Abstract
Description
Universal tape dispenser Technical Field
[0001] This invention relates to a tape dispenser, and more particularly to a general-purpose tape dispenser that is simple in structure, easy to use, and cost-effective. Prior Technology
[0002] The existing tape dispenser mainly consists of a base with a cutting blade at the end of the base. In use, a piece of tape is placed on the base of the tape dispenser, and one end of the tape is pulled towards the cutting blade. When one end of the tape reaches the required length, it is cut by the cutting blade, thus completing the cutting of the tape.
[0003] However, existing tape dispenser bases have a fixed width for tapes of corresponding widths. When tapes narrower than the base width are placed on the dispenser, the lack of a structure to position them causes them to wobble or move, making them difficult to secure. This inconveniences tape cutting. Therefore, when using tapes of different widths, multiple dispensers corresponding to each width must be prepared or purchased. This increases both usability and storage inconvenience, as well as cost. A single dispenser cannot simultaneously meet the needs of tapes of different widths, limiting the practicality of existing dispensers. Therefore, these problems and shortcomings need improvement. Summary of the Invention
[0004] To address the shortcomings of existing tape dispensers, which cannot simultaneously accommodate tapes of different widths and require the purchase and carrying of multiple dispensers of varying widths, thus increasing costs, inconvenience, weight, and storage issues, and raising the risk of loss, this invention provides a universal tape dispenser. This dispenser allows users to locate and use tapes of various widths with a single dispenser, eliminating the need to purchase multiple dispensers and significantly reducing costs. This results in a simplified, convenient, and cost-effective universal tape dispenser.
[0005] Based on the above objectives, the present invention provides a universal tape dispenser, which includes a body, a coupling seat, a guide seat, a positioning device, and a rotating seat, wherein: The main body is provided with a connecting plate, two side plates and a cutting blade. The two side plates are combined with the connecting plate and are arranged facing each other at intervals. The cutting blade is located on the top of the connecting plate. The coupling seat is fixedly connected to the main body and located between the two side plates, and the coupling seat has a cavity inside; The guide seat is combined with the coupling seat and located in the cavity. The guide seat has a guide groove recessed on the side away from the coupling seat, and the two ends of the guide groove extend to the outer surface of the coupling seat. The positioning device is combined with the guide seat and is provided with at least one positioning plate. The at least one positioning plate is movably disposed within the guide groove of the guide seat and can extend out of the outer surface of the combined seat through one end of the guide groove. The at least one positioning plate has a sliding post on its side away from the guide seat. The rotating seat is combined with the main body and the positioning device. One side of the rotating seat is combined with the sliding post of at least one positioning plate of the positioning device. The rotating seat has a guide groove through the side for the sliding post to slide. When the rotating seat rotates relative to the main body, the rotating seat can extend out of the outer surface of the combined seat by moving the at least one positioning plate relative to the guide groove of the guide seat through the guide groove and the sliding post.
[0006] Furthermore, in the aforementioned universal tape table, the positioning device is provided with two positioning plates, which are disposed in the guide groove of the guide seat and can extend out of both ends of the guide groove respectively; the rotating seat is provided with two spaced guide grooves, which are respectively combined with the sliding columns of the two positioning plates of the positioning device, so that when the rotating seat rotates relative to the body, it can drive the two positioning plates to move relative to the guide seat.
[0007] Furthermore, in the aforementioned universal tape table, the positioning device has two positioning seats, which are movably disposed within the guide groove of the guide seat and extend out of the outer surface of the coupling seat through one end of the guide groove. The positioning device has two positioning plates on each of the positioning seats, which are spaced apart on the positioning seats. The sliding post is located on the side of one of the positioning plates away from the guide seat. The rotating seat has two spaced guide grooves, which are respectively engaged with the two sliding posts of the positioning device, so that when the rotating seat rotates relative to the main body, it can drive the two positioning seats to move relative to the guide seat.
[0008] Preferably, in the general-purpose tape dispenser described above, the main body has a locking protrusion on one side plate, and one side of the rotating seat abuts against the side plate of the main body with the locking protrusion, so that the rotating seat can abut against the locking protrusion and rotate relative to the main body.
[0009] Preferably, in the general-purpose tape table described above, the locking protrusion is a locking ring protruding annularly towards the inner side of the corresponding side plate.
[0010] Preferably, in the general-purpose tape table described above, the coupling seat is fixedly coupled to the side plate of the body without the locking protrusion and is located between the two side plates.
[0011] Preferably, in the general-purpose tape table described above, the coupling seat has at least one locking rib axially protruding on the inner side of the chamber, and the guide seat has at least one locking groove recessed on the side facing the coupling seat, and the at least one locking groove is engaged with the at least one locking rib of the coupling seat.
[0012] Preferably, in the general-purpose tape table described above, the coupling seat has two spaced-apart locking ribs on the inner side of the chamber, and the guide seat has two locking grooves that are respectively engaged with the two locking ribs of the coupling seat.
[0013] Preferably, in the general-purpose tape dispenser described above, the rotary table has a plurality of ribs on its outer surface to allow the user to easily rotate the rotary table.
