Abstract
Description
Tasting equipment TASTING SAMPLER Technical Field
[0001] This utensil model relates to a tasting apparatus for an alcoholic beverage, particularly for a tasting apparatus for a strong alcoholic beverage such as cognac or brandy. Prior Technology
[0002] Prior art is known for small-volume bottle-shaped containers up to 200 ml, designed for alcoholic beverages such as wine. For example, U.S. Patent No. US9156587 discloses a wine bottle container with a volume of 187 ml, made of plastic or glass, and including an arc-shaped body and a cap formed of a membrane to retain the beverage within the body.
[0003] These bottle-shaped containers, and similar types, are designed to store alcoholic beverages in smaller volumes than typical bottle-shaped containers, which usually hold 750 ml. Essentially, these are the same bottle shape but with a smaller capacity. To fully taste and evaluate the beverage's sensory characteristics, the bottle-shaped container must first be placed in an environment with suitable temperature conditions, which is not always possible. Furthermore, these bottle-shaped containers are completely unsuitable for tasting beverages, i.e., for consuming small amounts of beverage through frequent sips, because after opening and tasting, most of the beverage must be discarded.
[0004] US Patent No. 6644846 discloses a wine tasting device with a rather complex plastic body and a volume ranging from 2 to 16 ounces, or approximately 60 ml to 470 ml. If the volume of the beverage contained within is close to the lower limit of a certain range, the plastic body allows for slight heating of the contents of the tasting device. However, the material of the body directly and adversely affects the sensory characteristics of the beverage, and the truncated conical shape of the conventional tasting device body prevents the beverage from fully releasing its aroma and flavor through heating.
[0005] In addition to the habituation technique mentioned above, in the habituation technique, other bottle-like containers with similar solutions to the foregoing, and for similar purposes, are designed to be used for holding alcoholic beverages of low or medium strength and are not suitable for holding strong alcoholic beverages such as cognac or brandy, which require more delicate heating. and also needs to be heated to the correct temperature without specific equipment or long waits.
[0006] Therefore, designing a tasting device, which can be successfully used in strong alcoholic beverages, such as cognac or brandy, which needs to be heated to a specific temperature to completely release its taste characteristics without the use of any additional devices, can, in this way, solve the technical problems encountered by the Xizhi technique. The problem of habitual technology is complicated by the fact that the most complete release is obtained in a fairly narrow temperature range for the sensory characteristics of this beverage, which are influenced by the constant accumulation of factors such as shape, material, volume and other characteristics of the tasting device, whose selection of shape, material, volume and other features is quite a complex and non-trivial task. Invention content
[0007] The present model lies in solving the problem of learning technology on the one hand, and in the tool model of the present model is the development of a new type of tasting equipment for alcoholic beverages, especially about the tasting equipment of strong alcoholic beverages such as cognac or brandy, so that the shortcomings of the similar solution of learning technology are eliminated.
[0008] In this way, by technically using such a utensil model, it is ensured that using only the heat from the user's hand can sufficiently quickly yet relatively accurately and consistently warm the beverage placed in the tasting device, thus providing the most complete release of the sensory characteristics of the alcoholic beverage during tasting.
[0009] Further, all possible embodiments of the sampler and utensil model described in the present novel will be explained in detail by reference to the accompanying illustrations, however the present novel is not limited to this. Brief explanation of the schema
[0010] FIG.
[0011] 2 stereoscopic diagrams schematically show embodiments of the sampler described in FIG. Implementation
[0012] The problems of the aforementioned prior art have been solved, and the technical results described in this invention have been achieved by means of the structure shown in Figures 1 and 2 and the tasting device (1) described in the claims, which is used for an alcoholic beverage (2) such as cognac or brandy. The tasting device (1) includes a bottle-shaped container and a stopper (5). The bottle-shaped container is composed of a substantially arcuate or nearly arcuate body (3) and a base (4) adjacent to the body.
[0013] The arc-shaped body (3) forms a base (4) at the other end of the bottle mouth, and the bottle mouth can be sealed with the stopper (5), so that the stopper (5) can be inserted into the neck of the arc-shaped body (3). As shown in Figure 2, the stopper (5) seals the bottle mouth, and its neck against the arc-shaped body has a sealing element (6). The sealing element (6) can prevent the alcoholic beverage (2) from splashing, reduce heat exchange with the environment, and prevent air from leaking out uncontrollably after sealing.
