Abstract
Description
Voice Interactive Ordering System Technical Field
[0001] This work relates to an ordering system, and more particularly to an ordering system that allows orders to be placed via voice. Prior Technology
[0002] Existing ordering systems for goods or food are mostly operated through manual ordering or touch-screen interfaces, such as having service staff assist with ordering, or having consumers select goods and create orders through mobile devices or tablets.
[0003] However, the above methods still require manual input or selection, which can easily lead to inconvenience and reduced efficiency for users who are not familiar with the operation or in busy environments.
[0004] On the other hand, although some systems have already introduced voice input functionality, it is mostly used only as an auxiliary search tool or for voice-to-text conversion. It has not yet been able to effectively integrate with the product database to directly convert voice commands into corresponding product information and complete order creation.
[0005] Therefore, the creator of this work conceived and designed a voice-interactive ordering system to improve upon the shortcomings of existing technologies and thereby enhance its industrial applicability. Summary of the Invention
[0006] The purpose of this invention is to provide a voice-interactive ordering system that allows users to order goods via voice input in addition to touch control on smart vehicles. The system converts voice commands into corresponding product information through voice recognition to automatically create orders, thereby improving the convenience and efficiency of the ordering process.
[0007] To achieve the above objectives, this invention provides a voice-interactive ordering system, including a server-side computing device connected via a network to a consumer-side computing device associated with a consumer and a merchant-side computing device associated with a merchant. The server-side computing device stores: a database containing product information; a voice receiving module receiving a voice command from the consumer-side computing device; a voice recognition and processing module connected to the voice receiving module to convert the voice command into product information corresponding to the database; and an order generation module receiving the product information to create an order.
[0008] In one embodiment of the voice-interactive ordering system of this invention, the voice recognition processing module includes an artificial intelligence model for voice recognition and semantic analysis.
[0009] In one embodiment of the voice-interactive ordering system of this invention, a point-of-sale (POS) integration module is further included, which is connected to the point-of-sale (POS) system of the merchant's terminal computing device to input the order into the point-of-sale (POS) system.
[0010] In one embodiment of the voice-interactive ordering system of this invention, the point-of-sale (POS) integration module completes the order input through one of the following methods: automated import, automatically writing the order into the point-of-sale (POS) system; or simulated human operation, using a robot to simulate the ordering action to complete the order input.
[0011] In one embodiment of the voice-interactive ordering system of this invention, an interactive display module is further included, which triggers preset character animations or interactive content based on the product information of the order and transmits it to the consumer's terminal computing device.
[0012] In one embodiment of the voice-interactive ordering system of this invention, the interactive display module determines the interactive content based on the proportion of product information types in the order.
[0013] In one embodiment of the voice-interactive ordering system of this invention, a data analysis module is further included, which calculates the material consumption in the product data based on the product data of the order and generates inventory statistics.
[0014] In one embodiment of the voice-interactive ordering system of this invention, a consumer preference analysis module is further included, which receives consumer information input by the consumer terminal computing device and combines it with the product information of the order to analyze the consumer's ordering preferences. Figure 2 is a schematic diagram of an embodiment of the voice interactive ordering system of this creation (I). Figure 3 is a schematic diagram of an embodiment (II) of the voice interactive ordering system of this creation. Figure 4 is a schematic diagram of an embodiment (III) of the voice interactive ordering system of this creation. Implementation
[0016] The detailed description and technical content of this work are illustrated below. However, the illustrations are provided for reference and explanation only to help understand this work and are not intended to limit its scope.
[0017] Please refer to Figures 1 and 2. The voice-interactive ordering system of this invention includes a server-side computing device 100, which is connected to a consumer-side computing device 200 associated with a consumer and a merchant-side computing device 300 associated with a merchant via a network N.
[0018] The server-side computing device 100 includes a processor (such as a CPU or other special-purpose processor), memory (such as random access memory (RAM) or read-only memory (ROM)), storage devices (such as solid-state drives (SSDs) or hard disk drives (HDDs)), and a network communication interface (such as a network card or modem) to store data, execute programs or operating systems, and send or receive data via a network. The server-side computing device 100 can be a server provided by a cloud service provider on the market.
[0019] Consumer-side computing device 200 and merchant-side computing device 300 may be equipped with input devices (such as touchscreens, touchpads, keyboards, cameras, and microphones) and output devices (such as screens and speakers). Consumer-side computing device 200 and merchant-side computing device 300 may be equipped with a connection interface for communication with peripheral devices (such as monitors, keyboards, mice, graphics tablets, printers, and projectors). Consumer-side computing device 200 and merchant-side computing device 300 may receive signal or data input, store data, output signals or data, execute software programs or operating systems, send or receive data via a network, input signals or data via peripheral devices, and output signals or data to peripheral devices. Consumer-side computing device 200 and merchant-side computing device 300 may be mobile phones, tablets, laptops, or desktop computers. Network N can refer to commercially available network communication technologies and supporting equipment and lines, such as: WiFi, 3G, 4G, 4G LTE, 5G, Metropolitan Area Network (MAN), Wide Area Network (WAN), and Internet.
