Abstract
Description
Shelf structure Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to a shelf structure, specifically a shelf structure that can pivot and open to allow the seat cushion to be opened. Prior Technology
[0002] Currently known storage rack structures can be found in Republic of China Utility Model Patent No. M591058 and Republic of China Utility Model Patent No. M610531. Republic of China Utility Model Patent No. M591058 discloses a motorcycle accessory device comprising: a main frame including a carrying portion and a connecting portion; a support member including a connecting portion and a supporting portion; and a fixing unit; wherein the fixing unit is detachably longitudinally connected to the connecting portion and the connecting portion, thereby fixing the main frame to the support member; wherein the support portion is used to match the rear end frame of a motorcycle, so that when the support portion is tightly connected to the rear end frame of the motorcycle, movement between the support portion and the rear end frame of the motorcycle can be avoided.
[0003] Furthermore, Republic of China Utility Model Patent No. M610531 discloses a movable cargo rack for the rear seat of a motorcycle, which includes a fixed component and a rack. The fixed component is used to install on the motorcycle frame and has a moving guide structure and a positioning structure. The moving guide structure is used to guide the rack to move back and forth, and the positioning structure is used to lock the rack when it reaches the positioning position. The rack can be movably combined with the moving guide structure so that the rack can be moved forward to occupy a front cargo position on the rear seat of the motorcycle, or it can be moved backward to empty the rear seat of the motorcycle for a rear cargo position. In this way, the rider can move the rack forward to the front cargo position to stably carry cargo, or move the rack backward to the rear cargo position to carry passengers on the rear seat of the motorcycle.
[0004] However, if it is installed on the rear seat of a motorcycle, it is installed in a fixed manner, which means that the seat of the motorcycle cannot be opened at any time to place items. All the aforementioned conventional attachments or racks must be removed before it can be opened, which is not only structurally complicated but also very inconvenient in terms of disassembly, assembly and use. Summary of the Invention
[0005] For the reasons mentioned above, the purpose of this invention is to disclose a storage rack structure that uses a first frame to pivotally connect to a second frame mounted on a motorcycle transport vehicle via a pivoting assembly. The first and second frames can be easily fixed together using a quick-release assembly, or the first frame can be easily detached from the second frame to pivotally open. This allows the seat of the motorcycle transport vehicle to be opened at any time to place or retrieve items. The structure is not only simple but also very convenient to operate.
[0006] To achieve the above objectives, this invention provides a shelf structure, including a first shelf body that is pivotally connected to a second shelf body via a pivoting component; and two quick-release components respectively disposed on both sides of the first shelf body, so that the first shelf body can be detachably fixed to the second shelf body.
[0007] In some embodiments, the first frame includes an outer frame, two grips and two extensions. The two grips extend forward from both ends of a front side of the outer frame, and the two extensions are disposed opposite to the two grips and extend downward from both ends of the front side of the outer frame. A seating space is defined between the two grips and the front side of the outer frame.
[0008] In some embodiments, the two quick-release components are respectively disposed on the two extensions. Each quick-release component includes a toggle piece, a quick-release buckle, and a quick-release hook. The toggle piece is disposed on an outward-facing surface of the corresponding extension. The quick-release buckle is swayably disposed below the toggle piece. The quick-release hook is fixed to the outside of the second frame corresponding to the quick-release buckle. Thus, by controlling the toggle piece, the quick-release buckle can be detachably hooked or detached from the quick-release hook.
[0009] In some embodiments, the pivot assembly includes a first U-shaped member, a second U-shaped member, a bolt, and a nut. The first U-shaped member is disposed on a rear side of the outer frame, and the second U-shaped member is disposed on a rear side of the second frame. The first U-shaped member and the second U-shaped member are connected opposite to and overlapping each other. The bolt passes through both the first U-shaped member and the second U-shaped member simultaneously. Each end of the bolt has a limiting protrusion and a threaded section. When the bolt passes through both the first U-shaped member and the second U-shaped member simultaneously, the limiting protrusion is located on one outer side of the overlapping area of the first U-shaped member and the second U-shaped member to provide a first outer side limiting, while the threaded section is located on the other outer side of the overlapping area of the first U-shaped member and the second U-shaped member. The nut is screwed to the threaded section to provide a second outer side limiting. Thus, through the arrangement of the first U-shaped member on the first frame and the second U-shaped member on the second frame, the first frame can pivot relative to the second frame.
