Abstract

A modular device monitoring system includes a control panel module for displaying device status information; a controller module for receiving device signals from different sources, converting the device signals into system-recognizable status information, and transmitting it to the control panel module; and an event module for defining device status judgment conditions, such as setting thresholds, logical conditions, or triggering rules. These modules are dynamically linked, and when a user-defined event condition is met, the system automatically sends a system request to notify other systems or services that a specific event has occurred and triggers subsequent corresponding actions.

Claims

1. A modular device monitoring system, comprising a control panel module, a controller module, and an event module that are independent but dynamically interconnected; wherein the control panel module displays device status information in real time based on device status information provided by the controller module; the controller module, as the communication interface between the system and the monitored device, can receive device signals from different sources, convert the device signals into status information recognizable within the system, and transmit them to the control panel module to display an anomaly; the event module can define anomaly judgment conditions, judge or calculate based on the values or statuses displayed by the control panel module, and when the conditions are met, the system automatically sends an event notification or warning signal to notify other systems or services that a specific event has occurred and triggers subsequent corresponding actions.

2. The modular device monitoring system as described in Request 1, wherein the anomaly judgment conditions of the event module can be set as thresholds, logical conditions or triggering rules.

3. The modular device monitoring system as described in claim 1, wherein the control panel module does not communicate directly with any monitored device.

4. The modular device monitoring system as described in claim 1, wherein the controller module may contain multiple types of controllers and is not limited by the device manufacturer.

5. The modular device monitoring system as described in claim 1, wherein the controller module can receive device signals from different sources and is not limited to digital I / O, analog I / O, RS485 or other communication methods.

6. The modular device monitoring system as described in claim 1, wherein the control panel module, the controller module, and the event module can be associated with each other through device status data, and there is no direct functional coupling.

7. The modular device monitoring system as described in claim 1, wherein the abnormal display of the control panel module can be in the form of images, text, tables, or a combination thereof.
