Description

Improved board cutting device for corrugated cardboard Technical Field

[0001] This invention is an improvement on a board cutting device for corrugated cardboard, specifically an improved design of a board cutting machine device that allows for easy, quick, and safe cutting of board components made from stacked corrugated cardboard for pallet production using a circular saw. Prior Technology

[0002] The sawing operation of corrugated cardboard is generally difficult because the paper surface is easily damaged or dented. It typically involves a fixed saw blade, with a platform on one side supporting the board as it slides and is used for cutting. A circular saw blade is usually positioned in the middle of the cutting table, with a long platform and a support plate on one side for positioning. The operator then pushes the board to feed it, preventing dents or damage caused by uncontrollable pressure on the cardboard surface. However, the actual cutting speed has been difficult to increase effectively, and it's hard to achieve consistent and aesthetically pleasing cuts with straight edges. Even more troubling for manufacturers is the cutting of thin, rod-shaped pieces. Because the entire feeding process is done manually, especially when the cut width is less than 30mm, the operator is highly susceptible to injury if the cut is not handled carefully. Overall, production speed is difficult to increase, and consequently, overall manufacturing costs have remained high. With the increasing demands for environmentally friendly production and manufacturing in modern industrial development and applications, especially in the use of widely adopted paper-based environmentally friendly pallets, the demand is growing. However, the current cutting methods for laminated corrugated paperboard have consistently failed to meet the needs of economic efficiency and production speed, a persistent challenge for manufacturers. The main issue lies in the cutting process. Although circular saws are used, slight miscalculations during the pressing and positioning of the entire cardboard surface can easily create indentations, compromising the overall smoothness and affecting the overall adhesion, flatness, and stability of the stack. Consequently, production efficiency has not been effectively improved, making it difficult to reduce costs and meet actual usage needs. Therefore, there is a strong need to actively improve the current circular sawing structure to effectively improve the cutting operation of corrugated paperboard, achieving safe, efficient, and precise cutting while effectively reducing defect rates. Summary of the Invention

[0003] The creator has many years of experience in manufacturing and designing metal sheet cutting machines. Recognizing the numerous practical and safety deficiencies arising from the clamping and positioning design in the aforementioned circular sawing of corrugated cardboard, and after extensive research, based on years of experience in industry development and design, this improved corrugated cardboard cutting device addresses the critical clamping and positioning needs of corrugated cardboard. This improved device utilizes a sliding circular saw blade design, with counterweight cylinders at both ends of the pressure bar holding the workpiece above the saw to neutralize the weight of the entire pressure bar. Combined with the pressure adjustment cylinder, the pressure on the pressure bar is controlled, ensuring a light touch on the corrugated cardboard surface during cutting, preventing damage while providing reliable clamping and sawing safety. This effectively improves overall sawing efficiency and overcomes the practicality issues of traditional corrugated cardboard sawing and positioning difficulties.

