Abstract

This invention provides a ground stake comprising a stake head and a stake body. In a first embodiment, the stake head has a concave surface, and the stake body has a body extending from the center of the concave surface in a direction away from the stake head. In a second embodiment, the stake head includes a central portion and two wings extending from opposite sides of the central portion, and the stake body has a body extending from the central portion in a direction away from the stake head, and has two wide surfaces parallel to the extending directions of the wings, and two narrow surfaces perpendicular to the extending directions of the wings. Additionally, this invention also provides a weed suppressing device comprising the aforementioned ground stake and a weed suppressing mat. Thus, the concave end of the stake head or each of the wings can firmly press against the weed suppressing mat.

Claims

1. A ground stake comprising: a stake head having a force-bearing surface and a concave surface opposite to the force-bearing surface; and a stake body having a body extending from the center of the concave surface in a direction away from the stake head, and a stake tip disposed at the extended end of the body.

2. The ground stake as described in claim 1, wherein, The nail head has a central portion connected to the body, and two wings extending from opposite sides of the central portion; the nail body has two wide surfaces parallel to the extending direction of each wing, and two narrow surfaces perpendicular to the extending direction of each wing.

3. The ground stake as described in claim 2, wherein, The nail body has two limiting members located on each of the narrow surfaces, and two oblique cut members extending from each of the limiting members toward a direction away from the nail head. Each limiting member has a limiting surface facing the nail head and perpendicular to the extension direction of the body, and the cross-sectional area of each oblique cut member along the extension direction of the body gradually decreases toward the nail tip.

4. The ground stake as described in claim 2, wherein, The nail head has two abutting parts respectively provided on the concave surfaces of each of the wings for abutting against the ground.

5. The ground stake as described in claim 2, wherein, The nail head has a mesh-like structural reinforcement on the concave surface.

6. The ground stake as described in claim 2, wherein, The nail body has two structural reinforcements extending from each of the width faces toward directions away from each of the width faces.

7. The ground stake as described in claim 2, wherein, The nail body has a through hole that runs through each of its widths.

8. A ground stake comprising: a stake head having a central portion and two wings extending from opposite sides of the central portion; and a stake body having a body extending from the central portion in a direction away from the stake head, and a stake tip disposed at an extended end of the body, the stake body having two wide surfaces parallel to the extending directions of each wing and two narrow surfaces perpendicular to the extending directions of each wing.

9. A weed suppressing device comprising: a weed suppressing mat woven from an opaque material; and a plurality of ground stakes as described in any one of claims 1 to 8 for inserting the weed suppressing mat into the ground.