[0020] The server-side computing device 100 stores a database 110, a voice receiving module 120, a voice recognition and processing module 130, and an order generation module 140. The database 110 stores product data 1M, such as information on various dishes in a catering application. The voice receiving module 120 receives a voice command 2M from the consumer-side computing device 200, such as "I want to order a plate of stir-fried beef with scallions." The voice recognition and processing module 130 is connected to the voice receiving module 120 and converts the voice command 2M into product data 1M corresponding to the database 110, for example, parsing the voice command as the product item "stir-fried beef with scallions." The order generation module 140 receives the product data 1M and creates an order 1B based on the product data 1M.
[0021] Furthermore, when the consumer-end computing device 200 launches the voice interactive ordering system of this invention through a browser, the system can display a prompt interface to guide the consumer to click on options such as "authorize voice" or "turn on sound" to obtain the audio input permission of the consumer-end computing device 200, so that the voice receiving module 120 can normally receive the voice command 2M.
[0022] Please refer to Figure 3. In one embodiment of this invention, the speech recognition processing module 130 may include an artificial intelligence model 131 for speech recognition and semantic analysis of the speech command 2M, and converting the recognition result into corresponding product data 1M. The artificial intelligence model 131 can convert the speech content into text data through speech-to-text processing, and further compare the semantic analysis result with the product data in the database 110 to obtain the corresponding product item.
[0023] In one embodiment of this invention, a point-of-sale (POS) integration module 150 is further included, which is connected to the point-of-sale (POS) system 310 of the merchant-side computing device 300 to input the order 1B into the point-of-sale (POS) system 310. To enable this system to integrate with existing point-of-sale (POS) systems that do not provide an application programming interface (API) or are difficult to customize, the point-of-sale (POS) integration module 150 completes the order input through one of the following methods: (1) automated import method, automatically writing the data of the order 1B into the database of the point-of-sale (POS) system 310 or its import interface; or (2) simulated manual operation, using a robot to simulate the ordering action to complete the input of the order 1B. Therefore, even if the existing point-of-sale (POS) system does not have an open interface, order integration and input can still be completed.
[0024] Please refer to Figure 4. In one embodiment of this invention, the voice-interactive ordering system further includes an interactive display module 160, which triggers preset character animations or interactive content based on the product information 1M of the order 1B, and transmits the character animations or interactive content to the consumer-end computing device 200 for display. The interactive display module 160 determines the triggered interactive content based on the type and proportion of the product information 1M of the order 1B. Specifically, the interactive display module 160 can categorize and statistically analyze different types of products, such as meat, vegetables, or other items, and set trigger conditions based on the quantity or proportion of each type of product.
[0025] For example, when the proportion of a certain type of product exceeds a preset threshold, the system can trigger the corresponding character animation. For instance, in a restaurant application, when the proportion of beef items in an order is high, a character animation related to that type can be displayed, such as an animation of "cows dancing".
[0026] In addition, the interactive display module 160 can also provide interactive prompts, offering suggestions based on the order details. For example, if the proportion of a certain type of product in the order is too high or too low, it can display a suggestion to add other items to improve the diversity and nutritional balance of the order. For instance, if the proportion of meat ordered is high, a chef will appear to suggest that the customer add some vegetables.
[0027] Ideally, the character animations triggered by the interactive display module 160 can be pre-made animation templates, which can be selected and played according to order parameters, thereby reducing the computational burden caused by real-time image generation and improving system response efficiency.
[0028] In one embodiment of this invention, the voice-interactive ordering system further includes a data analysis module 170, which is connected to the order generation module 140. Based on the product data 1M of the order 1B, the module analyzes and calculates the material consumption in the product data 1M and generates inventory statistics (not shown). Specifically, the data analysis module 170 can associate the product data 1M of the order 1B with a bill of materials (BOM) to calculate the raw material consumption for each product. For example, if a consumer orders "scrambled eggs with tomatoes," the system will automatically calculate the estimated amount of tomatoes, eggs, and other raw materials to be consumed.
[0029] In one embodiment, when order 1B contains a specific product, the data analysis module 170 can automatically calculate the required quantities of various raw materials based on the bill of materials corresponding to the product, and generate corresponding inventory statistics accordingly. Furthermore, the data analysis module 170 can cumulatively calculate the raw material usage based on data from multiple orders, and can perform periodic statistical analysis in conjunction with procurement data to provide reference information related to inventory consumption and costs.
[0030] In one embodiment of this invention, the voice-interactive ordering system further includes a consumer preference analysis module 180, which receives consumer information 2D input from the consumer-end computing device 200 and combines it with the product information 1M of the order 1B to analyze the consumer's ordering preferences. In one embodiment, the consumer information 2D may include the consumer's basic attribute data or order-related information, and the consumer preference analysis module 180 can analyze the ordering behavior characteristics of different consumers or different groups by statistically analyzing the selection, addition / subtraction records, or preference settings of the product information 1M in the order 1B. This can serve as a reference for subsequent product recommendations, marketing strategies, or system optimization.
[0031] In summary, this invention utilizes voice recognition and system integration technologies to make the ordering process more convenient and intelligent, thereby enabling businesses to achieve digital transformation and interactive marketing.
[0032] The above description is only a preferred embodiment of the present invention and does not limit the scope of the patent. All equivalent structural changes made using the contents of the present invention specification and drawings are also included within the scope of the present invention.