[0010] In some embodiments, the second frame includes two L-shaped parts, a U-shaped tail piece, and a fixing rod. The two L-shaped parts are arranged opposite to each other and are respectively connected to the two ends of the U-shaped tail piece. The two ends of the fixing rod are respectively connected to the two ends of the two L-shaped parts that are respectively connected to the two ends of the U-shaped tail piece. The second U-shaped part of the pivot assembly is disposed on the fixing rod, and the quick-release hook is disposed on the outer side of a front section of the L-shaped part.
[0011] In some embodiments, the shelf structure further includes two first fasteners extending downward from the two L-shaped members adjacent to the quick-release hooks, configured to be detachably fixed to a straddle-mounted transport vehicle via a first screw fastener.
[0012] In some embodiments, the shelf structure further includes at least one second fastener extending downward from the fastener rod and configured to be detachably fastened to the straddle carrier via a second screw fastener.
[0013] In some embodiments, the shelf structure further includes two protective pads, which are detachably disposed on the two L-shaped members near the quick-release hooks, so that the two extension members can be cushioned and abutted against each other.
[0014] In some embodiments, the first frame further includes two longitudinal rods, which are spaced apart from each other within the outer frame. The two ends of each longitudinal rod are respectively connected to a front side and a rear side of the outer frame. The two longitudinal rods divide the interior of the outer frame into a first space, a second space, and a third space. The first space is located between a right side of the outer frame and a longitudinal rod adjacent to the right side of the outer frame. The second space is located between a left side of the outer frame and a longitudinal rod adjacent to the left side of the outer frame. The third space is located between the two longitudinal rods.
[0015] In some embodiments, the first frame further includes two first transverse bars and two second transverse bars. One of the first transverse bars connects to a right side of the outer frame and a longitudinal bar adjacent to the right side of the outer frame at both ends, dividing the first space into a first block and a second block. The other first transverse bar connects to a left side of the outer frame and a longitudinal bar adjacent to the left side of the outer frame at both ends, dividing the second space into a third block and a fourth block. The two second transverse bars are spaced apart from each other, and the two ends of each second transverse bar are connected to the two longitudinal bars. The two second transverse bars divide the third space into a fifth block, a sixth block, and a seventh block. Simple Explanation of the Diagram

[0025] The specific implementation method of this invention will be described in detail below, taking into account specific circumstances.
[0026] Figure 1 is an exploded view of the shelf structure 10 of this invention. Figure 2 is a perspective view of the shelf structure 10 of this invention in its folded state. Figure 3 is an exploded view of the shelf structure 10 of this invention integrated into a motorcycle transport vehicle. Figure 4 is a perspective view of the shelf structure 10 of this invention integrated into a motorcycle transport vehicle.
[0027] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. The storage shelf structure 10 of this invention may include a first frame 100, a second frame 200, a pivot assembly 300, and two quick-release assemblies 400.
[0028] The first frame 100 can be pivotally connected to the second frame 200 via a pivot assembly 300. In some embodiments, the first frame 100 may include an outer frame 110, two grips 120, and two extensions 130. The two grips 120 may extend forward from both ends of a front side 111 of the outer frame 110, thereby allowing the rider to grip one of the grips 120 to control the pivoting of the first frame 100 relative to the second frame 200 (see FIG. 9). In some embodiments, the grips 120 may be generally U-shaped, but are not limited thereto. The two extensions 130 may be corresponding to the two grips 120 and extend downward from both ends of the front side 111 of the outer frame 110. In some embodiments, a seating space 115 is defined between the two grips 120 and the front side 111 of the outer frame 110, thereby increasing the space available for the rider to sit.
[0029] Two quick-release components 400 can be respectively installed on both sides of the first frame 100 (i.e., the right side 113 and the left side 114 of the outer frame 110) so that the first frame 100 can be detachably fixed to the second frame 200.
