Backlight module and display apparatus

Abstract

This disclosure proposes a backlight module and display device. The backlight module includes a light source assembly, a first prism, and a light-deflecting film. The first prism is disposed on one side of the light source assembly. The light-deflecting film is disposed on one side of the light source assembly. The backlight module has a light-emitting surface. A light beam emitted by the light source assembly is transmitted through the light-emitting surface of the backlight module to form an illumination beam. The illumination beam has at least one main beam. The angle between the emission direction of the at least one main beam and the normal to the light-emitting surface of the backlight module is greater than or equal to 20 degrees and less than or equal to 70 degrees. The backlight module and display device disclosed herein have better light energy utilization.
