Abstract
Description
Multifunctional cat bed structure Technical Field
[0001] This new type of product relates to pet living supplies, and in particular to a multifunctional cat bed structure that combines environmental friendliness, climate adaptability, and intelligent lighting effects. Prior Technology
[0002] Currently, most pet cat resting or activity supplies on the market are made of fabric, plastic, or wood. However, fabric products tend to accumulate dirt and are difficult to clean; plastic products are more durable but lack environmental friendliness and are harder to handle, making them less appealing to cats; while wooden products are bulky, heavy, and inconvenient to move. Furthermore, typical cat beds are often too basic and fail to provide varying temperature settings to adapt to climate changes.
[0003] Furthermore, many pet owners provide scratching posts for their cats to sharpen their claws, but traditional scratching posts and cat beds are often separate entities, inevitably taking up more indoor space. Therefore, given the aforementioned shortcomings of current pet supplies, creating products that integrate the functions of multiple products is a topic that needs improvement. Summary of the Invention
[0004] The main purpose of this new invention is to provide a multifunctional cat bed structure that effectively solves the problems of conventional pet products being single-function, space-consuming, and lacking in functionality. It also has the advantages of being environmentally friendly, adaptable to both hot and cold climates, and providing multiple functions such as scratching and smart lighting as needed.
[0005] To achieve the above-mentioned effects, this invention provides a multifunctional cat bed structure, the main technical means and structural features of which include a cat bed body; wherein, the cat bed body is mainly molded from paper pulp in one piece, its bottom side is hollowed out, and a hollowed-out opening is formed at the bottom; the cat bed body also has a relatively concave nest part formed at the center of the surface side, and a relatively protruding side baffle formed around the nest part, and the side baffle forms a gap on one side of the nest part to facilitate the cat's entry and exit; furthermore, the cat bed body further has at least one concave corner at the periphery of the surface side of the nest part near the bottom surface, the concave corner extends into the body to form an operating space for the user's fingertips to apply force, so as to take out and put at least one functional padding component in the nest part.
[0006] According to the above structure, the functional padding component is either a heat dissipation plate with heat dissipation effect or a heat insulation pad with heat insulation effect, or a combination thereof.
[0007] According to the above structure, the main body of the cat bed can be further provided with a cat scratching board in the body of the bed, and the cat scratching board can be located above the functional padding component.
[0008] According to the above structure, the main body of the cat bed can be further integrated with a lamp plate at the bottom hollowed-out area to provide the cat bed main body with a light transmission effect.
[0009] According to the above structure, the lamp panel is surrounded by a light strip to provide lighting effects.
[0010] According to the above structure, the lamp panel further includes an upper housing and a lower housing, which are connected to each other by a supporting housing, and the lamp strip is arranged in a ring at the periphery between the upper housing and the lower housing to emit a lighting effect to the surrounding area.
[0011] According to the above structure, the light strip can be further connected to a control unit and an electrical connector, and the control unit can be connected to a remote controller, so that the light strip can be controlled to emit a variety of different lighting effects.
[0012] According to the above structure, the lower shell system is further provided with a plurality of anti-slip pads on the bottom side for anti-slip purposes.
[0013] According to the above structure, the main body of the cat bed can be further designed in the shape of a cat, with the body and the side panel forming the cat's body and the notch forming the cat's head.
[0014] Therefore, this product is suitable for multiple seasons. Owners can easily replace the cooling pad or heating pad according to the temperature, and add a scratching post as needed, achieving multi-purpose economic benefits. The concave corner design in the cat bed body creates a fingertip-operated space after the functional pad components are inserted, effectively improving the convenience of removing and placing the components and solving the problem of difficulty in prying them off due to tight fit. Furthermore, this product utilizes the environmentally friendly, recyclable, and semi-transparent properties of pulp material, which can be combined with a light panel at the bottom to give the cat bed a soft glow in the dark, further combining environmental friendliness, structural stability and safety, and night light functionality.

[0023] Please refer to Figures 1 and 2. The main components of the multifunctional cat bed structure in this embodiment include a cat bed body 10, a light panel 20, at least one functional padding component 30, and a cat scratching board 40.
[0024] The cat bed body 10 is mainly a structure integrally formed by die casting of paper pulp fiber, and has a certain structural strength and cushioning performance. The bottom side of the cat bed body 10 is hollowed out and connected to one of the hollow openings 14 at the bottom. The surface of the cat bed body 10 has a nest part 11 in the center and a side baffle 12 around the nest part 11. The nest part 11 is concave relative to the side baffle 12, while the side baffle 12 is relatively convex. The side baffle 12 has a notch 13 on one side of the nest part 11 to facilitate the cat's entry and exit.