[0030] Figure 6 is a partially enlarged three-dimensional diagram of the quick-release components in the locked state of the storage rack structure of this invention. Figure 7 is a three-dimensional diagram of the storage rack structure of this invention in the open state, attached to the motorcycle transport vehicle. Figure 8 is a partially enlarged three-dimensional diagram of the quick-release components in the detached state of the storage rack structure of this invention. Figure 9 is a three-dimensional diagram of the storage rack structure of this invention, which allows the seat cushion of the motorcycle transport vehicle to be opened when it is in the open state.
[0031] In some embodiments, referring simultaneously to Figures 1 to 4 and Figures 6 to 9, two quick-release components 400 are respectively disposed on two extensions 130. Each quick-release component 400 may include a toggle piece 410, a quick-release buckle 420, and a quick-release hook 430. The toggle piece 410 may be disposed on an outward-facing surface of the corresponding extension 130, the quick-release buckle 420 is pivotally disposed below the toggle piece 410, and the quick-release hook 430 is fixed to the outside of the second frame 200 corresponding to the quick-release buckle 420. Thus, by controlling the toggle piece 410, the quick-release buckle 420 can be detachably engaged with or disengaged from the quick-release hook 430. In other words, as shown in Figures 6 and 7, when the quick-release buckle 420 engages with the quick-release hook 430, goods can be placed on the first frame 100 for transport; and as shown in Figures 8 and 9, when the quick-release buckle 420 disengages from the quick-release hook 430, the first frame 100 can be pivotally opened relative to the second frame 200, thereby opening the seat 21 of the straddle-mounted transport vehicle 20 for easy placement or retrieval of items. This achieves a simple operation of quick engagement and disengagement and opening of the seat 21. In some embodiments, the straddle-mounted transport vehicle 20 may be a hydraulically driven motorcycle, an electrically driven motorcycle, etc., but is not limited thereto.
[0032] Figure 5 is a partially enlarged three-dimensional schematic diagram of the central connecting component of the shelving structure in this creation.
[0033] Please refer to Figures 1 to 5. The pivot assembly 300 includes a first U-shaped member 310, a second U-shaped member 320, a bolt 330, and a nut 340. The first U-shaped member 310 can be disposed on a rear side 112 of the outer frame 110. The second U-shaped member 320 can be disposed on a rear side of the second frame 200 (that is, the second U-shaped member 320 can be disposed on the fixing rod 230 of the second frame 200). The first U-shaped member 310 and the second U-shaped member 320 are connected opposite to and overlapping each other. The bolt 330 can pass through both the first U-shaped member 310 and the second U-shaped member 320 simultaneously. The two ends of the bolt 330 have a limiting protrusion 331 and a threaded section 332, respectively. As shown in Figures 1 and 5, when the bolt 330 passes through both the first U-shaped member 310 and the second U-shaped member 320 simultaneously, the limiting protrusion 331 can be positioned on one outer side of an overlap between the first U-shaped member 310 and the second U-shaped member 320 (as shown on the left side of Figure 5) to provide a first outer side limiting. The threaded segment 332 is positioned on the other outer side of the overlap between the first U-shaped member 310 and the second U-shaped member 320 (as shown on the right side of Figure 5), and the nut 340 can be screwed into the threaded segment 332 to provide a second outer side limiting. Thus, through the arrangement of the first U-shaped member 310 on the first frame 100 and the second U-shaped member 320 on the second frame 200, the first frame 100 can pivot relative to the second frame 200 (as shown in Figure 7).
[0034] Referring back to Figure 1, in some embodiments, the second frame 200 may include two L-shaped members 210, a U-shaped tail member 220, and a fixing rod 230. The two L-shaped members 210 may be arranged opposite each other and may be respectively connected to the two ends of the U-shaped tail member 220. The two ends of the fixing rod 230 may be respectively connected to the two ends of the two L-shaped members 210 that are respectively connected to the two ends of the U-shaped tail member 220. The second U-shaped member 320 of the pivot assembly 300 may be disposed on the fixing rod 230, and the quick-release hook 430 may be disposed on the outer side of a front section of the L-shaped member 210. In some embodiments, the second frame 200 may be the rear seat armrest of the straddle transport vehicle 20 itself, or the structure of the second frame 200 as shown in Figures 1 to 4. This invention uses the structure of the second frame as an example for illustration, but is not limited thereto.
