Abstract

An operating device with a replaceable panel unit is disclosed, suitable for selectively configuring a first button panel unit and a second button panel unit. The operating device includes an operation panel unit and a processing unit. The operation panel unit includes a base and a button receiving portion disposed on the base. The button receiving portion has multiple buttons and a message reading area, and can be configured for either the first or the second button panel unit. The processing unit is electrically connected to the button receiving portion and has a first button code lookup table and a second button code lookup table. By replacing different button panel units, machine tool simulation operating systems from different controller manufacturers can be quickly switched, facilitating operator training and reducing equipment costs required for training.

Claims

1. An operating device with a replaceable panel unit, suitable for selectively configuring a first button panel unit and a second button panel unit, the first button panel unit including a plurality of first button portions and a first message carrying area, the second button panel unit including a plurality of second button portions and a second message carrying area, the operating device with the replaceable panel unit comprising: an operating panel unit including a base and a receiving button portion disposed on the base, the receiving button portion having a plurality of buttons and a message reading area, and being disposed on either the first button panel unit or the second button panel unit, the positions of a plurality of the buttons respectively corresponding to the positions of the first button portions, the positions of a plurality of the buttons respectively corresponding to the positions of the second button portions, the message reading area being positionally corresponding to the first message carrying area, and the message reading area also being positionally corresponding to the second message carrying area, the message reading area being disposed on the receiving button of the first button panel unit. The system can read the message carried in the first message carrying area at any time, or read the message carried in the second message carrying area when the second button panel unit is set in the receiving button part; and a processing unit electrically connected to the receiving button part, having a first button code lookup table and a second button code lookup table. When the message reading area reads the first message carrying area, the processing unit uses the first button code lookup table to define the buttons. When the message reading area reads the second message carrying area, the processing unit uses the second button code lookup table to define the buttons.

2. The operating device for the replaceable panel unit as described in claim 1 further includes a display screen electrically connected to the arithmetic processing unit. When the message reading area reads the first message carrying area, the display screen displays a first operating system screen. When the message reading area reads the second message carrying area, the display screen displays a second operating system screen.

The operating device for the replaceable panel unit as described in claim 1 further includes a quick-release screw, the receiving button portion further having a button portion quick-release screw hole spaced apart from the buttons and the message reading area, the first button panel unit further including a first quick-release screw hole spaced apart from the first button portions and the first message carrying area, and the second button panel unit further including a second quick-release screw hole spaced apart from the second button portions and the second message carrying area. The quick-release screw can be used to lock in the button portion quick-release screw hole. When the first button panel unit is disposed on the receiving button portion, the quick-release screw is locked into the first quick-release screw hole and the button portion quick-release screw hole. When the second button panel unit is disposed on the receiving button portion, the quick-release screw is locked into the second quick-release screw hole and the button portion quick-release screw hole.

The operating device for the replaceable panel unit as described in claim 3 further includes a plurality of fixing screws, the receiving button portion further having a plurality of button portion fixing screw holes separated from the buttons, the message reading area and the button portion quick-release screw holes, the first button panel unit further including a plurality of first fixing holes separated from the first button portions, the first message carrying area and the first quick-release screw holes, and the second button panel unit further including a plurality of second fixing holes separated from the second button portions, the second message carrying area and the second quick-release screw hole portion. The fixing screws can be used to lock into the button portion fixing screw holes respectively. When the first button panel unit is disposed on the receiving button portion, the fixing screws pass through the first fixing holes and are locked into the button portion fixing screw holes respectively. When the second button panel unit is disposed on the receiving button portion, the fixing screws pass through the second fixing holes and are locked into the button portion fixing screw holes respectively.
