Abstract

An adjustable bicycle frame test fixture can be mounted on a testing machine platform to connect a wheel axle to a frame sample. It includes a lower support base with multiple mounting holes for fixing to the platform, an upper support base with multiple mounting holes for connecting to the wheel axle, spherical bearings disposed in each support base, and a fastener. The fastener is detachably passed through one of the spherical bearings and then inserted into one of the mounting holes to secure it to the lower support base, thereby determining the fulcrum position. The distance from the fulcrum position to the wheel axle depends on the wheel radius. This allows for quick installation and adaptation to different wheel sizes.

Claims

1. A bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size, suitable for use with a test bench, for connecting a wheel axle mounted on a frame sample, and comprising: a lower support base having a plurality of fixing holes for fixing to a platform of the test bench; an upper support base including an axle connection portion for connecting the wheel axle and an extended support portion for connecting the axle connection portion, the extended support portion having a mounting hole; a spherical bearing disposed in the mounting hole, having an outer ring and an inner ring, the outer ring being fixed to the upper support base and movably fitted onto the inner ring; and a fastener for detachably inserting into the inner ring of the spherical bearing and then inserting into one of the fixing holes to fix it to the lower support base, thereby determining a fulcrum position, the distance from the fulcrum position to the wheel axle depending on the wheel radius.

A bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size, suitable for use with a test bench, for connecting a wheel axle mounted on a frame sample, and comprising: a lower support base having a fixing hole for fixing to a platform of the test bench; an upper support base including an axle connection portion for connecting the wheel axle and an extended support portion for connecting the axle connection portion, the extended support portion having a plurality of mounting holes; a plurality of spherical bearings respectively disposed in the plurality of mounting holes, each spherical bearing having an outer ring and an inner ring, the outer ring being fixed to the upper support base and movably fitted onto the inner ring; and a fastener for detachably passing through the inner ring of one of the spherical bearings and then inserting into the fixing hole to fix to the lower support base, thereby determining a fulcrum position, the distance from the fulcrum position to the wheel axle depending on the wheel radius.

A bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size, suitable for use with a test bench, for connecting a wheel axle mounted on a frame sample, and comprising: a lower support base having a plurality of fixing holes for fixing to a platform of the test bench; an upper support base having a shaft connection portion for connecting the wheel axle and an extended support portion for connecting the shaft connection portion, the extended support portion having a plurality of mounting holes; a plurality of spherical bearings respectively disposed in the plurality of mounting holes, each spherical bearing having an outer ring and an inner ring, the outer ring being fixed to the upper support base and movably fitted onto the inner ring; and a fastener for detachably passing through the inner ring of one of the spherical bearings and then inserting into one of the fixing holes to fix to the lower support base, thereby determining a fulcrum position, the distance from the fulcrum position to the wheel axle depending on the wheel radius.

A bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the inner surface of the fixing hole is provided with a first thread, the first end of the fastener is provided with a second thread, the second thread of the fastener is capable of engaging with the first thread of the fixing hole, and the second end of the fastener is opposite to the first end and is available for gripping.

5. A bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size as described in claim 2 or 3, wherein the plurality of mounting holes are arranged in a row in the direction extending from the wheel axle relative to the height of the platform.

6. A bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size as described in claim 1 or 3, wherein the plurality of fixing holes are arranged in a row in the direction extending from the wheel axle relative to the height of the platform.

A bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size according to any one of claims 1 to 3, wherein the wheel axle connection of the upper support is a hollow sleeve, and the central axis of the hollow sleeve is perpendicular to the extension direction of the wheel axle relative to the height of the platform.

8. The bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size as described in claim 7, wherein the central axis of the hollow sleeve is perpendicular to the central axis of the fixing hole and the central axis of the mounting hole.

9. The bicycle frame test fixture adjustable to wheel size according to any one of claims 1 to 3, further comprising a washer disposed between the lower support and the upper support, and the washer being aligned with the inner ring, thereby allowing the fastener to be inserted into the washer after being inserted into the inner ring.

10. A testing machine comprising a bicycle frame testing fixture as described in any one of claims 1 to 3.

11. A testing machine comprising a bicycle frame testing fixture as described in claim 4.

12. A testing machine comprising a bicycle frame testing fixture as described in claim 5.

13. A testing machine comprising a bicycle frame testing fixture as described in claim 6.

14. A testing machine comprising a bicycle frame testing fixture as described in claim 7.

15. A testing machine comprising a bicycle frame testing fixture as described in claim 8.
