Abstract

A solvent condensation and recovery system and method for an industrial oven are disclosed. The core of the system is a combined jacketed heat exchanger comprising a detachable jacket. This jacket has an outer tube housing a plurality of inner tubes. Perforated baffles are connected to both ends of the outer tube, with perforations matching the ends of the inner tubes. Cooling medium is supplied by a cooling device and flows through a cooling channel formed between the outer and inner tubes via a connecting pipe. Simultaneously, a hot air duct transports high-temperature gas from the oven, one end of which is connected to a perforated baffle on one side of the jacket, and a solvent trapping device is installed on the duct. An exhaust duct connects to a baffle on the other side of the jacket. The high-temperature gas is transported through the hot air duct into the inner tubes, where it undergoes efficient heat exchange surrounded by the cooling medium, condensing the solvent vapor into liquid and achieving solvent recovery.

Claims

1. A solvent condensation and recovery system for an industrial oven, comprising: a combined shell-and-tube heat exchanger, the combined shell-and-tube heat exchanger comprising: a detachable shell, the detachable shell comprising an outer tube connected to a cooling device via a connecting pipe, a plurality of inner tubes located inside the outer tube, each end of the outer tube being connected to a perforated baffle plate, the perforated baffle plate containing a plurality of holes, the shape of the holes matching and connected to the diameters of the ends of the inner tubes; a hot air duct conveying a high-temperature gas from inside the oven, the other end of the hot air duct being connected to the perforated baffle plate at one end of the detachable shell, a solvent trapping device mounted on the hot air duct; and an exhaust duct connected to the perforated baffle plate at the other end of the detachable shell; wherein... A cooling medium is sent out by the cooling device and flows through the connecting pipe through a cooling channel formed between the outer pipe and the inner pipes. The high-temperature gas is transported to the inner pipes through the hot air pipe.

2. The solvent condensation and recovery system for the industrial oven as described in claim 1, wherein an organic compound liquid condensed inside the inner tubes is introduced into the solvent collection device through the inner tubes.

3. The solvent condensation and recovery system of the industrial oven as described in claim 1, wherein the detachable sleeve is fixedly connected to the porous partition, and the hot air pipe, the exhaust pipe and the porous partition are connected in a detachable manner.

4. The solvent condensation and recovery system of the industrial oven as described in claim 1, wherein the outer tube is further provided with a plurality of handles, which facilitate disassembly and assembly during system maintenance or cleaning.

5. The solvent condensation and recovery system for the industrial oven as described in claim 1, wherein the solvent collection device further includes a load detector that can issue an alarm when the collected organic compound liquid reaches a set amount.

6. The solvent condensation and recovery system of the industrial oven as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cooling medium in the combined shell-and-tube heat exchanger flows in the opposite direction to the high-temperature gas flow.

7. The solvent condensation and recovery system of the industrial oven as claimed in claim 1, wherein the cooling medium in the combined shell-and-tube heat exchanger flows in the same direction as the high-temperature gas.
