Abstract

This invention provides a tamper-evident fastener, comprising a base, a top cover, and a wire component. The base forms an internal cavity and a top opening. The cavity defines a first-leg receiving area and a second-leg receiving area, wherein the first-leg receiving area has a pre-assembled receiving groove to pre-position the first leg of the wire component. The top cover slides along guide rails on both sides of the base and engages with guide grooves on the top cover, and can be secured by a hook portion engaging with a shoulder portion. The second leg of the wire component can be inserted through the top opening, and a locking protrusion extending from the second leg and shorter than both legs is pushed into the locking protrusion receiving recess to complete the locking. The internal blocking structure of the top cover engages with the cavity limiting surface to restrict the exit path of the two legs, ensuring that once locked, it can be inserted but not removed, and can only be disassembled by breaking it. The base may also have a through hole and a label receiving recess.

Claims

1. A tamper-evident seal, comprising: a base defining an internal cavity and a top opening, the top opening communicating between the internal cavity and the outside of the base; wherein, The internal cavity defines a first foot receiving area and a second foot receiving area, and the first foot receiving area includes a pre-assembled receiving groove; a top cover coupled to the base and movable relative to the base between at least a first position and a locked position while maintaining the coupling state; and a wire member including a loop portion, a first foot extending from the loop portion, and a second foot extending from the loop portion; wherein the first foot is a pre-assembled foot positioned in the pre-assembled receiving groove; wherein the second foot can be inserted into the second foot receiving area through the top opening; The wire component further includes a locking protrusion extending from the second foot and configured to be pushed into a locking receiving recess formed in the base from a partially exposed state near the top opening, so that the buckle is in a locked state; and wherein, when the top cover is in the locked position and the locking protrusion is received in the locking receiving recess, an internal blocking structure of the top cover cooperates with a boundary surface of the internal cavity to restrict the exit path of the first foot and the second foot, thereby making it difficult for the wire component to be removed without damage.

2. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 1, wherein, The base has guide rails on its opposite sides, and the top cover has corresponding guide grooves to cooperate with the guide rails to guide the sliding of the top cover relative to the base.

3. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 2, wherein, The top cover includes a hook portion configured to engage with one of the engagement shoulders of the base to prevent the top cover from detaching from the base and to maintain the top cover positioned on the guide rail.

4. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 1, wherein, The internal blocking structure includes at least one protrusion and at least one rib located on the inner side of the upper cover, and when the upper cover is in the locked position, the protrusion and the rib extend to the upper region of the internal cavity.

5. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 1, wherein, The base has a locking protrusion guide block near the top opening, and the locking protrusion is guided into the locking receiving recess by the locking protrusion guide block during the pushing process.

6. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 1, wherein, The locking protrusion is shorter than the first foot and shorter than the second foot, such that before the locking protrusion is pushed into the locking receiving recess, it forms a short section that can be operated externally near the top opening.

7. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 1, wherein, The first foot receiving area and the second foot receiving area are separated from each other by an internal partition structure of the base, so that when the buckle is locked, the first foot and the second foot are respectively held in the corresponding receiving area.

8. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 1, wherein, The base includes a first limiting part and a second limiting part. When the buckle is in the locked state, the first limiting part and the second limiting part respectively block the reverse retraction and exit path of the first foot and the second foot.

9. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 1, wherein, The base has a through hole at its lower part, which is configured to allow a rope or a fastener to pass through.

10. The tamper-evident seal as described in claim 1, wherein, The top cover covers the top opening when in the locked position, so that the locking protrusion is not exposed to the outside when it is received in the locking receiving recess.