[0035] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. The shelf structure 10 of this invention may also include two first fasteners 500. The two first fasteners 500 may be provided downwardly from the two L-shaped parts adjacent to the quick-release hooks 430, and are configured to be detachably fixed to the straddle transport vehicle 20 by means of first fasteners 710 (e.g., screws or bolts).
[0036] Please refer to Figures 1 to 4. The shelf structure 10 of this invention may also include at least one second fastener 600. In this invention, two second fasteners are used as an example for illustration. The number of fasteners may be increased or decreased for different models of motorcycle transport vehicles, and is not limited thereto. The second fastener 600 may extend downward from the fixing rod 230 and is configured to be detachably fixed to the motorcycle transport vehicle 20 by means of a second fastener 720 (e.g., a screw or bolt).
[0037] In some embodiments, referring to Figures 1 to 3, the shelf structure 10 of this invention may further include two protective pads 800. The two protective pads 800 are detachably disposed at the locations adjacent to the quick-release hooks 430 of the two L-shaped members 210, respectively, to provide cushioning against the two extension members 130. In other words, when the first shelf 100 pivots toward the second shelf 200 and the quick-release buckle 420 of the quick-release assembly 400 is engaged with the quick-release hook 430, the extension member 130 will abut against the L-shaped member 210 of the second shelf 200. The protective pads 800 prevent damage from collisions between the rigid materials of the first shelf 100 and the second shelf 200, thereby increasing their service life.
[0038] Referring back to Figure 1, in some embodiments, the first frame 100 may further include two longitudinal bars 140. The two longitudinal bars 140 are spaced apart within the outer frame 110, with each end of the longitudinal bar 140 connected to the front side 111 and the rear side 112 of the outer frame 110, respectively. The two longitudinal bars 140 divide the interior of the outer frame 110 into a first space S1, a second space S2, and a third space S3. The first space S1 may be located between a right side 113 of the outer frame 110 and a longitudinal bar 140 adjacent to the right side 113 of the outer frame 110; the second space S2 may be located between a left side 114 of the outer frame 110 and a longitudinal bar 140 adjacent to the left side 114 of the outer frame 110; and the third space S3 may be located between the two longitudinal bars 140. This increases its load-bearing strength.
[0039] Still referring to FIG. 1, the first frame body 100 may further include two first horizontal bars 150 and two second horizontal bars 160. The two ends of one first horizontal bar 150 (the upper first horizontal bar in FIG. 1) are respectively connected to the right side 113 of the outer frame 110 and the vertical bar 140 adjacent to the right side 113 of the outer frame 110 (i.e., roughly in the shape of a Chinese character 'Ri'), and divide the first space S1 into a first block S11 and a second block S12. The two ends of the other first horizontal bar 150 (the lower first horizontal bar in FIG. 1) are respectively connected to the left side 114 of the outer frame 110 and the vertical bar 140 adjacent to the left side 114 of the outer frame 110 (i.e., roughly in the shape of a Chinese character 'Ri'), and divide the second space S2 into a third block S21 and a fourth block S22. The two second horizontal bars 160 are spaced apart from each other, and the two ends of each second horizontal bar 160 can be respectively connected to the two vertical bars 140 (i.e., roughly in the shape of a Chinese character 'Mu'), and the two second horizontal bars 160 can divide the third space S3 into a fifth block S31, a sixth block S32 and a seventh block S33. Thereby, the loading strength is increased and a space for hanging items is provided.
[0040] In summary, the storage rack structure 10 of the present creation can use the first frame body 100 to be pivotally connected to the second frame body 200 installed on the cross-riding transport vehicle 20 through the pivot connection component 300, and use the quick-release component 400 to easily fix the first frame body 100 and the second frame body 200, or can easily detach the first frame body 100 from the second frame body 200 to pivot and open, so that the seat 21 of the cross-riding transport vehicle 20 can be opened at any time to place or take items. It not only has a simple structure but is also very convenient to operate.
