[0002] Among current modes of transportation, motorcycles are quite popular and highly flexible. However, their loading space is limited, so many consumers will add a cargo box to the rear of the motorcycle to increase its cargo capacity.
[0003] However, most storage racks on the market are fixed designs and cannot be moved. To overcome the shortcomings of fixed storage racks, there is also a sliding rail design that allows the racks to move back and forth, making it easier for riders to adjust the position of the racks.

[0005] This disclosure provides a folding rear rack installed at the rear of a locomotive. The folding rear rack includes a platform, a base, and a swing arm assembly pivotally mounted between the platform and the base, allowing the platform to be adjusted relative to the base between a forward position and a rear position. In both the forward and rear positions, the platform receives good support, is quite stable in use, and has an extended service life.
[0006] To achieve the above objectives, this disclosure provides an embodiment of a folding rear rack, which is installed at the rear of a locomotive. The folding rear rack includes: a platform having a placement portion and two first pivot portions, each first pivot portion being connected to two relatively far sides of the placement portion, each first pivot portion including a first platform pivot and a second platform pivot; a base having a second pivot portion on each side, each second pivot portion including a first base pivot and a second base pivot; and a swing arm assembly for pivoting the platform and the base. The platform is positioned between the base and the platform, allowing it to be adjusted relative to the base between a forward position and a rear position. The rocker arm assembly includes two first rocker arms and two second rocker arms. Each first rocker arm is pivotally mounted between the pivot of each first platform and the pivot of each first base, and each second rocker arm is pivotally mounted between the pivot of each second platform and the pivot of each second base. In the forward position, each first rocker arm and each second rocker arm abut against each other, so that the platform is close to the front of the locomotive. In the rear position, each first rocker arm and each second rocker arm abut against each other, so that the platform is far away from the front of the locomotive.
[0007] Therefore, when the platform is in the forward or rear position, the first and second rocker arms abut against each other, ensuring good support regardless of the platform's position, making it very stable and extending its service life. The folding rear rack 100 includes a platform 10, a base 20, and a swing arm assembly 30 pivotally mounted between the platform 10 and the base 20, so that the platform 10 can be adjusted relative to the base 20 between a front position and a rear position. In the front and rear positions, the platform 10 can be well supported, making it very stable in use and extending its service life.

Claims
1. A folding rear rack installed at the rear of a locomotive, the folding rear rack comprising: a platform having a placement portion and two first pivot portions, each of the first pivot portions being respectively connected to two relatively far sides of the placement portion, each of the first pivot portions including a first platform pivot and a second platform pivot; and a base having a second pivot portion on each of its two sides, each of the second pivot portions including a first base pivot and a second base pivot; A rocker arm assembly is pivotally mounted between the platform and the base to allow the platform to be adjusted relative to the base between a forward position and a rearward position. The rocker arm assembly includes two first rocker arms and two second rocker arms. Each first rocker arm is pivotally mounted between the pivot of each first platform and the pivot of each first base, and each second rocker arm is pivotally mounted between the pivot of each second platform and the pivot of each second base. In the forward position, each first rocker arm and each second rocker arm abut against each other to bring the platform closer to the front of the locomotive. In the rearward position, each first rocker arm and each second rocker arm abut against each other to move the platform away from the front of the locomotive.
