).

[0027] A pre-break groove 23 is provided at the rod body 22 (see Figure 2), and a retaining flange 16 is provided at the end of the syringe 1 away from the needle hole 49 (see Figure 1). When the syringe is used up, the push rod 2 is pulled outward, and the rod body 22 is broken when the pre-break groove 23 is parallel to the retaining flange 16 (see Figure 6), causing the syringe to self-destruct, thereby preventing the user from using it again.

[0028] Beneficial effects of this invention: This invention proposes a self-destructing disposable syringe. A locking mechanism 5 is provided on the side of the needle seat 4 near the piston 3. The locking mechanism 5 includes a linkage deformation part 51 and a locking sleeve part 52 arranged opposite to each other. The linkage deformation part 51 can engage with the piston 3, and the locking sleeve part 52 engages with the locking groove 14 of the syringe barrel. The locking force of the locking mechanism 5 is evenly distributed, preventing the needle seat 4 from detaching from the piston 3 due to insufficient locking. When injection is completed, because the triangular rib 46 of the needle seat 4 cannot be completely submerged in the piston 3, the needle seat 4 can be deformed as the piston 3 retracts. The syringe is tilted at an angle, causing the needle 60 to tilt against the inner wall of the syringe barrel 1. The needle 60 cannot move forward with the push rod 2, thus preventing reuse by the user. At the same time, a pre-break groove 23 is provided at the rod body 22. When the syringe is used up, the push rod 2 is pulled outward, and the rod body 22 breaks when the pre-break groove 23 is parallel to the retaining flange 16, causing the syringe to self-destruct. The structure is simple and reasonable, which can achieve the technical effect of making the syringe self-destruct after one use. The needle 60 is still inside the syringe barrel 1 when it self-destructs, which will not cause environmental pollution and can protect medical staff or cleaners.