[0025] Please refer to Figure 3 again. The lamp panel 20 is mainly used to be installed below the cat bed body 10. When assembled, the hollow space on the bottom side of the cat bed body 10 can accommodate and cover the lamp panel 20. Through the semi-transparent properties of the pulp material, the cat bed body 10 can present a soft lighting effect according to the operation of the lamp panel 20. The lamp panel 20 includes an upper shell 21, a lower shell 22, and a light strip 24 arranged around the perimeter. The upper shell 21 and the lower shell 22 are connected by a support shell 221. The support shell 221 can be constructed in various different forms, such as a ring as shown in this embodiment, or a multi-segment arc shape, multiple support columns, etc., to support and connect the upper shell 21 and the lower shell 22, and to form a gap between them to fix the light strip 24, so that the light strip can be arranged in a ring shape at the perimeter between the two to emit a lighting effect in the surrounding area. In feasible embodiments, the lamp panel 20 can be provided with a suitable positioning structure at the upper housing 21, so that when it is set in the hollow position below the cat bed body 10, it can form a mutual positioning effect with the cat bed body 10. This positioning structure can be implemented in a variety of different ways, such as forming a relatively concave-convex locking positioning structure with the recessed nest part 11 of the cat bed body 10, or using components such as Velcro to form a positioning effect that can be separated and joined with the bottom of the nest part 11, so as to improve the convenience of the product during use and operation. This embodiment will not elaborate too much on the conventional technical means to avoid creating limitations, but will be described in advance.
[0026] The functional padding component 30 and the cat scratching board 40 are mainly functional components that can be combined into the nest body 11 according to usage needs. They can be one of them or any combination thereof. The functional padding component 30 can be a heat dissipation plate 31 with heat dissipation effect or a heat insulation pad 32 with heat insulation effect, while the cat scratching board 40 is usually a cardboard with an uneven or rough surface to provide scratching for cats.
[0027] In this embodiment, as shown in FIG4, the cat bed body 10 has at least one concave corner 111 on the periphery of the surface of the bed body 11 near the bottom, so that the user can insert his fingertips to easily operate and take out the functional padding component 30.
[0028] Furthermore, the lamp panel 20 can be provided with a plurality of anti-slip pads 23 on the bottom side of the lower housing 22 to increase the friction between it and the bottom surface and reduce the possible sliding displacement of related components. Also, the light strip 24 of the lamp panel 20 can be connected to a control unit 25 and an electrical connector 26. The control unit 25 can include functional components such as transformer, signal receiver, and control firmware. In practice, these functional components can also be configured separately. In this embodiment, the main purpose is to allow the light strip 24 to be remotely connected to a remote control through the control unit 25, and to use its preset multiple light emission modes, so that the user can operate the remote control to control the light strip 24 to perform lighting effects such as switching color temperature (such as warm yellow light or cool white light) or color changing mode, so that the cat bed becomes an aesthetically pleasing installation art in the home at night.
[0029] In feasible embodiments, the cat bed body 10 can be designed in an anthropomorphic or cute shape, such as a cat shape. The body part 11 and the side panel part 12 are designed as the cat body 102 part, while the cat head 101 part can be designed at the position of the notch 13.
[0030] In practical use, as shown in Figures 5 and 6, users can assemble appropriate components into the cat bed body 10 according to their needs or seasonal environment. For example, in summer, users can place an aluminum alloy heat dissipation plate 31, while in winter, it can be replaced with a cotton cloth warming pad 32 (as shown in Figure 5), or both can be used together. The light panel 20 can be installed under the cat bed body 10 under normal circumstances and can be turned on or off remotely when needed. The scratching post 40 can be installed into the bed body 11 when the cat is playing and has a need to sharpen its claws, and is placed on top of the functional pad assembly 30, or can be directly installed when the functional pad assembly 30 is not in use (as shown in Figure 6). When the cat finishes its activity and wants to rest and sleep, the scratching post 40 can be removed. In this way, this invention integrates many functions, provides wide applicability, and greatly reduces the space requirements of the indoor environment. Furthermore, since the concave corner 111 is located at the edge of the bottom surface of the recess 11, when inserting or removing the heat sink 31 or the heating pad 32, the component can be easily lifted and replaced simply by inserting a finger into the concave corner 111. This design is extremely convenient for daily maintenance.
[0031] The above description is merely an illustration of a preferred embodiment of the present invention. Any extensions, modifications, simple alterations, or equivalent substitutions made using the technical means of the present invention should also fall within the scope of this patent application.