[0014] In addition to the above description, the interior of the arc-shaped body (3) is also important, and it also determines the volume of the alcoholic beverage (2) being tasted. According to the technical solution described in this invention, the internal volume of the arc-shaped body (3) corresponding to 40g to 70g of alcoholic beverage (2) is such that the alcoholic beverage (2), such as cognac or brandy, can be heated to the most suitable temperature by the user's hand. With such a heating rate and consistency, the sensory characteristics of this alcoholic beverage (2) can be maximized. In a preferred embodiment, the specific internal volume of the body (3) corresponds to the weight of the alcoholic beverage (2) when it is filled with alcoholic beverage (2), which is approximately 45g to 65g, preferably 50g to 60g.
[0015] It should be noted that, in the embodiments shown, the internal volume of the arc body (3) is measured in grams, relative to the volume that can be occupied by a beverage of the same mass (specifically cognac or brandy).
[0016] The inventor of this invention has conducted multiple tests using various tasting devices (1), characterized by different materials used for the arc-shaped body (3), the base (4), and the stopper (5), different shapes of the arc-shaped body (3), different values of the internal volume and wall thickness of the arc-shaped body (3), and the presence or removal of the sealing element (6). In addition, different brands of cognac or brandy were also tested as alcoholic beverages (2) with volumes corresponding to a mass of approximately 15 to 40 grams.
[0017] The above tests are mainly based on taste characteristics, aroma, aftertaste and flavor to evaluate the perception of beverages.
[0018] First and foremost, these tests show that the results are substantially unaffected by the Cognac brandy or the brandy brand.
[0019] It has been found that the most suitable shape for the arc body (3) is an arc shape or a near-spherical shape. Specifically, the best result is when the lower half (approximately half) of the adjacent base (4) of the arc body (3) is close to a spherical shape, i.e., a quasi-spherical shape. Such a shape ensures that the alcoholic beverage (2) can be heated consistently and quickly, which is important for the more complete release of the sensory characteristics of the alcoholic beverage (2).
[0020] Furthermore, the heating rate and consistency, as well as the saturation of oxygen molecules in the air by the vapor of the alcoholic beverage (2) during shaking and simultaneous warming by the user's hand, are determined by the internal volume of the arc-shaped body (3). The optimal internal volume of the arc-shaped body (3) corresponds to a weight range of 50 to 60 grams of alcoholic beverage (2) when fully filled, but good results can also be achieved with a weight range of 40 to 70 grams of alcoholic beverage (2). When the internal volume of the arc-shaped body (3) is small, the heating is significantly faster, which leads to uneven heating and even overheating of the alcoholic beverage (2). When the internal volume of the arc-shaped body (3) is large, the heating is slower, and more precisely, the overall heating consistency of the alcoholic beverage (2) is reduced.
[0021] On the one hand, the use of the sealing element (6) helps to ensure the tightness of the internal volume of the arc-shaped body (3), that is, to prevent volatile compounds from escaping from the alcoholic beverage (2) when warm, until the tasting vessel (1) is opened, and to allow these volatile compounds to mix with a certain amount of air in order to fully release the sensory characteristics of the alcoholic beverage (2) at the appropriate time. On the other hand, the use of the sealing element (6) prevents external air from entering the bottle-shaped container, which has a positive effect on the sensory characteristics of the alcoholic beverage.
[0022] Finally, the use of glass as the material for manufacturing the arc body (3), the base (4) and the plug (5) also affects the true sensory characteristics of the alcoholic beverage (2) in terms of preservation and supply.
[0023] Furthermore, it has been found that the aforementioned factors mutually enhance each other's influence. When the same factors collectively select the most suitable value, in other words, a complementary effect is created. Obviously, this is because the composition of the alcoholic beverage (2), such as cognac or brandy, will have such an effect, but the result will be different for other alcoholic beverages (2).
[0024] Therefore, when using the tasting device (1) described in this invention, the user holds its arc-shaped body (3) with one or both hands for a period of time, so that the alcoholic beverage (2) contained in the container can be evenly warmed to the optimal use temperature based on the internal volume and structural features of the tasting device (1), thereby ensuring that the sensory characteristics of the strong alcoholic beverage (2), such as cognac or brandy, can be fully and properly released without the use of any additional devices.
