Abstract
Description
toothbrush structure Technical Field
[0001] This work is about a toothbrush structure, mainly referring to an environmentally friendly toothbrush that reduces usage costs. Prior Technology
[0002] A toothbrush is an essential daily tool, consisting mainly of a handle and a brush head. The handle and brush head are molded from a single piece of plastic, and the brush head has multiple rows of bristles. The handle is designed for the user to hold, allowing the bristles to perform brushing motions.
[0003] However, when brushing teeth, the front half of the brush head mainly contacts the teeth, while the back half of the brush head has less contact force. This can cause the front half of the brush head to deform while the back half remains in good condition. In such cases, the entire toothbrush must still be discarded, and the user must spend money to replace it with a new one. This is wasteful and not environmentally friendly. Summary of the Invention
[0004] The purpose of this creation is to provide an environmentally friendly, cost-effective, and hygienic toothbrush.
[0005] The toothbrush of this invention includes a handle and a brush head. The rear end of the handle has a grip section, and the front end of the grip section has a connecting section. Two connecting posts arranged in a front-to-back direction and at least one protrusion are vertically arranged above the connecting section. The brush head has a connecting plate below it, and a plurality of bristles are arranged above the connecting plate. The connecting plate also has engaging holes corresponding to the positions of the connecting posts, allowing it to engage with the connecting posts.
[0006] In one embodiment of this invention, the connecting post and the brush handle are integrally formed, and the connecting post can also be made of wear-resistant stainless steel and disposed on the connecting section.
[0007] In one embodiment of this invention, recesses are provided on the left and right sides of the connecting segment, and the distance between the recesses is less than the width of the left and right sides of the joining plate.
[0008] In one embodiment of this invention, the connecting segment has four protrusions located on the two front sides and two rear sides of the connecting segment.
[0009] In one embodiment of this invention, the height of the protrusions on the two rear sides is greater than the height of the protrusions on the two front sides.
[0010] In one embodiment of this invention, a plurality of guide grooves are provided on the top surface of the connecting section.
[0011] When assembled, this invention features a gap between the connecting section and the brush head's connecting plate to guide airflow and dry the brush head. The airflow groove further enhances the airflow effect, resulting in a toothbrush with improved dryness, hygiene, and safety. Furthermore, when the front half of the brush head's bristles deforms significantly after a period of use, the user can easily remove the brush head through the recessed area within the connecting section, providing easy disassembly. The user can also rotate the brush head 180° and reassemble it with the connecting post via the connecting hole, ensuring the front half of the brush head retains its bristles for brushing, significantly extending the brush head's lifespan and reducing operating costs, while also being environmentally friendly and preventing waste.
[0012] When the bristles of the front and rear halves of the brush head become deformed due to use, the entire toothbrush does not need to be discarded. Users can use the original brush handle and only need to replace the brush head, which can greatly reduce the cost of replacing toothbrushes. Simple Explanation of the Diagram

[0014] Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of the toothbrush head from another angle.
[0015] Figure 3 shows a toothbrush set from this work.
[0016] Figure 4 is a top view of the toothbrush part of this creation.
[0017] Figure 5 shows the toothbrush in this work, corresponding to the AA section view in Figure 2. Implementation
[0018] Please refer to Figures 1-5. The toothbrush of this invention includes a handle 1 and a brush head 2. The handle 1 is made of plastic or other hard material, with a grip section 11 at the rear end and a connecting section 12 at the front end. Two connecting posts 13 arranged vertically upwards in a front-rear direction are provided on the top of the connecting section 12. The connecting posts 13 can be made of wear-resistant stainless steel and can also be integrally formed with the handle 1. The left and right sides of the connecting section 12 are respectively provided with concave portions 14, and the periphery has rounded edges to improve the tactile feel. Four protrusions 15 and 16 are provided on the top surface of the connecting section 12, respectively located on the two front sides and two rear sides of the connecting section 12, with the height of the two rear protrusions 16 being greater than the height of the two front protrusions 15. A plurality of guide grooves 17 are provided on the top surface of the connecting section 12.
[0019] The brush head 2 has a connecting plate 21 made of plastic or other hard material, and a plurality of bristles 22 are provided on the top of the connecting plate 21. The connecting plate 21 is provided with a connecting hole 23 corresponding to the position of the connecting post 13, which can be engaged with the connecting post 13, and its left and right widths are greater than the widths of the recesses 14 on both sides of the connecting section 12.
[0020] In this invention, the brush head 2 is connected to the connecting post 13 of the brush handle 1 with appropriate tightness via the engagement hole 23. After assembly, the protrusions 15 and 16 can abut against the bottom surface of the connecting plate 21, and a gap exists between the connecting section 12 and the connecting plate 21 of the brush head 2 to guide airflow for drying the brush head 2. The airflow groove 17 further enhances the airflow effect. Furthermore, the rear protrusion 16 is designed to be higher than the front protrusion 15, ensuring that the gap between the rear of the connecting plate 21 and the connecting section 12 of the assembled brush head 2 is larger than the front gap, preventing water accumulation like a funnel and ensuring smooth drainage. This results in a toothbrush with better drying, hygiene, and safety.
[0021] When the front half of the brush head 2 bristles 22 deforms significantly due to greater force after a period of use, the rear half bristles 22, which experience less force, remain in a good, undeformed state. The user can easily remove the brush head 2 through the recess 14 within the connecting section 12, making it easy to disassemble. Furthermore, the user can rotate the brush head 2 180° and reassemble it with the connecting post 13 via the connecting hole 23, ensuring that the front half of the brush head 2 retains its undeformed bristles for brushing teeth. This significantly extends the lifespan of the brush head 2, reduces operating costs, and is environmentally friendly and prevents waste.
[0022] When both the front and rear bristles 22 of the brush head 2 are deformed from use, the user does not need to discard the entire toothbrush. The user can use the original brush handle 1 and only needs to replace the other brush head 2, which can significantly reduce the cost of replacing the toothbrush. In addition, when the connecting post 13 of this invention is made of wear-resistant stainless steel, it can allow for multiple combinations of the brush head 2 without breaking, so that the brush handle 1 can be used for a long time without being discarded, which can significantly reduce the cost of use and has environmental benefits.
[0023] Therefore, based on the above description, this invention offers at least the following advantages over conventional toothbrushes: 1. The front and rear halves of the brush head can be rotated for use, extending the brush head's lifespan by twice. 2. The joint between the brush head and handle allows for air circulation, ensuring dryness and hygiene. 3. The recessed design of the connecting section facilitates brush head replacement. 4. The wear-resistant stainless steel connecting post in the handle ensures long-term use without damage. 5. When the toothbrush is damaged, only the brush head needs to be replaced. 6. It offers superior features such as being environmentally friendly, reducing material waste, and lowering operating costs. The foregoing embodiments are illustrative of this invention and not intended to limit its scope. Any equivalent modifications made in accordance with the spirit of this invention should also fall within the scope of this invention.
