Abstract

This application discloses a mounting detection device suitable for a circuit board defining a mounting area. The mounting area has multiple screw holes. The mounting detection device includes a detection component and a connection interface. The detection component includes a backplate and a flexible circuit board. The backplate is adapted to be disposed on the back side of the mounting area on the circuit board. The flexible circuit board is adapted to be disposed between the circuit board and the backplate. The flexible circuit board includes multiple pressure sensors. The positions of the pressure sensors correspond to the positions of the screw holes. The connection interface has a first connector and a second connector.

Claims

1. A mounting detection device adapted to a circuit board of a computer system, the circuit board defining a mounting area having a plurality of screw holes, the mounting detection device comprising: A detection component includes: a backplate adapted to be disposed on the back of the mounting area on the circuit board; a flexible circuit board adapted to be disposed between the circuit board and the backplate, the flexible circuit board including a plurality of pressure sensors, the positions of the pressure sensors respectively corresponding to the positions of the screw holes; and a connection interface coupled to the detection component, having a first connector and a second connector.

2. The installation detection device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the backplate is part of a metal fastener for securing a computing element to the circuit board.

3. The installation detection device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the pressure sensors are thin-film pressure sensors.

4. The installation detection device as claimed in claim 3, wherein the first connector is disposed on the circuit board and coupled to the pressure sensors, and the second connector is disposed on the circuit board for insertion of the first connector.

5. The installation detection device as described in claim 4, further comprising: A voltage divider circuit, coupled to the connection interface, is used to divide multiple sensed voltages.

6. The installation detection device as described in claim 1, wherein the computer system comprises: A controller, coupled to the circuit board, is used to obtain the fastening pressure on the screw holes based on multiple sensed voltages from the circuit board.

7. The installation detection device as claimed in claim 6, wherein the controller analyzes the locking status of the screw holes based on the locking pressure on the screw holes, and notifies the screw holes of the locking status by means of the on / off of an indicator light or the presentation of a notification screen.

8. The installation detection device as described in claim 6, further comprising: A notification device, coupled to the controller, is used to notify the locking status of the screw holes.

9. The installation detection device as claimed in claim 8, wherein the notification device includes a plurality of light-emitting diodes controlled by the controller.

10. The installation detection device as claimed in claim 1, wherein the screw holes are for fastening a heat sink or a fastener for securing an operating element.
