Abstract

This invention primarily provides a limiting structure for a bicycle headset, comprising: a head tube, which is a tubular body at the front of a bicycle frame; an upper headset assembly, disposed above the head tube, providing a function for the steering mechanism to rotate smoothly within the head tube, having an upper headset assembly joint disposed above the head tube, wherein an upper bearing seat and an upper bearing are sequentially fitted inside the upper headset assembly joint, the upper bearing being fitted within the upper bearing seat; and a limiting assembly, disposed between each upper headset assembly and the steering mechanism, having an outer limiting seat and an inner limiting seat, the inner edge of the outer limiting seat having a radially recessed limiting rail. The inner limiting seat has at least one limiting flange at a predetermined position on its outer diameter edge, which can be embedded in the limiting rail groove. When each inner limiting seat and steering device rotates synchronously, the limiting flange moves synchronously along the limiting rail groove. In this way, by using the limiting flange and limiting rail groove respectively provided on each inner and outer limiting seat, the structural design between each upper headset and front fork can be compatible with headset structures with or without a top cover. Moreover, the components of the limiting structure are simple, and the assembly is quick and easy, which can greatly reduce the manufacturing cost and is applicable to various types of vehicles, with extremely high compatibility.

Claims

1. A headband limiting structure for a bicycle, which is interconnected with a steering mechanism, comprising: A head tube is a tubular body at the front of a bicycle frame; a headset is located below the head tube, providing the steering mechanism to rotate smoothly within the head tube. An upper headset assembly is located above the head tube, providing the steering device to rotate smoothly within the head tube. It has an upper headset assembly connector located above the head tube, and an upper bearing seat and an upper bearing are sequentially mounted therein, with the upper bearing mounted inside the upper bearing seat. A limiting assembly is provided between each of the upper bearing assembly and the steering device. It has an outer limiting seat and an inner limiting seat. The outer limiting seat is positioned by at least one fitting assembly that is fitted into the upper bearing seat. The inner limiting seat is sleeved inside the outer limiting seat, and its inner diameter edge abuts against the steering device and rotates synchronously with it. A limiting groove is radially recessed on the inner edge wall of the outer limiting seat, which is arranged at a preset angle around the inner diameter of the outer limiting seat. At least one limiting flange is provided at a preset position on the outer diameter edge of the inner limiting seat, which can be fitted into the limiting groove. When each of the inner limiting seats and the steering device rotates synchronously to the left or right, the limiting flange moves synchronously along the limiting groove until one end of the limiting flange abuts against one end of the limiting groove, thereby restricting the continued rotation of each of the inner limiting seats and the steering device.

2. The headset limiting structure of the bicycle as described in claim 1, wherein the headset has a headset connection portion located below the head tube, and a lower bearing seat and a lower bearing are sequentially fitted therein, the outer diameter of the lower bearing seat being positioned against the headset connection portion; a bearing seat is provided at a predetermined portion of the inner diameter of the lower bearing.

A headband limiting structure for a bicycle, which is interconnected with a steering mechanism, comprising: A head tube is a tubular body at the front of a bicycle frame; an upper headset is located above the head tube, providing the steering mechanism to rotate smoothly within the head tube; a lower headset is located below the head tube, providing the steering mechanism to rotate smoothly within the head tube, and has a lower headset connector located below the head tube, in which a lower bearing seat and a lower bearing are sequentially fitted, the lower bearing being fitted within the lower bearing seat; A limiting assembly is provided between each of the lower bearing assembly and the steering device. It has an outer limiting seat and an inner limiting seat. The outer limiting seat is positioned by at least one fitting assembly that is fitted into the lower bearing seat. The inner limiting seat is sleeved inside the outer limiting seat, and its inner diameter edge abuts against the steering device and rotates synchronously with it. A limiting groove is radially recessed on the inner edge wall of the outer limiting seat, which is arranged at a preset angle around the inner diameter of the outer limiting seat. At least one limiting flange is provided at a preset position on the outer diameter edge of the inner limiting seat, which can be fitted into the limiting groove. When each of the inner limiting seats and the steering device rotates synchronously, the limiting flange moves synchronously along the limiting groove. When one end of the limiting flange abuts against one end of the limiting groove, the rotation of each of the inner limiting seats and the steering device is restricted.

The headband limiting structure of the bicycle as described in claim 3, wherein the headband has a headband connection located above the head tube, and an upper bearing seat and an upper bearing are sequentially fitted therein, the outer diameter of the upper bearing seat abutting and positioning against the headband connection; and a bearing seat abutting against a predetermined portion of the inner diameter of the upper bearing.

The headband cup limiting structure of a bicycle as described in claim 1 or 3, wherein the limiting flange is a rib-shaped protrusion surrounding the inner limiting seat, and the circumferential angle θ1 of the limiting flange is between 60° and 200° with the center of the inner limiting seat as a reference.

The headband limiting structure of a bicycle as described in claim 1 or 3, wherein the limiting flange has a first flange and a second flange, and each of the first and second flanges is disposed at a predetermined distance from the outer diameter edge of the inner limiting seat; with the center of the inner limiting seat as a reference, the circumferential angle θ3 between the distance between the first and second flanges is between 60° and 200°.

The headband cup limiting structure of a bicycle as described in claim 1 or 3, wherein the limiting groove is in the shape of a groove track surrounding the inner edge wall of the outer limiting seat, and the circumferential angle θ2 of the limiting groove is between 10° and 330° with the center of the outer limiting seat as a reference.

The headband limiting structure of the bicycle as described in claim 1, wherein the fitting assembly has a recess located at a predetermined portion of the inner diameter edge of the upper bearing seat; and the predetermined portion of the outer diameter edge of the outer limiting seat has a protrusion that can be fitted into the recess.

The headband limiting structure of a bicycle as described in claim 3, wherein the fitting assembly has a recess located at a predetermined portion of the inner diameter edge of the lower bearing seat; and the predetermined portion of the outer diameter edge of the outer limiting seat has a protrusion that can be fitted into the recess.

The headband limiting structure of a bicycle as described in claim 1, wherein one end of the upper bearing seat is shaped as an upper ring seat with a larger outer diameter, which is exposed outside the head tube; a first mark is provided at a preset part of the upper ring seat; a second mark is provided at a preset part of the inner limiting seat, so that when the limiting assembly is fitted onto the upper bearing seat, the first and second marks can be aligned with each other.

The headband limiting structure of the bicycle as described in claim 3, wherein one end of the lower bearing seat is shaped as a lower ring seat with a larger outer diameter, which is exposed outside the head tube; a first mark is provided at a preset part of the lower ring seat; a second mark is provided at a preset part of the inner limiting seat, so that when the limiting assembly is fitted onto the lower bearing seat, the first and second marks can be aligned with each other.

12. The headband limiting structure of a bicycle as described in claim 1 or 3, wherein the steering mechanism has a fork; each of the upper and lower headbands is connected to the fork.

13. The headband limiting structure of a bicycle as described in claim 1, wherein an upper cover is provided on the upper edge of the upper bearing seat.