[0004] The purpose of this invention is to install a set of counterweight cylinders on both sides of the pressure bar above the sawing machine platform, which are then locked to the machine frame to form a suspended pressure bar. This allows the counterweight to be assembled in a near-zero state. Combined with the pressure adjustment cylinder, the force applied to the pressure bar can be finely adjusted to achieve a safe pressure that prevents indentations when lightly touching corrugated cardboard, thus ensuring the practical effect of simple, safe, and fast sawing. [0010] To facilitate your review committee's further understanding of the improved design features of the corrugated cardboard sawing control structure of this invention, a detailed description is provided below with reference to the embodiment drawings: This invention is an improved corrugated cardboard cutting device. The entire structure and device are improved. Please refer to Figures 1 to 5. The structure of the cutting machine is roughly similar to that of a conventional metal sheet table for feeding and sawing. It includes a long frame table (10) for placing the cutting material, which is used to place the corrugated cardboard during the cutting operation. The frame table (10) has protruding frame bodies (11) on both sides, which are hollow inside. In the middle of the opposite frame bodies (11), a pressure bar (12) is installed to hold the cutting board. The appropriate width provides proper pressure and positioning for the board surface during sawing. Both ends of the pressure rod (12) are fitted with a U-shaped end plate (13), which is then inserted into one end of the fixing seat (20) inserted into the hollow interior of the frame body (11) on both sides of the table, forming a unified structure with a relatively concave-convex interlocking configuration, providing balanced and stable pressure control. A recessed groove is provided in the center of the connecting end of each fixing seat (20), forming a hollow space after locking with the end plate (13) of the pressure rod (12). The other end of the fixing seat (20) is U-shaped, with the U-shaped opening end forming a flat plate, the surface of which is precisely fitted into the fixing plate of the frame body (11). The extended end of the counterweight cylinder (21) is locked and connected, so that the same counterweight cylinder (21) is assembled on each of the frame body (11). In the recessed groove of the U-shaped lower half of the fixed seat (20), a set of stacked sprockets (22) is assembled. It consists of two oppositely assembled sprocket pieces, each assembled with an independent chain (23), and is fixed to one end of its respective chain (23). The other ends of the two chains (23) are respectively connected to the upper and lower end faces of the frame body (11) for fixation. The sprockets (22) are positioned and assembled in the center by a pivot (14). The rod is inserted through and inserted into the central shaft (15) of the pressure rod (12), so that it is integrated with the pressure rod (12). The assembly is pivotally connected, and a pressure regulating cylinder (24) is fitted between the end plate (13) connected to the pressure rod (12) and the groove edge of the fixed seat (20). The extended end of the pressure regulating cylinder (24) is fixed to the pivot (14) for controllable pressure adjustment of the pressure rod (12). During the corrugated paperboard cutting operation, the pressure rod (12) is assembled in a hanging state without its own weight by the counterweight cylinder (21) installed on the outer side of the fixed seat (20). Then, the pressure regulating cylinder (24) installed at both ends of the pressure rod (12) is slightly smaller than the counterweight cylinder (21) to adjust the appropriate pressure force, so that the pressure rod (12) can be safely pressured with a light touch to achieve the purpose of safe cutting of corrugated paperboard.During the sawing operation, the counterweight cylinders (21) on both sides are adjusted synchronously to form a zero-load state for the entire pressure rod (12). Then, the thick board piece (30) made of corrugated cardboard is pushed into the predetermined cutting position. It can be automatically fed and pushed according to the original feeding and discharging device design of the existing board cutting machine. When the board piece (30) is placed in the position, the pressure adjustment cylinder (24) pushes the entire pressure rod (12) down to contact the surface of the board piece (30) being cut, so that it is in a light-touch holding contact state. Generally, an application force of less than 10 kg is sufficient. When evenly distributed across the entire pressure bar (12), the contact pressure is minimal, ensuring no indentation damage occurs on the board surface, thus maintaining a flat surface. The saw blade (31) then performs a horizontal cutting operation from one side, achieving safe, convenient, rapid, and neat sawing. This is particularly suitable for the safe, precise, and stable sawing of stacked environmentally friendly paper pallets, providing a method for stacked paper pallet assembly to achieve aesthetically pleasing and precise high-quality sawing.

[0011] The structural design of this corrugated cardboard cutting device is characterized by the following: The two sides of the frame table (10) for placing the cutting material have protruding frame bodies (11) with a hollow interior. At both ends of the pressure rod (12) used to hold the cutting material on the table, there are convex end plates (13) that are locked together to the fixed seat (20) inside the hollow frame body (11). The counterweight is locked to the frame body (11) via the flat surface of the U-shaped opening at the other end of the fixed seat (20). The cylinder (21) allows the entire connecting rod (12) to be suspended, making it weightless. The sprocket assembly (22) assembled in the lower half of the U-shaped space of the fixed seat (20) is secured by a chain (23) with one end locked to the sprocket and the other end connected to the upper and lower end faces of the frame body (11) on the left and right sides respectively. This ensures that the rod (12) can effectively maintain the flatness of both sides of the rod surface when it slides up and down. The sprocket assembly (22) is inserted through the central pivot (14) to the rod (12). 2) The central shaft (15) is integrated into the assembly. At the groove edge where the end plate (13) of the pressure rod (12) is locked to the fixed seat (20), the extended end of the pressure regulating cylinder (24), which is slightly smaller than the counterweight cylinder (21) on the side of the frame body (11), is pivotally mounted on the pivot (14) to drive and control the pressure rod (12) for pressure adjustment. This ensures that when the plate part (30) is cut, the pressure rod (12) is lifted by the counterweight cylinder (21) so that its own weight is offset and it is in a weightless state. Then the pressure regulating cylinder (24) Appropriately adjust the holding force so that the pressure bar (12) is adjusted to a light-touch holding force to achieve the purpose of safe cutting of corrugated paperboard; ensure that the cutting of paperboard parts (30) can be safely and aesthetically pleasingly maintained, and can achieve the maximum range of cutting width and thickness adjustment. It has the practical functions of sawing safety and easy and quick operation, effectively maintains sawing quality, and has the practical function of ensuring safe operation. It is indeed a brand-new and practically safe improvement design in the design of corrugated paperboard sawing control.

[0012] In summary, this invention improves the corrugated cardboard cutting device. The zero-weight adjustment design of the pressure bar, combined with the pressure regulating cylinder for easy adjustment of the pressing force, effectively achieves the cutting requirements of safely and firmly pressing and holding similar board materials. Combined with the saw blade's rapid and neat cutting characteristics, it provides stable and safe sawing positioning. This not only significantly reduces cutting time but also achieves safe, aesthetically pleasing, and precise sawing quality. Its improved structural assembly, practical features, and enhanced functionality represent a novel and practically effective improvement in the design of similar machines. Therefore, this patent application meets the innovative and practical requirements of a utility model patent application, and is hereby filed in accordance with the law.