[0014] In summary, by utilizing the aforementioned technical features, this novel universal tape dispenser, when in use, only requires the user to rotate the rotating seat relative to the main body, allowing the two positioning plates of the positioning device to move relative to the guide seat. This enables the two positioning plates to extend or retract into the outer surface of the connecting seat, providing different widths of space between the two side plates, the connecting seat, and the rotating seat. This allows the user to securely place tapes of different widths onto the main body for cutting. It is extremely convenient and flexible to use, allowing users to position and use tapes of various widths with a single tape dispenser, eliminating the need to purchase multiple tape dispensers of different widths. This significantly reduces the cost of using tape dispensers and decreases the chance of losing them, thus providing a universal tape dispenser with a simplified structure, ease of use, and cost-effectiveness. The other side of the rotating seat 50 is combined with the sliding post 42 of at least one positioning plate 41 of the positioning device 40. The rotating seat 50 has a guide groove 51 through its side for the sliding post to slide. When the rotating seat 50 rotates relative to the body 10, the rotating seat 50 can... The guide groove 51 drives at least one positioning plate 41 to move relative to the guide groove 32 of the guide seat 30 and extend out of the outer surface of the coupling seat 20 via the sliding column 42. Preferably, the rotating seat 50 is provided with two spaced guide grooves 51, which are respectively engaged with the sliding columns 42 of the two positioning plates 41 of the positioning device 40, so that when the rotating seat 50 rotates relative to the body 10, it can drive the two positioning plates 41 to move relative to the guide seat 30. Furthermore, the rotating seat 50 is provided with a plurality of protruding ribs 52 on its outer surface, so that the user can easily rotate the rotating seat 50.
[0023] Please refer to Figures 1, 4, and 7. When using this novel universal tape dispenser, if the two positioning plates 41 of the positioning device 40 are located within the guide groove 32 and do not extend beyond the outer surface of the connecting seat 20, a tape 60A with a width corresponding to the distance between the two side plates 12 can be fitted over the connecting seat 20 and the rotating seat 50 for the user to pull and cut. Please refer to Figures 5 and 6. When the user rotates the rotating seat 50 relative to the body 10, the two guide grooves 51 of the rotating seat 50 will cause the two sliding posts 42 of the positioning device 40 to slide along the corresponding guide grooves 51, resulting in the tape 60A being located within the guide groove 32. The two positioning plates 41 extend outward along the guide groove 32 onto the outer surface of the coupling seat 20. At this time, the user can place a tape 60B or 60C with a width smaller than the distance between the two side plates 12, as shown in FIG8, on the outside of the coupling seat 20 between one of the side plates 12 and the two positioning plates 41, or, as shown in FIG9, on the outside of the rotating seat 50 between the other side plate 12 and the two positioning plates 41; furthermore, as shown in FIG10, the two tapes 60B and 60C can also be placed simultaneously on the outside of the rotating seat 50 between the two side plates 12, and spaced apart by the two positioning plates 41.
[0024] In summary, by virtue of the aforementioned technical features, this novel universal tape dispenser, when in use, only requires the user to rotate the rotating base 50 relative to the main body 10, thereby moving the two positioning plates 41 of the positioning device 40 relative to the guide seat 30. This allows the two positioning plates 41 to extend or retract into the outer surface of the connecting seat 20, providing different widths of installation space between the two side plates 12, the connecting seat 20, and the rotating base 50. This allows the user to adjust the settings as shown in Figures 7, 8, 9, and 10. As shown, tapes 60A, 60B, and 60C of different widths are securely mounted on the main body 10 for cutting. This makes it very convenient and flexible to use, allowing users to position and use tapes 60A, 60B, and 60C of various widths with just a single tape table. This eliminates the need to purchase multiple tape tables of different widths, significantly reducing the cost of using tape tables and decreasing the chance of losing them. This provides a simplified, easy-to-use, and cost-effective universal tape table.
[0025] Please refer to Figures 11, 12, and 13 for a second preferred embodiment of the general-purpose tape table of this invention. The difference between this second preferred embodiment and the first preferred embodiment is that: in this second preferred embodiment, the positioning device 40A is provided with two positioning seats 43A, which are movably disposed in the guide groove 32A of the guide seat 30A and can extend out of the outer surface of the coupling seat 20A through one end of the guide groove 32A; the positioning device 40A is provided with two positioning plates 41A on each of the positioning seats 43A, which are spaced apart on the positioning seats 43A, and the sliding column 42A is disposed on the side of one of the positioning plates 41A away from the guide seat 30A and extends into one of the guide grooves 51A of the rotating seat 50A.
[0026] Please refer to Figure 14. In the second preferred embodiment of this novel universal tape dispenser, by rotating the rotating base 50A relative to the main body 10A, the two positioning seats 43A of the positioning device 40A move relative to the guide seat 30A. This causes the positioning plates 41A on the two positioning seats 43A to extend or retract into the outer surface of the connecting seat 20A, forming three different widths of installation space between the two side plates 12A, the connecting seat 20A, and the rotating base 50A, allowing the user to... (The text abruptly ends here, so the translation stops as well.) As shown in Figure 14, tapes of different widths 60D, 60E, and 60F are securely mounted on the main body 10A for cutting. This makes the tapes very convenient and flexible to use. Users only need a single tape table to position and use tapes of various widths 60D, 60E, and 60F, eliminating the need to purchase multiple tape tables of different widths. This significantly reduces the cost of using tape tables and also reduces the chance of losing them. This provides a simplified, easy-to-use, and cost-effective universal tape table.
