Abstract

A reinforcing structure for metal furniture includes a metal sheet for manufacturing the furniture and a plurality of reinforcing structures formed on the metal sheet. The metal sheet has a first surface and a second surface. Each reinforcing structure includes at least a primary embossing and a secondary embossing. The primary and secondary embossings are superimposed to form a multi-shaped reinforcing embossing, thereby increasing the strength of the reinforcing structure. The reinforcing embossing forms a plurality of embossed recesses on the first surface of the metal sheet, and corresponding to the embossed recesses, forms a plurality of embossed protrusions on the second surface. Accordingly, a multi-shaped reinforcing structure is obtained on the metal sheet. Furthermore, through repeated stamping operations, a work hardening effect is achieved, improving the support stability of the metal sheet and extending the service life of the metal furniture.

Claims

1. A reinforcing structure for metal furniture, comprising a metal sheet for manufacturing the metal furniture and a plurality of reinforcing structures formed on the metal sheet, the metal sheet having a first surface and a second surface, the reinforcing structure comprising at least a primary embossing and a secondary embossing, both the primary embossing and the secondary embossing being non-circular embossings, and the superposition of the primary embossing and the secondary embossing forming a multi-shaped reinforcing embossing, thereby increasing the strength of the reinforcing structure, wherein the reinforcing embossing forms a plurality of embossed recesses on the first surface of the metal sheet, and a plurality of embossed protrusions corresponding to the embossed recesses on the second surface.

2. The reinforcing structure of the metal furniture as described in claim 1, wherein, The metal sheet is formed by continuous feeding and stamping using at least a first mold and a second mold. The first mold has a first upper mold and a first lower mold that are closed relative to each other. The lower surface of the first upper mold is provided with a plurality of first stamping protrusions, and the upper surface of the first lower mold is provided with a plurality of first stamping recesses to correspond to the first stamping protrusions. Thus, the first mold is used to stamp and form the first embossing onto the metal sheet. The second mold has a second upper mold and a second lower mold that are closed relative to each other. The lower surface of the second upper mold is provided with a plurality of second stamping protrusions. The second stamping protrusions have the same shape as the first stamping protrusions but different angles. The upper surface of the second lower mold is provided with a plurality of second stamping recesses to correspond to the second stamping protrusions. Thus, the second mold is used to superimpose the second embossing onto the first embossing.

3. The reinforcing structure for the metal furniture as described in claim 2, wherein, Each of the first stamping protrusions of the first upper die is a polygonal cone with a first cone vertex, a plurality of first oblique cone sides, and a plurality of first triangular cone surfaces between each of the first oblique cone sides. Each of the first stamping recesses of the first lower die is a polygonal cone groove. Each of the second stamping protrusions of the second upper die is a polygonal cone with a second cone vertex, a plurality of second oblique cone sides, and a plurality of second triangular cone surfaces between each of the second oblique cone sides. Each of the second stamping recesses of the second lower die is formed by overlapping and stamping the first and second stamping protrusions to form a starburst cone groove.

4. The reinforcing structure for the metal furniture as described in claim 3, wherein, The primary embossing and the secondary embossing are polygonal conical embossings of the same shape. By utilizing the angular misalignment between the secondary embossing and the primary embossing, the secondary embossing overlaps on the primary embossing to form the reinforcing structure, thereby creating a multi-faceted starburst conical embossing.

5. The reinforcing structure for the metal furniture as described in claim 1, wherein, The reinforcing structure includes a first and second embossing, which are formed by stamping and stacking on the first and second embossing.

6. The reinforcing structure for the metal furniture as described in claim 5, wherein, The reinforcing structure includes a quadruple embossing, which is formed by stamping and stacking on the first and second embossings.

7. The reinforcing structure for the metal furniture as described in claim 6, wherein, The fourth embossing is a stamping process that is adjacent to the third embossing.

8. The reinforcing structure for the metal furniture as described in claim 6, wherein, The four-fold embossing is interleaved with the three-fold embossing and is formed by stamping.

9. The reinforcing structure for the metal furniture as described in claim 6, wherein, The reinforcing structure is further provided with a plurality of circular embossed patterns.

10. The reinforcing structure of the metal furniture as described in claim 1, wherein, Metal furniture and accessories made from sheet metal that has been processed into L-shaped angle steel, shelf frames, and storage basket frames.
